Anti-Gun Professor Looks Out Her Window and Is Paralyzed With ‘Fear,’ So She Calls the Police — Then, They Inform Her of the Truth | TheBlaze.com:

"An anti-gun professor at the University of North Dakota says she dialed 911 in absolute “fear” when she spotted “two figures in camo with guns outside” her classroom window.

“My first thought is for my students’ and my safety: I grab my phone, crawl under my desk and call 911,” Heidi Czerwiec wrote in an op-ed for the Grand Forks Herald.

The professor said she could “barely talk” due to her overwhelming “fear,” but those feelings soon turned into “rage” when the 911 dispatcher informed her of the truth:"

New York City Bill to Call for Free Tampons in Public School Restrooms, Shelters and Jails

New York City Bill to Call for Free Tampons in Public School Restrooms, Shelters and Jails - The New York Times:
"New York City Council members are joining a growing national movement to improve access to feminine hygiene products, and on Tuesday will introduce proposals for free tampons and pads in city public school restrooms and homeless shelters, and easier access at correctional facilities.
“This has been so taboo for so long, that no one even thought about it,” said Councilwoman Julissa Ferreras-Copeland, who led local efforts with a pilot project providing free pads and tampons at a high school in Queens that is being expanded to include 25 schools.
“It’s just been something that it has never been O.K. to talk about.”
...The proposals by the council members are the latest in a series of efforts around the world that some supporters call “menstrual equity”...

Is Liberalism Killing the Manly Man?

Is Liberalism Killing the Manly Man? » Louder With Crowder:
"Is liberalism killing the real, masculine male?
It seems that way.
Keep in mind here, that when I say “man,” I’m not talking about the clichéd embodiment of false machismo who throws back macro-brews, chases skirts and scratches himself in public.
By “real” I don’t mean someone who has to be tough, brawny or even rough around the edges.
I’m speaking about the ideal of manhood that young boys have upheld in their hearts and minds for generations.
...In all seriousness, my father (like most fathers) always taught me that a man is someone who stands by his principles, someone who lives with integrity and puts his family before himself.
That last one is important, because as a young boy, it’s your pops who provides you with security.
The financial, emotional, even physical security of the son rests squarely on the shoulders of his father.
What could possibly be more manly than providing all of the above for your kin?
...Here’s the problem with the modern, liberal man — he can never fully provide that sense of security for his family, because he doesn’t believe that he can provide it for himself.
Liberals don’t believe in the ultimate concept of self-reliance, which is why they look to the government for stability.
Extravagant welfare programs, the near impossibility of getting fired on the public dole and an increasingly complicated tax code are all products of the same deeply rooted concept that man cannot provide for himself..."

IRC to seed Montana with refugees (soon!) US State Dept. gives go ahead

David Miliband’s IRC to seed Montana with refugees (soon!) US State Dept. gives go ahead « Refugee Resettlement Watch:

The Mayor, city council and county commissioners of Missoula County Montana have given their blessing to the New York City-based International Rescue Committee headed by former British Foreign Secretary and globalist David Miliband (good friend of both George Soros and Hillary Clinton) to begin the colonization of Montana with third world refugees from the Middle East, Africa and Asia beginning in Missoula.
I have so much to say, where to begin?
First, if you are a new reader, see all of my previous posts on Montana by clicking here
Remember the driver for these new offices (this article says Tallahassee, FL just got a new office) is that Obama has upped the number of refugees to be resettled this year from the recent 70,000 a year to 85,000 for FY2016 (runs from Oct. 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016) and frankly they are running out of ‘capacity’ in existing resettlement cities.
Cities are overloaded and experiencing problems with such things as inadequate housing and not enough jobs for refugees.  Tensions are building in overloaded cities and they are looking to get a foothold into fresh territory.
So, since we learn in this article that the approval for the resettlement was granted for this fiscal year, it should happen quickly, AND it also means that the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has already sent a R & P Abstract to the US State Department..." Read on!

