"While the pro-life agenda is anathema, the LGBT agenda is an integral part of the curriculum.
In California, sex education must align itself with progressive dogma — or else.
The Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) is conducting an investigation...series of videos actually depicted was animations of how abortions are carried out during various stages of pregnancy.

SCUSD spokesman Alex Barrios insisted the videos are “completely inappropriate for the classroom” and fail to “meet the district’s approved family life and sexuality curriculum.”
...It would be illuminating to know what this parent and others think of that same seventh-grade curriculum including a lesson entitled “Blue is for Boys, Pink is for Girls.”
It is a lesson that “engages students in a discussion surrounding gender stereotypes and their origin,” and “connections around non-heterosexual orientations.”
It’s followed by a lesson called “Sexual Orientation, Behavior and Gender Identity” that discusses “different types of sexual orientation and distinguishes between orientation, behavior and identity.”
In short, while the pro-life agenda is anathema, the LGBT agenda is an integral part of the curriculum..."

Pew: 3 in 4 Americans Have Trouble Discerning Between Fact and Opinion | Intellectual Takeout

Pew: 3 in 4 Americans Have Trouble Discerning Between Fact and Opinion | Intellectual Takeout
"A few years ago, the ACT released a study showing that K-12 teachers and college instructors believe discerning between fact and opinion is one of the most important things students can learn.
Unfortunately, less than 20 percent of first-year college students are able to tell the difference between these two items.
As it turns out, discerning between fact and opinion doesn’t appear to be the sole problem of millennials.
According to a recent Pew report, other Americans struggle with this task as well.
Pew explains:
“A new Pew Research Center survey of 5,035 U.S. adults examines a basic step in that process: whether members of the public can recognize news as factual – something that’s capable of being proved or disproved by objective evidence – or as an opinion that reflects the beliefs and values of whoever expressed it.”
The study posed ten statements to participants, five of which were factual, five of which were opinions.
(Take the quiz here.)
Only one in four adults were able to correctly identify all the factual statements.

Study: Climate change deniers more likely to hold racist views - The College Fix:
"A new study by a DePauw University political science professor claims that those who do not believe in climate change are more likely to hold racist views.
See the source imageStudy author Salil Benegal arrived at this conclusion by examining data from Pew Research and the American National Election Studies, both of which conduct a sample of interviews after each US presidential election.
Since 1960, the latter has conducted a “racial resentment” (against African-Americans) survey which asks participants to rate from 1 to 5 “how much they agreed or disagreed with [the following] four statements”:
  • Irish, Italians, Jewish, and many other minorities overcame prejudice and worked their way up. Blacks should do the same without any special favors.
  • Generations of slavery and discrimination have created conditions that make it difficult for Blacks to work their way out of the lower class.
  • Over the past few years, Blacks have gotten less than they deserve.
  • It’s really a matter of some people not trying hard enough. If Blacks would only try harder, they could be just as well off as whites....

“They have PlayStations. Pool tables. It’s far from a concentration camp and people should be more accurate when they describe what we are trying to accomplish there."

Most Americans Are Not Prepared For A Major Disaster! Are You?

Most Americans Are Not Prepared For A Major Disaster! Are You?
"Most people living in the United States are ill-prepared, or not prepared at all for a major disaster.
According to the results of a recent poll, a natural disaster would devastate the majority of the population.
A recent poll conducted by Business Insider partner MSN asked people about their emergency preparedness levels.
The results, although not alarming, show just how poorly prepared most of the population is for a natural disaster.
...According to the poll as reported by Science Alert, only three in ten Americans say they have an emergency preparedness kit, 42 percent of Americans say they’re not at all prepared for a disaster, and 46 percent say they’re only prepared a little..."

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen corrected the establishment media’s false narrative that all children inundating the United States-Mexico border are arriving with their parents.
During a White House news conference on Monday evening, Nielsen debunked the media’s false claims that conflate all child border crossers as being taken from their border crossing parents.
