BREAKING: Page and Strzok Texts Reveal They Discussed Writing a "Folksy" Op-ed on Russia - Sara A. Carter
BREAKING: Page and Strzok Texts Reveal They Discussed Writing a "Folksy" Op-ed on Russia - Sara A. Carter:
Former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his paramour former FBI attorney Lisa Page exchanged text messages several months before the 2016 election that suggest the pair were writing an op-ed together and that the FBI seemingly “authorized” a Washington Post story on potential Russian interference during the November elections.
On Sept. 2, 2016, Page texts Strzok about writing an op-ed: “Got it. But we are still writing the op-ed, yes?”
Strzok replies, “Yes, ish. He said too much data would be good to identify the key pieces of data and frame it in an argument, but not to spend ‘too much time on the opening or closing.’

Turbo Prop Water Bomber Scoops From Lake- Rare Interior Footage - World War Wings:
"This Is Neat To Watch.
The reason that it’s so rare to see footage like this is because there are simply not many of these planes around.
Only 90 CL-415s were built and they’re not used on a continuous basis.
As of this writing, we’ve only seen two of these water bombers in action from this vantage point.
According to the description of the video, this took place in Portugal and the crew was getting water from Rio Douro.
You can actually see them pass over a dam before dipping down and getting to work..."

Cory Booker's 'Spartacus' moment: Watchdog asks ethics committee to review senator - Washington Times:

Some of the documents Mr. Booker first released last week were actually cleared by the committee at the time he posted them online. But others were classified as confidential.
Mr. Booker remained defiant Wednesday, vowing to release still more confidential documents.
“No effort to intimidate me into silence will keep me from doing my moral and constitutional duty,” he said.
He said the documents marked “committee confidential” don’t raise any national security concerns.

Byron York: When a foreign adversary meddled in a presidential election
"In the 1990s, a hostile foreign power meddled in our presidential election.
There were serious questions about whether one party's candidate -- the beneficiary -- was complicit in the meddling, or at least looked the other way while it was going on.
The candidate fiercely resisted the appointment of a special prosecutor, then known as an independent counsel, to investigate.
Finally, amid only moderate media interest and public concern, it all faded away.
The country doing the meddling, of course, was China, and the presidential candidate was Bill Clinton, who was already in the White House and seeking re-election in 1996..."

Jamie Glazov Suspended from Facebook over '9 Steps to Best Counter Jihad' Article | Breitbart"Jamie Glazov a Canadian columnist and host of the Glazov Gang, was suspended from Facebook for 30 days on September 11, after posting an article titled “9 Steps to Best Counter Jihad.”
Glazov posted a screenshot of the article link in which Facebook claims it broke the platform’s community standards.
Glazov commented to Breitbart News, saying: ““First I was banned for reporting a member of the Religion of Peace threatening me.
Now I am banned, on 9/11 mind you, for daring to give suggestions on how we can stop another 9/11.
It is against Facebook’s ‘community standards’ to try to stop Jihadist attacks on Americans.
This is really getting surreal in the creepiest and most harrowing Stalinist sense.”

Facebook has banned me for 30 days for posting my article on the 9 steps we need to take to counter Jihad. Let that sink in. @Chris_A10_USA @DVATW @JZmirak @ClareMLopez @AngelOfficial @SuzaSusza @FranSism1g @RNRKentucky @Bootsctr74 @TheGreatFeather @MazurikL @jihadwatchRS
The article outlined nine ways in which Jihad can be countered both online and in person. Glazov’s tips include:” 1. Label the Enemy and Make a Threat Assessment. 2. Scrap “Countering Violent Extremism.” 3. Stop “Partnering” With Muslim Brotherhood Front Groups. 4. Implement a Concrete “Countering-Jihad” Strategy. 5. Launch Our Own Counter-propaganda Campaign.”

California's Latest Attack on Second Amendment: Ammunition Controls | Breitbart:
With nearly every gun control imaginable already on the books, Democrats in California are now weighing ways to control ammunition.
Breitbart News reported that California ushered in 2018 with ammunition controls by mandating that residents only buy in-state ammunition, and requiring that those purchases be made from state-approved ammunition vendors.