Tomorrow's Civilizational Cringe Today :: SteynOnline:
"I regret having to begin every other paragraph with "As I wrote...", but the fact is this problem was in plain sight a decade ago - and all M Jambon and the rest of the European political class did was sit back and accelerate the rate of Islamization. As I wrote (last time, I promise) in my book America Alone:
In June 2006, a 54-year old Flemish train conductor called Guido Demoor got on the Number 23 bus in Antwerp to go to work. Six – what's that word again? – "youths" boarded the bus and commenced intimidating the other riders. There were some 40 passengers aboard. But the "youths" were youthful and the other passengers less so. Nonetheless, Mr Demoor asked the lads to cut it out and so they turned on him, thumping and kicking him. Of those 40 other passengers, none intervened to help the man under attack. Instead, at the next stop, 30 of the 40 scrammed, leaving Mr Demoor to be beaten to death. Three "youths" were arrested, and proved to be – quelle surprise! - of Moroccan origin. The ringleader escaped and, despite police assurances of complete confidentiality, of those 40 passengers only four came forward to speak to investigators. "You see what happens if you intervene," a fellow rail worker told the Belgian newspaper De Morgen. "If Guido had not opened his mouth he would still be alive."
No, he wouldn't. He would be as dead as those 40 passengers are, as the Belgian state is, keeping his head down, trying not to make eye contact, cowering behind his newspaper in the corner seat and hoping just to be left alone. What future in "their" country do Mr Demoor's two children have?
...Of the ethnic Belgian population, some 17 per cent are under 18 years old. Of the country's Turkish and Moroccan population, 35 per cent are under 18 years old. The "youths" get ever more numerous, the non-youths get older..."

Andrea Tantaros Just Torched Hillary After Email 'Smoking Gun' Video Emerges: 'This Is Willful...':

"This could well be the “smoking gun” that will have finally blown a gaping hole in Hillary Clinton’s claims that her use of a personal, unsecured, home-brew email server never presented a security risk with regard to classified material and sensitive secrets of the U.S. government."

HEINLEIN WINS AGAIN! So in Stranger In A Strange Land, we have the institution of the Fair Witness, people who are trained and sworn to observe and report accurately, because images and recordings are so easy to doctor.
And now we have this in real life:
This system instantly edits videos to make it look like you’re saying something you’re not.
“The short version: take a YouTube video of someone speaking like, say, George W. Bush.
Use a standard RGB webcam to capture a video of someone else emoting and saying something entirely different.
Throw both videos into the Face2Face system and, bam, you’ve now got a relatively believable video of George W. Bush’s face — now almost entirely synthesized — doing whatever the actor in the second video wanted the target’s face to do.
It even tries to work out what the interior of their mouth should look like as they’re speaking.”
"It’s only a coincidence, I’m sure, that both examples in this illustration are Republicans: George W. Bush and Donald Trump."

The woman behind the F/A–18 jet’s Bitchin’ Betty alert system retires (VIDEO).
The Siri of military jets is retiring.
In this video, Boeing bids a fond farewell to a voice that F/A–18 Super Hornet fighter pilots know well, a voice that’s very likely saved more than a few of their lives.
She’s known as “Bitchin’ Betty,” and she was the faceless voice of the F/A–18—until now.
Kind of like Siri, but for fighter jets.
Her real name is Leslie Shook.
For 20 years, Shook’s voice has greeted F/A–18 pilots when they power up their craft, and more critically, it’s her urgent voice that calls their attention to things on the verge of going horribly wrong inside and out of the cockpit.
Hence the “Bitchin’.”
Shook doesn’t mind the nickname, and talks in the video of a friend introducing her to an “air crew," or flyer, who felt indebted to Betty for her lifesaving “roll right, roll right!”
She understandably tears up recalling the story..."

5 Quick Facts About the Gender Pay Gap

5 Quick Facts About the Gender Pay Gap - Hit & Run : Reason.com
In America and the U.K., the "gender pay gap"—the space that separates average male-worker wages from average female-worker wages—has been picking up steam as an important political topic, especially as elections near.
In the process, a lot of misinformation is also gaining traction.
Yet rigorous research on the gender pay gap paints quite a different picture than the political spin on it does.
As evidence, see this recent paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research... looked at gender pay gap stats dating back to the 1950s and stretching through 2010.
...In 1980, American women's average hourly earnings were about 63 percent of men's, but by 1989, women were earning 73 percent of what men did. But since the 1980s, the gap has closed much less quickly.
In 2010, women were making 79 percent of men's overall wages.
In 2014, full-time female workers earned about 79 percent of what men did on an annual basis and about 83 percent when wages were measured weekly.

  • Wage-gap narrowing wasn't tied to government policies.

