Thunder StrzokThe American Spectator

Thunder StrzokThe American Spectator
"The creepiest witness to ever grace a Congressional hearing, minced in his seat and evaded questions for hours on end Thursday.
His name?
Peter Strzok (pronounced “Struck” for the Democrats on the committee who kept mispronouncing it).
The general impression from his testimony?
What a complete weirdo.
It is astonishing that someone so strange, supercilious and seemingly evil reached so high a position in law enforcement...

Peter Strzok’s arrogance is the product of a corrupt FBI

Peter Strzok’s arrogance is the product of a corrupt FBI:

Image result for wikicommons images peter stzok FBIGradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted.
Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of his malignant presence on the FBI payroll?
My answers can be summarized in four names: James Comey, Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray. They are chief culprits in the death of public trust in the Department of Justice.

How they "think"-----Should Neil Gorsuch be removed from the Supreme Court? | MLive.com

Should Neil Gorsuch be removed from the Supreme Court? | MLive.com
Should Neil Gorsuch be removed from the Supreme Court?

Supreme Court justices have lifetime appointments, but the U.S. Constitution leaves open the possibility of impeachment.
Many believe Neil Gorsuch should be removed from the Supreme Court
He's occupying Merrick Garland's stolen seat and was appointed by someone who many on the left see as an illegitimate president
But even critics of Gorsuch argue talks of impeachment are crazy.
Not only will it never happen, it would set a wildly dangerous precedent that Congress can impeach justices it does not like.
What do you think?
PERSPECTIVES
...The U.S. Constitution guarantees Supreme Court justices "shall hold their Offices during good Behavior," but what exactly constitutes bad behavior?
As one Daily Kos commenter put it: why not try?
Republicans used ruthless, unethical methods to keep Merrick Garland from joining the Supreme Court.
Why shouldn't Democrats retaliate if they take back Congress in 2018?...

Gender Follies at the University of Minnesota | Power Line

Gender Follies at the University of Minnesota | Power Line
"The University of Minnesota has published in draft form a new “gender identity” policy.
The Star Tribune headlines: “He, she or ze? Pronouns could pose trouble under University of Minnesota campus policy.”
Using the wrong pronoun could turn into a firing offense at the University of Minnesota.
The U is considering a new “gender identity” policy that would assure transgender men and women, as well as others, the right to use whatever pronoun they wish on campus — whether it’s he, she, “ze” or something else.
And everyone from professors to classmates would be expected to call them by the right words or risk potential disciplinary action, up to firing or expulsion.
Gender nazis love to get people fired.
The University offers a menu of gender identities and pronouns from which students can choose:
Personal Pronoun
• He/him/his
• None
• Prefer not to specify
• She/her/hers
• They/them/theirs
• Ze/Zir/Zirs
Gender identity
• Agender
• Enter your own
• Gender nonconforming
• Genderqueer
• Man
• Nonbinary
• Prefer not to specify
• Two spirit
• Woman
The purpose is to prevent the dreaded “misgendering.”.."

However, now their allegiance is strengthened because they see his agenda is working — and they understand their recent fall from power could become permanent.
The fact is, Mr. Trump’s first 18 months in office have been a resounding success. His administration’s policies have resulted in a roaring economy, record low unemployment, increased wages, reduced illegal border crossings, the largest income tax cut and reform in 31 years, a massive reduction in federal rule-making, the near destruction of ISIS and better health care for veterans.

From 2016-Colluding to steal an election-----Records: Too many votes in 37% of Detroit’s precincts

Records: Too many votes in 37% of Detroit’s precincts
"Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election, according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.
See the source imageDetailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books.
...The Detroit precincts are among those that couldn’t be counted during a statewide presidential recount that began last week and ended Friday following a decision by the Michigan Supreme Court.
Democrat Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly prevailed in Detroit and Wayne County.
...Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals.
The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent.
And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes..."

Hungary: Border protection is a very important responsibility, security is our number one priority

Hungary: Border protection is a very important responsibility, security is our number one priority:
"Hungary and its citizens’ security continues to be the Hungarian government’s “number one priority”, Peter Szijjarto, the foreign minister, said in New York on Friday.
During talks on the United Nations’ global migration package, Szijjarto said that Hungary has recently seen “what illegal migration is like, when crowds of people cross the country to reach better-off western Europe”.
“The events have proved that border protection is a very important responsibility,” he added.
The Hungarian government disagrees with the final draft of the package, because it sees it as “one with the rights of migrants at its centre”, Szijjarto said, and insisted that “focus should also be given to the rights of those that want to live in peace and security in their own homelands”...

Wow!-----I Was the Mob Until the Mob Came for Me - Quillette

I Was the Mob Until the Mob Came for Me - Quillette
"I drive food delivery for an online app to make rent and support myself and my young family.
This is my new life.
I once had a well paid job in what might be described as the social justice industry.
Then I upset the wrong person, and within a short window of time, I was considered too toxic for my employer’s taste.
I was publicly shamed, mobbed, and reduced to a symbol of male privilege.
I was cast out of my career and my professional community.
Writing anything under my own byline now would invite a renewal of this mobbing—which is why, with my editor’s permission, I am writing this under a pseudonym.
He knows who I am.
In my previous life, I was a self-righteous social justice crusader.
I would use my mid-sized Twitter and Facebook platforms to signal my wokeness on topics such as LGBT rights, rape culture, and racial injustice. Many of the opinions I held then are still opinions that I hold today.
But I now realize that my social-media hyperactivity was, in reality, doing more harm than good.
...How did I become that person?
It happened because it was exhilarating.
Every time I would call someone racist or sexist, I would get a rush.
That rush would then be reaffirmed and sustained by the stars, hearts, and thumbs-up that constitute the nickels and dimes of social media validation.
The people giving me these stars, hearts, and thumbs-up were engaging in their own cynical game:
A fear of being targeted by the mob induces us to signal publicly that we are part of it..."
Fascinating story.
