2005 - North Korea publicly announced for the first time that it had nuclear arms. The country also rejected attempts to restart disarmament talks in the near future saying that it needed the weapons as protection against an increasingly hostile United States.

‘Feminist Business School’ Teaches Students to Shun Profit-Seeking | Trending:
"The Feminist Business School, founded by Evergreen State College graduate Jennifer Armbrust, teaches that capitalism is an “economy that values masculine traits” such as “meritocracy,” “competition,” and “individualism.” 
The California-based site recently launched two more online courses to coach aspiring businesswomen on how to “topple the patriarchy” and promote a more “feminist economy.”
Shunning the “profit seeking motive” of traditional commerce, the Feminist Business School advocates that businesswomen adopt more “feminine traits” such as “gratitude,” “intimacy,” and “connecting with nature.”
“The feminine economy proposes a new set of values and redistribution of money and power based on feminine principle,” argues Armbrust on the program’s website.
As PJ Media reported last month, the school’s first offering was a “Concepts and Conceptions” course dedicated to helping women give “birth” to a feminist business..."

"Health Care: Amid the news crush of the week, it would have been easy to miss President Trump's tweet blasting Britain's National Health Service.
As with everything else he does or says, Trump managed to get people riled up.
This time, it was for telling the truth.
On Monday, Trump tweeted that "The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks!"
The usual suspects expressed shock and horror that Trump would say such a thing, including outraged members of the British government, who said that the protesters love the NHS, they just want the government to spend more money on it.
The New York Times even devoted 1,000 words "fact-checking" Trump's 41-word tweet, but ended up admitting that in Britain, "patients often wait months, even for essential procedures" and that "some patients wait up to 12 hours in emergency wards before being seen." Isn't that what Trump was saying?
In any case, the problems at the NHS are far worse than the Times lets on.
Just a few months ago, in fact, the British Red Cross described conditions in U.K. hospitals as a "humanitarian crisis."  
The president of the Royal College of Medicine recently said the emergency care system was "on its knees."...

"Anti-Trump Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif. – who has vigorously promoted his own “fake news” by accusing Fox News’ Tucker Carlson of working for Vladimir Putin and claiming Trump has “instated more pro-Russia policies that America has seen in decades” – says he’s been inspired by President Trump to propose a law making it a federal crime to “intimidate” or attack journalists.
Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, introduced the Journalist Protection Act in the House on Monday.
He claimed the legislation must be passed to protect reporters from the “toxic environment” created by President Trump, who has accused some media outlets of reporting “fake news.”
Swalwell’s bill makes it a federal crime “to intentionally cause bodily injury to a journalist affecting interstate or foreign commerce in the course of reporting or in a manner designed to intimidate him or her from newsgathering for a media organization” and “represents a clear statement that assaults against people engaged in reporting is unacceptable, and helps ensure law enforcement is able to punish those who interfere with newsgathering.”...

After releasing a heavy-redacted memo on Monday, committee chairman  Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) put out  an updated version late Tuesday after the FBI removed several of its earlier redactions. 
It offers a glimpse into what the Bureau initially considered to be classified information, and seems to justify what Grassley called his “loss of faith in the ability of the Justice Department and the FBI to do their job free of partisan, political bias.” (You can read my initial take on the memo here.)
The memo also supports many of the key findings by the House Intelligence committee, including Steele’s secret dealings with the press and the failure of the Justice Department and the FBI to inform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court about the political funding and source of the so-called dossier..."