In a section on the impact of government policies on the gender pay gap, Blau and Kahn explore whether "the time path of the increase in women's relative earnings appears compatible with an effect of [federal] laws and regulations."
In short: not really..."

Hillary: Illegals Should Be Able To Sign Up On Obamacare Exchanges, I Want 'More Options' For Them to Get Healthcare - Breitbart:

"Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that she supports allowing illegal immigrants to buy insurance off the exchanges set up under Obamacare, and addressed the issue of subsidies by saying this would need to “be worked out in comprehensive immigration reform. And what I do want to see, is that we have more options for undocumented people to be able to get the healthcare they need” on Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Final 5 Candidates.”

60 American Law Profs Condemn Anonymous Student For Posting 'All Lives Matter' On Prof's Door

TaxProf Blog:
"Campus Reform, American Univ. Profs: Saying ‘All Lives Matter’ Is ‘White Supremacy’:
Dozens of professors from American University’s Washington College of Law (WCL) openly condemned an unknown student as a white supremacist for posting a sign with the catchphrase “All Lives Matter” on a faculty member’s door.
“The ‘All Lives Matter’ sign might seem to be a benign message with no ill intent, but it has become a rallying cry for many who espouse ideas of white supremacy and overt racism, as well as those who do not believe the laws should equally protect those who have a different skin color or religion,” the professors wrote in a statement to the WCL community. ..
The handwritten sign was allegedly posted on the door of a faculty member’s office by a student who has not been identified.
The professors, however, think the student clearly intended to promote a racist message. ...
Nearly 60 professors signed on to the letter."

LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

Spiral Death Spin

By Tammy Derouin

The administration wants civil unrest and the most uninformed among us are bound and determined to deliver it right to his door step.  They are clueless to the fact that they are being used to destroy the very country that acknowledges their God given rights.  They demand that their voices be heard but they will do everything in their power to silence anyone who dares to disagree with them.  This is liberal hypocrisy at its best.

The executive and his administration have worked tirelessly to divide our nation.  They never waste an opportunity to undermine or chip away at our freedoms and liberties.  Their foot soldiers are being used to deny others their God given rights.  Can you imagine the outcry if conservatives were attempting to silence liberals?  It would be a much different story.

Our rights are not a one party benefit.  This is precisely why our founding fathers created a governing system of laws, not men.  They understood that everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs.  Having an opinion or in many cases, facts, which differ from the ruling party is proving to be very dangerous.  Everyone has the right to speak freely and to assemble but not when it interferes with the rights of others.  We know the liberal Left would not tolerate the same malicious treatment.

Today many liberals feel safe while trampling on the rights of others.  After all, the administration turns a blind eye to their unruly behavior. They cannot see they are destroying themselves in the process. If they think they are being ignored or not being heard now, wait until their party turns on them.  They will scream foul when their rights are infringed upon.  But, will there be any rights left to claim?

The Left demands tolerance, yet they will not tolerate anyone who disagrees with their agenda of destruction.  Our society is in a spiral death spin......

Glenn Beck’s Fiery Response to Terrorist Attacks in Brussels: ‘This Is Traditional Islam’ | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"In the wake of the deadly attacks in Brussels that left at least 34 dead and nearly 200 injured, radio host Glenn Beck claimed that the Islamic State is not, in fact, “radical Islam.”

Instead, the conservative firebrand argued that the attacks being carried out in the name of Islam are actually “traditional Islam” and that it is people like Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a conservative Muslim-American who advocates the separation of mosque and state and opposes “political Islam,” who are truly “radical.”

This is gonna hurt...big time-----Price of neglect: Michigan must spend billions on water, sewer fixes

Price of neglect: Michigan must spend billions on water, sewer fixes - Crain's Detroit Business: "Much of Michigan’s water and sewer infrastructure has been neglected for years, threatening public health and in desperate need of repair, an undertaking that experts say could cost $17.5 billion over the next two decades.
That price tag doesn’t include the cost of replacing lead service pipes across the state, a peril exposed by the ongoing water crisis in Flint.
How shaky is Michigan’s overall water infrastructure?
Consider our faltering network of sewers.
In 2013 and 2014, nearly 25 billion gallons of partially treated and untreated storm and sanitary sewage flowed into Michigan’s waterways.
How much is that?
One billion gallons is enough to fill more than 1,500 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
In its most recent report card, released in 2009, ASCE gave Michigan a D+ for its storm water sewers and a C for those that carry waste water.
Even worse, the report card gave the state’s drinking water system a D.
“A significant portion of the state’s primary (water) distribution system is nearing 100 years old,” the report said, adding, “Much of the delivery system, including piping, valves and hydrants, are reaching the end of their anticipated design life, and routine replacement has been postponed for too long....”"

