Because the responses from Trump’s most dogged critics on the Russia question betray a kind of anxiety about the Mueller appointment—an anxiety that the no-nonsense law enforcement wise man will lower the temperature in Washington without actually uncovering enough damaging material to bring down the President.
Take, for example, Josh Marshall declaring that while he has confidence in Mueller to identify and expose any criminal activities undertaken by Trump or his associates, he won’t be able to prosecute the real Trump-Russia wrongdoing: a labyrinthian “conspiracy” which may not even involve any illegal behavior.
It is critical to understand that the most important details we need to know about the Russian disruption campaign and the Trump campaign’s possible collusion with it may not be crimes.

Of course, it is American taxpayers, not the government, that are shouldering this hefty sum.
Currently, the government is particularly interested in retrieving outstanding student loan debt.
Student loans are one of the most common and largest forms of borrowing in recent years, as families still hold to the belief that a college education is the necessary for achieving the “American Dream.”
The total value of outstanding student loans eclipses $1.3 trillion in 2017.
Nearly 8 million Americans holding some $137 billion in federal student loans are at least 360 days delinquent on their payments.
That figure is roughly equivalent to the number of people who lost their homes after the housing market collapse of 2007..."

"Russia-Gate remains in full swing, and the latest bout of hysteria is related to President Trump’s alleged sharing of intelligence with Russia.
The original report about the supposed leak came from The Washington Post.
The Post reported that the leak put a source of intelligence on the Islamic State at risk. 
But the spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on Tuesday that the reports were nothing except “yet another fake.”
As Darius Shatahmasebi wrote on Wednesday,

According to the Post, Trump gave his Russian counterparts information “considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government.” Specifically:

“Trump went on to discuss aspects of the threat that the United States learned only through the espionage capabilities of a key partner. He did not reveal the specific intelligence-gathering method, but he described how the Islamic State was pursuing elements of a specific plot and how much harm such an attack could cause under varying circumstances. Most alarmingly, officials said, Trump revealed the city in the Islamic State’s territory where the U.S. intelligence partner detected the threat.”

Apparently, this information was too sensitive for Trump to give to Russian representatives, but not too sensitive for anonymous officials to leak to the Washington Post, who turn broadcasted it to the entire world.

Shatahmasebi adds,

In other words, the Post also knows the details of this classified information. Anonymous officials can leak sensitive information to an unaccountable media outlet, but Trump can’t disclose that information to a delegation of people who could actually benefit from the information? How does that work?

Just last year, the Post didn’t seem to have any problems with the US government sharing intelligence with Russia.
