Chris Cuomo demands to know where it says protests must be 'peaceful,' gets a lesson on the Constitution - TheBlaze:
CNN host Chris Cuomo is a law school graduate and licensed attorney — but he apparently does not know what the First Amendment says.
Speaking on his show Tuesday, Cuomo rebuked those who "see the protests as the problem" and demanded that riot critics show him where it says demonstrators must protest peacefully.
"Now too many see the protests as the problem. No, the problem is what forced your fellow citizens to take to the streets: persistent, poisonous inequities and injustice," Cuomo said. "And please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Because I can show you that outraged citizens are what made the country what she is and led to any major milestone. To be honest, this is not a tranquil time."

Attorney General Bill Barr said Monday that the Justice Department has gathered evidence showing that antifa and “foreign actors” are among the groups responsible for the violence undermining peaceful George Floyd protests.
Barr told reporters during a Thursday press conference that there are three separate sets of people taking part in the protests: peaceful demonstrators, looters, and “extremist agitators who are hijacking the protests to pursue their own separate and violent agenda.”

What I would like to emphasize here, however, is that a police officer being fired is often not the end of the story.

Social justice finds its symbol in a plodding man in trousers that do not cover his rear but a bandana that obscures his face carrying a PlayStation 4 under his left arm and three boxes of Nike Lebron Soldier 13s under his right.
But social justice is so much more diverse than just expropriating.
- Someone social justiced the words “Ya’ll Not Tired Yet?” on the Lincoln Memorial (What did that dead, white male ever do for social justice?).
- In Rochester, New York, a man social justiced an elderly woman in the face before social justicing her hair. His friend then social justiced her in the head with a wooden plank.
- Authorities downstate in New York City allege that two lawyers social justiced an NYPD vehicle.
- Another woman who apparently traveled to the city from Catskill also attempted to social justice an occupied cop car but failed when the flame on the rag failed to ignite the gasoline in the bottle.
Social justice attracts people from all walks of life, frequently follows hashtags, and surely finds itself trending on Google.