Michigan Schools Let Students Pick Gender | The Daily Caller

Michigan Schools Let Students Pick Gender | The Daily Caller:

"In fact, the guidance seems to intentionally cut parents out of the process.

The guidance states: “School staff should address students by their chosen name and pronouns that correspond to their gender identity, regardless of whether there has been a legal name change.”

Students can even ask to have their chosen name and gender “included in the district’s information management systems, in addition to the student’s legal name.”

But what about when school staff members are speaking with parents about their son or daughter?"

But, but, but taxes are up, up, up!-----Report: Michigan city revenues lone in nation to fall from 2002 to 2012

Report: Michigan city revenues lone in nation to fall from 2002 to 2012 - Crain's Detroit Business: "LANSING — An advocacy group says Michigan is the only state in the nation to see an overall revenue drop for cities, townships and counties from 2002 to 2012.
The Michigan Municipal League said Monday that the state cut revenue sharing with cities, townships, villages and counties by $7.5 billion during that timeframe.
The group advocates for more state money for local governments. Cities use that money to pay for things like fire and police departments, local roads, libraries and city hall expenses.
The group used U.S. Census Bureau data to show that Michigan cities saw an 8 percent drop in revenues that the group said is tied to state laws.
Senate Fiscal Agency economist David Zinn said he couldn't confirm or deny the group's claims, but called them "believable.""

The end of (American) civilization----…And Now the U.S. Ranks Dead Last in Problem-Solving Tech-Skills

…And Now the U.S. Ranks Dead Last in Problem-Solving Tech-Skills | Intellectual Takeout:

  • "Yesterday we learned that the U.S. is failing when it comes to literacy, and how that has a direct effect on our elections.
  • Today we learn that Americans are also failing in what many might consider one of our best skills: digital technology

From The Wall Street Journal:
“A new report [from the National Center for Education Statistics] finds U.S. workers rank dead last among 18 industrial countries when it comes to ‘problem solving in technology-rich environments,’ or using digital technology to evaluate information and perform practical tasks.
The consequences of that emerging competitive disadvantage is energizing the volatile undercurrent of this year’s presidential race, some observers say.
If the problem-solving deficit is bad, the reasons for it may be worse, said Stephen Provasnik, the U.S. technical adviser for the International Assessment for Adult Competency: flagging literacy and numeracy skills, which are the fundamental tools needed to score well on the survey.”
In other words, Americans are whizzes at posting selfies, snap-chats, and other simple messages on social media, but when it comes to actually sitting down and analyzing and applying the things they read, forget it.

Lunch video-----WWII Pilot Tells A Story That'll Make You Feel Like A Pansy

WWII Pilot Tells A Story That'll Make You Feel Like A Pansy - World War Wings:
"This Man Can Definitely Deliver A Story, That’s For Sure
Meet Flight Lieutenant Bill Green, a pilot for the Royal Air Force during World War II.
He tells us about his first time in the cockpit of a Hurricane after only a few hours of classroom training.
As it turns out, it didn’t go so well for him, but he still remembers it fondly by the excitement in his voice!
I pulled my stick back, did the loop…and blacked out with the G. When I came around, from the blackout, the instruments were going round and round…I was upside-down, hanging on the straps, and I put my stick over to correct it and went into a spin. The buzz was the Hurricanes and Spitfires can’t get out of a spin…-Bill Green, RAF pilot.
After this incident flying for the first time, Bill Green was put into the No. 501 Squadron and had to fly to aid in the Battle of Britain!
Having only seven hours of experience flying in a Hurricane, it took only four days for his Hurricane to get so damaged in battle that he had to glide to safety as his engine was shot.
Five days after that, he was shot down again, this time having to bail out of the plane.
To top it off, his parachute failed and he almost died, but lucky his canopy fully opened only seconds from death.
Listening to this man’s story is truly inspirational as his life experience at 21 was nothing like most of ours!"
