The single-payer health care plan that cleared the lower chamber of New York's state legislature on Tuesday would require massive tax increases to double—or possibly even quadruple—the state's current annual revenue levels.
The state Assembly voted 87-38 on Tuesday night to pass the New York Health Plan, which would abolish private insurance plans in the state and provide all New Yorkers (except those enrolled in Medicaid and Medicare) with health insurance through the state government.

"The New York Times ran a story on Monday entitled “Syrian Crematory is Hiding Mass Killings of Prisoners, U.S. Says,” alleging the Syrian regime is killing large numbers of its prisoners and burning their bodies in a Nazi-style crematorium, but that claim largely relies on prior reporting from human rights group Amnesty International which does not hold up to scrutiny.

The Times report cites newly declassified satellite photographs of the Sednaya Prison complex taken over the last four years, paraphrasing acting assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, Stuart Jones, who said that apparent lack of snow on one of the buildings in a photograph from 2015 suggests a “significant internal heat source.”
That, amazingly, is the extent of the Times’ evidence, yet the paper chose to run with an incredibly inflammatory and flimsy narrative about a cover-up of mass executions by the Syrian regime.
The narrative about mass killings at the Sednaya Prison originates with a Feb. 7 Amnesty International (AI) report entitled “Human Slaughterhouse: Mass Hangings and Extermination at Saydnaya Prison,” using an alternate spelling of the prison complex.
Without that report, there would be very little to back up the Times’ allegation, but the report itself is riddled with serious errors and inaccuracies..."

The Times does PDFs of every other document it cites in an exclusive. 
This story quotes this memo, but the newspaper does not produce any memo.
Why?
From the New York Times:

Mr. Comey shared the existence of the memo with senior F.B.I. officials and close associates. The New York Times has not viewed a copy of the memo, which is unclassified, but one of Mr. Comey’s associates read parts of it to a Times reporter.

Fake News.

Comey did not verify the existence of this memo to the Times reporter, who instead relied on the word of an anonymous third party (Carlos Slim?) who read something over the phone that the Times says is in a memo written by Comey. 
That's it. 
No verification. 
No proof. 
Nothing. 
This is a lower standard than the National Enquirer uses.
The memo does not exist.
But the press pretends the smoking memo exists -- and the press pretends Trump officials who trust the press enough to talk to the press off the record.

Our individual history defines us.  Each person has the opportunity to make the best or worst out of their experiences. Benjamin Franklin said, "The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself."  Happiness is not a guarantee and it's certainly not the government's responsibility to make you happy.  It's the responsibility of the government to protect the rights, safety and security of the American people.

Happiness is defined by each individual.  What makes you happy may not make me happy.  There isn't a secret formula, it's trial and error.  Regardless of what liberals promise, happiness is not government issued. Objects, benefits and made up rights, such as heath care and entitlements, act as the sugar the liberals use to bait and hook. Once the government establishes dependency, they have a controllable, loyal following. If we were to fast forward into the possible future, it would be very bleak.

Government already has too much control.  I read an article this past week where it was implied that it would be so much simpler if they (the government) just told us what to eat.  Do you think it would stop there?  They've already forced mandatory health care on us or suffer a penalty.  What else do you think the government would like to control to make life easier for them? 

Have you noticed that so many people are at their happiest when they are miserable? We all know people that aren't happy unless they are complaining.......

In his arguments, Neal Katyal stated today that the collection of such data as outlined by the Executive Order 13780 contravenes the Establishment Clause, in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…”.
In doing so, Katyal appears to be making the case that honor killings — murder committed in the name of restoring a family’s dignity following discouraged behaviour within fundamentalist homes — is in itself Islamic.
It is an argument often made by anti-Islam campaigners, but to hear such arguments made by the political left might surprise some, especially when honor killings are also found — though to a lesser extent — in other religious groups like the Sikh community."

What had happened quickly became clear, and was soon confirmed by a hospital test: one of these local Icelanders who had approached me (probably the one who said he was a big fan, as he was much closer to me than the “F**k you” guy) had dropped drugs into my drink..."
