World Faces "Uphill Battle" With Average IQ Of Just 82! | Zero Hedge
"David Becker has released a new version of the World’s IQ.
Each country has a score showing the cognitive abilities of their citizens, this being a blend of genetics and the environment of each country, particularly as regards education and health.
The world’s global score is 82.
This is 12th percentile rank on the Greenwich Mean Intelligence benchmark of IQ 100.
As school teachers used to say in end of year reports: “Could do better”.
What does IQ 82 mean in practical terms?..."

Amazon Workers Record and Share What You Say Around Alexa, Reports Say | The Daily Caller:

Amazon’s Alexa needs more human assistance than the public may be aware of. Full-time Amazon workers spend their days “parsing as many as 1,000 audio clips per shift,” reports from Bloomburg reveal. These clips may merely be innocent phrases intended to help Alexa cope with slang and understand human speech patterns, but they also catch snippets of personal life through Alexa, such as clips workers discussed wherein they heard a woman singing off-key in the shower and a child crying for help.

College Wouldn’t Cost So Much If Students and Faculty Worked Harder - WSJ

College Wouldn’t Cost So Much If Students and Faculty Worked Harder - WSJ:
See the source image"I assign far less reading, demand less writing, and give higher grades than I did two generations ago.
One reason college is so costly and so little real learning occurs is that collegiate resources are vastly underused.
Students don’t study much, professors teach little, few people read most of the obscure papers the professors write, and even the buildings are empty most of the time.
...Surveys of student work habits find that the average amount of time spent in class and otherwise studying is about 27 hours a week.
The typical student takes classes only 32 weeks a year, so he spends fewer than 900 hours annually on academics—less time than a typical eighth-grader...
It wasn’t always this way.
...Learning takes time, so the diminution of effort surely means students are learning less..."

Progressivism is a skinwalker---Michael Smith--Fans of Best of the Web Today

Image result for skinwalkerFans of Best of the Web Today-Michael Smith
"One important aspect we should clearly understand is that progressivism is a skinwalker.
Navajo legend tells us that skinwalkers were medicine men who achieved the heights of power such that they could transform into animal forms to do evil.
Progressive skinwalkers are racists, sexists and bigots who transform themselves into innocent, pure doves in order to call others racists, sexists and bigots.
Skinwalkers are vulnerable to one thing - the truth.
Those who do track a skinwalker and learn of their true identity must pronounce the name of the evil one in full.
Once this happens, the skinwalker will get sick or die for the wrongs they have inflicted against others."

Democrats’ Equality Act would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to make “sexual orientation and gender identity” protected characteristics under federal anti-discrimination law. Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls.

Review The Dates: Mueller Special Counsel Shaped Prosecution of Obama Lawyer Greg Craig… | The Last Refuge
"There is considerable interest surrounding a federal indictment (full pdf below) of President Obama legal counsel Greg Craig today for lying to federal investigators about his lobbying efforts for Ukraine.
However, some of the details within the indictment are being conveniently glossed over.  First the DOJ announcement:
WASHINGTON – A federal grand jury today returned an indictment charging Gregory B. Craig... for willfully falsifying and concealing material facts from the FARA Unit, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001(a)(1), and for making false and misleading statements to the FARA Unit, in violation Title 22, United States Code, Section 618(a)(2). (more)
OK, so he lied to federal investigators, right?
But what’s missing from the DOJ release, that can only been caught if you actually read the indictment, is that his lies were to Robert Mueller and the special counsel.
Now, take a look at the dates:
Mr. Craig was caught lying on October 19th, 2017.
Why wasn’t Greg Craig charged by the special counsel at the same time Mueller, Rosenstein and Weissmann were prosecuting Manafort or Flynn?
Why the delay?
Even more interesting…. why hand it off?
The Section 1001(a)(1) charge is the same exact charge applied to Michael Flynn a month later.
Why did Mueller, Rosenstein and Weissmann chose to avoid Greg Craig, pass off his case, then turn around and charge Michael Flynn with the exact same violation?
What we see here is a transparent political effort to enhance the Section 1001(a)(1) charge against Flynn (Team Trump), by hiding the Section 1001(a)(1) against Craig (Team Obama).
How long did Mueller, Rosenstein and Weissmann sit on the Craig evidence before turning it over to the DC prosecutors?
...Unsealed today, April 11, 2019.
Why?
Politics.
That’s why..."

Mexican-American Trump Supporter Attacked for Wearing MAGA Hat

Mexican-American Trump Supporter Attacked for Wearing MAGA Hat
"A Hispanic Trump supporter was attacked and called a racist at a post office in Chula Vista, Calif., by a fellow customer who was triggered by her “Make America Great Again” hat.
Paloma Zuniga said she was dropping off some packages at the USPS office on Saturday when "this mad woman cursed at me and told me I should be ashamed for wearing that hat" as she walked by.
Zuniga, who is a dual U.S. and Mexican citizen, told PJ Media by email that she then turned on her cellphone and started recording because "we go through this abuse often and I wanted others to see how violent they are while we just mind our own business."
Zuniga said many Hispanics support the president because they believe in the American Dream.
The Trumpophobe, a woman with short-cropped hair and black shorts, reacted very aggressively.
"Don't touch me and don't record me!" she spat. Turning toward the postal worker at the counter, she demanded, "Can you tell her not to record me? That's against the law." She then lunged toward Zuniga and appeared to swipe at her cellphone.
"Don't touch me! Don't touch me," Zuniga cried during the assault.
"I have a right not to be recorded!" the woman exclaimed.
"I have a right not to be harassed! You have no reason to harass me just because of my hat!" cried Zuniga.
The belligerent woman demanded that the clerk call his supervisor.
"It doesn't matter! You have no reason to harass me just because I'm wearing a Trump hat!" Zuniga repeated. "What is wrong with you?!"
"I didn't harass her," the woman told the clerk.
"Yes, you did!" Zuniga exclaimed.
"I saw it," the clerk said..."

The police were called to the scene and Zuniga filed an incident report. She told PJ Media that she has not yet heard back from the San Diego Police Department.

“I honestly don’t think that what has happened today has sunk in yet,” Limbaugh said Wednesday on his national broadcast. “For over two years the entire reason for the existence of CNN and the New York Times and all the rest of these media people was to propel, to amplify, to solidify the idea that Trump colluded with Russia and is therefore an illegitimate president and maybe a traitor, for two years. And they did it with certitude.