"I recently dug up a 1908 curriculum manual in the Minnesota Historical Society archives.
It provided instructions on everything from teacher deportment to recommended literature lists for various grades.
As a book lover, I was especially interested in the latter!
With the exception of a few textbook-like anthologies, the chart below lists the recommended reading material for Minnesota 7th and 8th graders in 1908:

With such a list in hand, I decided to examine if the common accusation that today’s education standards have been dumbed down is really true. To make sure I wasn’t unfairly weighting this survey in favor of the past, I went to one of the Twin Cities metro area's finest districts, namely, Edina Public Schools. Again, with the exception of a few textbook anthologies, the list below offers the reading options for their 7th and 8th grade students:

A New Color of Censorship from the SPLC.
“Bloodmoney,” Color of Change’s smear campaign, seeks to shut down the fundraising abilities of conservative organizations by pressuring credit card companies and payment processors to deny access to conservative groups blacklisted by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The Gleichschaltung has arrived whether you care to recognize it or not.
Color of Change falsely accuses all of these groups of promoting violence and white supremacy...more...

Judicial Watch: Benghazi Documents Point to White House on Misleading Talking Points - Judicial Watch:
“Now we know the Obama White House’s chief concern about the Benghazi attack was making sure that President Obama looked good,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “And these documents undermine the Obama administration’s narrative that it thought the Benghazi attack had something to do with protests or an Internet video. Given the explosive material in these documents, it is no surprise that we had to go to federal court to pry them loose from the Obama State Department.”

“An eye-opening documentary, The Creepy Line reveals the stunning degree to which society is manipulated by Google and Facebook and blows the lid off the remarkably subtle – hence powerful – manner in which they do it.
The Creepy Line is a title taken from the words of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, when during a 2010 interview he explained Google’s code of conduct:
‘The Google policy on a lot of things is to get right up to the creepy line and not cross it.’
However, as Dr. Robert Epstein explains in the film, ‘Google crosses the creepy line every day.’..."

Your education dollars at work-----College rolls out colorful approach to 'microaggressions'
College rolls out colorful approach to 'microaggressions'
- The University of Utah has started a new poster campaign on campus in order to highlight “commonly used microaggressions."
- The campaign is a part of the university’s priority to create a “welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who comes to campus.”
- One University of Utah student who is part of one of the "marginalized groups" told Campus Reform that he finds the posters "incredibly insulting."
..."Microaggressions are subtle—often unintentional—statements or actions that reveal unconscious biases toward members of marginalized communities," a statement from the university read.
The University of Utah gave examples of "microaggressions," including “I don’t think of you as a person with a disability” and “you speak really good English.”
Other “microaggressions” include “you’re pretty for a dark-skin girl,” “you don’t look like a lesbian,” “what are you?” (presumably referring to ethnicity/nationality) and “where are you really from?”...

Why Border Security Matters | American Center for Law and Justice:
Who would have thought just a few short years ago that both Democrats and Republicans, who saw securing our southern border as an important issue and a point of agreement between the two parties, would be in a political battle over the matter? As the President and GOP members of Congress call for immigration reform, enforcing existing laws, and building a wall to secure the border with Mexico—leaders in the Democrat Party accuse them of bigotry and a lack of compassion.
Consider then-President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union speech:

Seattle's Amazon Tax Was Going to Raise $20 Million For Affordable Housing. Now the City is Getting Sued for $40 Million for Stopping a Housing Project. - Hit & Run : Reason.com
"...Earlier this summer the Seattle City Council passed a since repealed $20 million tax on jobs (also known as an Amazon Tax), with plans to spend that money on affordable housing and homelessness services in the increasingly expensive, housing-starved city.
If a new lawsuit filed against the city is successful, Seattle will have to pay out twice that amount for actively stopping the construction of a housing project.
...Currently occupying Forbes' property is famed Seattle music venue the Showbox, which would have to be demolished to make room for the proposed apartment building.
When word got out about the threat to the Showbox, a vocal crowd of supporters and local musicians demanded the city save the venue by any means necessary.
Their cause was quickly picked up by Seattle City Council, which slapped together emergency legislation to include the Showbox, and just the Showbox, in the nearby Pike Place Market Historical District, effectively scuttling any plans to build housing on the property.
...The city council's actions in this case are gallingly reckless.
...It also undermines the confidence of developers, who must now worry that their next project with the city may be scuttled after enough community protest or outrage.
That's a risk that Seattle, with its consistently rising housing costs and rising homelessness, can ill afford to take."
Fascinating visit to the deranged minds of liberal electeds.
