How Black Lives Matter activists see the future of urban policing

How Black Lives Matter activists see the future of urban policing

  • This is the cop-free world that Black Lives Matter protesters are dreaming about.

"Social workers and religious leaders would replace officers on the street — and there would be no crimes such as stealing because the community workers would do such a good job helping everyone, fueled by money redirected from local police departments, advocates claim.
Image result for sharia law“Right now, cops don’t just respond to violent crimes; they make needless traffic stops, arrest petty drug users, and engage in a wide range of ‘broken windows policing’ behaviors that only serve to keep more people under the thumb of the criminal-justice system,” reads the Web site for the Minneapolis community coalition MPD150.
...Now, instead of cops — a.k.a. “strangers armed with guns” — mental-health providers, social workers, religious leaders and victim advocates could keep law and order, the MPD150 says.
The activists insist that if there was enough money put into the changeover, society could then become a “place where people don’t need to rob banks.”
Still, a small “specialized class of public servants” to fight crime might be necessary to fight some crime that slips through the cracks, they acknowledge...

Jerry Falwell Jr. apologizes for tweet that included racist photo - Daily Press

  • Jerry Falwell Jr. apologizes for tweet that included racist photo

"Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. apologized Monday for a tweet that included a racist photo that appeared on DEMOCRAT Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook page decades ago.
"After listening to African American LU leaders and alumni over the past week and hearing their concerns, I understand that by tweeting an image to remind all of the governor's racist past I actually refreshed the trauma that image had caused and offended some by using the image to make a political point," he tweeted Monday.
Image result for racist photo northam's medical yearbook pageFalwell, a stalwart backer of President Donald Trump and the son of the late evangelist the Rev. Jerry Falwell, said he had deleted the tweet and apologized "for any hurt my effort caused, especially within the African American community."
...They said they would stop urging students to attend Liberty, would no longer donate to the university and would urge fellow people of faith to avoid speaking at the school unless Falwell changes his behavior or steps aside.
...Falwell tweeted that he was "adamantly opposed" to the mask mandate "until I decided to design my own."
With it, he posted a picture of a mask bearing a racist photo that appeared on DEMOCRAT Northam's medical yearbook page and — when made public last year — sparked a scandal that nearly forced him from office.
The photo showed a person in blackface and another in a Ku Klux Klan costume.

However, he will now carry a scythe instead of a gun and his attacks will be restricted to using sticks of dynamite, booby traps, and dropping heavy objects on Bugs Bunny.

Studies Show There Is No 'Epidemic' of Racist Police

Studies Show There Is No 'Epidemic' of Racist Police
"...Perhaps the most common form of alleged racist police “brutality” we hear about is shootings, particularly those with questionable justification.
To hear some people, there’s an epidemic of racist police brutality and we need to do something about it.
Image result for NO RACIAL BIAS Against Blacks In Police Shootings...But, this all leads to some very important questions.
While we all agree that unjustified police brutality is bad, is there really an “epidemic” of racial bias in police brutality?
It only takes one incident to go viral and serve as a call to arms for thousands of people to protest, but is it a really as big of a problem as people suggest it is?
Looking at the data, the answer might actually be no.
According to a 2019 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, white officers are not more likely to shoot black civilians than black or Hispanic officers are.
...Other studies have reached similar conclusions, including a Harvard study that found no racial bias in police using deadly force, though there is some disparity when it comes to physical force.
With regard to lethal force, however, no disparity exists.
“A solid body of evidence finds no structural bias in the criminal-justice system with regard to arrests, prosecution or sentencing,” explained Heather Mac Donald of the Manhatten Institute in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week.
“Crime and suspect behavior, not race, determine most police actions.”...

See the source image"...TRENTON, New Jersey, June 8, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — The new standards for sex education in public schools of New Jersey push homosexuality and gender ideology, as well as abortion and contraception.
Children are taught about giving “consent” and how to decide “whether and when to engage in sexual behaviors” such as “oral” and “anal sex.”
Abortion giant Planned Parenthood was one of the organizations that had worked with the state’s Department of Education to prepare the new standards.
“Modeled on the National Sexuality Education Standards — the gold standard for sex education — the new guidelines and educational requirements feature an updated, more comprehensive curriculum that includes expanded content topics, including LGBTQ identities and consent,” wrote Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey in a press release...

See the source imageInside Chicago's deadliest day in six decades
"Eighteen people were killed in Chicago in a 24-hour span last month — the deadliest day in the Windy City in roughly six decades, according to a report.
The slayings — including a high school student and a college freshman who aspired to become a correctional officer — occurred on May 31 as the city grappled with ongoing civil unrest in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The grim tally made May 31 the single most violent day Chicago has endured in roughly 60 years, according to data provided to the newspaper by the University of Chicago Crime Lab.
“We’ve never seen anything like it, at all,” the crime lab’s senior research director, Max Kapustin, told the newspaper.
“I don’t even know how to put it into context. It’s beyond anything that we’ve ever seen before.”...

Shaun King makes stunning observation about Democratic Party, 'worst police brutality' - TheBlaze

Shaun King makes stunning observation about Democratic Party, 'worst police brutality' - TheBlaze:

Democratic activist Shaun King made a shockingly honest observation about the Democratic Party on Friday.
King, who is known for his activism around racism and police brutality, denounced "generic" imperatives from leaders that voting is the process by which the black community can receive criminal justice reform.
That is because, as King observed, Democrats control the cities that are guilty of the "worst police brutality."
"Democrats, from top to bottom, are running the cities with the worst police brutality in America right now," King said. "We voted for them."

Wow! Minneapolis City Council President Says Calling the Police on Burglars "Comes from a Place of Privilege" (VIDEO)
"After nearly two weeks of violence, mayhem, and rioting in Minneapolis, the City Council on Sunday voted on their intent to disband the police department.
The wild proposal would invest in “community-led public safety” instead of police officers.
...On Monday Council President Lisa Bender joined Alisyn Camerota on CNN to discuss the plan.
When asked about who people will call if their home is broken into, who to call, Lisa Bender said this:
CAMEROTA: "What if in the middle of the night my home is broken into. Who do I call?"
BENDER: "Yes, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors. And I know — and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege."
