Civil Unrest Is Here: Violence Erupts In American Streets As Progressive Leaders Urge Their Followers To "Rise Up" And Prepare For A "Summer Of Rage" | The Daily Sheeple
"On Friday, Michael Moore went on Bill Maher’s HBO show and suggested that the U.S. military would side with progressives in a civil war against Donald Trump.
You can watch Moore make these comments on YouTube right here.
The very next day, Antifa thugs violently clashed with pro-Trump conservatives that had gathered for a prayer rally on the streets of Portland, Oregon.
Flash-bang grenades were thrown by Antifa activists, the police confiscated “mace, clubs, gloves with reinforced knuckles, batons, knives and handgun clips”, and many were injured and had to be taken to the hospital.
The violence was so dramatic that some are actually calling this the first skirmish in America’s next civil war.
Last week, a shocking poll found that 31 percent of all Americans believe that there will be a civil war in America within the next five years and that 59 percent of Americans believe that Donald Trump’s opponents will resort to violence.
But after the events of this past weekend, we no longer have to wonder if civil unrest is coming to America.
Civil unrest is already here, and it is going to get much worse in the months ahead.
The next several months are being billed as a “summer of rage”...

I am a legal immigrant and proud to celebrate the Fourth of July in the greatest country on Earth | Fox News

I am a legal immigrant and proud to celebrate the Fourth of July in the greatest country on Earth | Fox News:

Image result for flickr commons images American FlagI came to America legally. I played by the rules.
It took me four years, and it was the most harrowing experience I’ve ever endured. I spent money I didn’t have. I suffered sleepless nights. At one point, I was even turned away at an airport because a political opponent in the Obama administration placed me in a situation where I was barred from traveling in the United States.
But I persisted – the most American virtue of all – and I prevailed.

30 Percent Of Indians Are Anemic - Switching From Rice (Or Bioengineering Better Stuff) Would Help | Science 2.0
"Starting in the 1960s, a Green Revolution in India led to a boom in rice and wheat production and that helped reduce hunger - but it meant demands on the water supply and pollution from fertilizer.
See the source imageWhen Indians have embraced modern technology more recently, pollution from fertilizer has gone down, but rice takes a lot of water.
And "natural" rice is not great nutritionally.
Nutrient deficiencies are already widespread in India today--30 percent or more are anemic--and many regions are chronically water-stressed.
But it doesn't have to be that way.
By comparing yield, water use, and nutritional values such as calories, protein, iron, and zinc of six major grains currently grown in India (rice, wheat, maize, sorghum, and pearl and finger millet) researchers in a new analysis found that found that rice is the least water-efficient cereal when it comes to producing nutrients.
Replacing rice with maize, finger millet, pearl millet, or sorghum could reduce irrigation water demand by 33 percent, while improving production of iron by 27 percent and zinc by 13 percent..."

In June, an angry Mrs. Waters called for all people to drive any Trump administration official from any public space, following on attacks on White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen and White House adviser Stephen Miller.

State Business Handout Program Wastes Another $2 million [Mackinac Center]
"Another state subsidy deal fails to deliver--Posted by Michael D. LaFaive
The state’s Michigan Business Development Program, a creation of the Gov. Rick Snyder administration, was meant to replace the demonstrably failed Michigan Economic Growth Authority program and — presumably — have more success at creating jobs.
The Legislature should shut down the MBDP in its entirety, but short of that, cut the program’s annual budget at least by the amount of taxpayer dollars it loses to bad decisions.
One such bad choice involved RNFL Acquisition LLC, which was located in Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula.
This firm did business as “Michigan Renewable Carbon” and was a subsidiary of Biogenic Reagents. It was given $2 million in state subsidies through the MBDP and a “Renaissance Zone” designation, which exempted it from real and personal property taxes.
Image result for government stealing from taxState officials did this for a firm that they knew was “in a pre-revenue stage” and that, without the subsidy, the “project could be at risk.”
The state subsidy deal required RNFL to create 27 new jobs and comply with “revenue participation” terms, which mandated it to pay back to the state 112 percent of the subsidy
...But it was not to be.
RNFL Acquisition laid off its employees in June 2016...
...The MEDC’s spokeswoman, Michelle Grinnell, said, via email, “We have not received any repayment, and at this point don’t expect that we will.
The asset sale was not sufficient to cover all of the creditors, including MSF.”
Despite this failure, the company deal still appeared on an MEDC webpage as late as June 7, 2018, under the heading “Pure Michigan’s Business Success Stories.”
In summary, state taxpayers ponied up $2 million in job creation subsidies that didn’t create any jobs."
