They only know what their commie college professor has to say about it. Or listen to the insane ramblings of the barista who always gets their name wrong on their latte. People who have experienced socialism ALWAYS have horrible things to say about it (see UFC 251'S JORGE MASVIDAL EXPOSES THE TRUTH ABOUT COMMUNISM and VENEZUELAN WOMAN EXPLAINS WHY LEFTISTS TEARING DOWN STATUES SHOULD SCARE EVERYONE). Florida businessman Maximo Alvarez shared some of those warnings during his speech at the RNC convention Monday night.

An eyewitness told The Kyle Olson Show that as many as 20,000 unverified absentee ballots in Detroit were fed through machines and counted during the August 4 primary.
In a segment released exclusively to Breitbart News before airing on Saturday, Michigan Republican Party-appointed poll challenger Bob Cushman said it was chaotic while absentee ballots were being counted in downtown on primary night in Detroit, a city known for voting heavily Democrat:

Virgil: Reparations for Everyone -- What Do We Do If We’re All Victims and Victimizers?
"Who Should Pay?
Who Should Get?
As we all know, talk of reparations for injustice is everywhere.
But here’s a headline, appearing in the British Spectator magazine...: “Italy owes Wales reparations for the wrongs of the Roman Empire.”
The author, one Lloyd Evans—an impeccable Welsh name, that—declared:
Let me add my voice to the clamour on behalf of this island’s indigenous Celtic people. My family are from Llanelli in Carmarthenshire and I believe that my compatriots have an excellent case to make against the Roman Empire.
Yes, Evans said he wants reparations for the Roman invasion of Great Britain, launched by Julius Caesar in 55 BC; it was a bloody business, leading to the subjugation of the island’s Celtic inhabitants, including those in Wales...Read all.

During an interview with Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” on Monday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) reacted to the House of Representatives passage of a U.S. Postal Service bill that if passed would place restrictions on changes made to mail delivery protocol and give the USPS an additional $25 billion in funding.
Hawley called the gesture and effort to “weaponize” the USPS.

I live in Park City. I ordered a cap from the merch site of a favorite author of mine, Jack Carr, who also lives in Park City. The cap was shipped from Park City and this place is small enough that pretty much every location within my 84060 zip code and the 84098 zip (considered Park City but not within the city limits) is within a 10 minute radius of my house - so here is the actual tracking info of the package from the USPS:

Memorization Is Still a Necessary Skill | Intellectual Takeout

Memorization Is Still a Necessary Skill | Intellectual Takeout
Image result for Memorization Is Still a Necessary Skill"With another school year about to start, here’s a bit of advice from a recently retired college history teacher.
Beware of teachers whose opening day gambit assures all new students that they have little or nothing to worry about on the following front: none of that dreaded memory work will be asked for, much less required, in this course. (Hooray, hooray!!)
If you hear something like that from your instructor/professor, you can certainly be sure that the individual who is theoretically in charge of the class is doing his or her best to make nice.
It’s also a good bet that something else, something larger and more damaging, is going on: you’re essentially being told that memorization is old-fashioned, passé, and otherwise beside the point.
...In fact, I would add that if you had a teacher spouting that first day “make nice” pablum with which I began this essay, you should be aware that one or two additional things likely just happened: either you were just lied to or it should have immediately dawned on you that you were embarking on a college course that had minimal substance to it.
Or both...Read all.

In the lab, we can prove a PCR assay can detect very small amounts of the coronavirus.
But when we move out into the real world, things get a little more complicated.

Imagine the media melt-down if a monopoly business tried this scam!-----Schools Use Empty Classrooms for Day Care to Double Charge Parents | Intellectual Takeout

Schools Use Empty Classrooms for Day Care to Double Charge Parents | Intellectual Takeout
"Normally when a business shuts its doors, it doesn’t still get to charge its customers for a product they can no longer access.
It certainly doesn’t get to charge its customers twice for the privilege.
Yet, that’s exactly what we’re seeing from some public school districts.
They refuse to open their doors for in-person learning – citing safety risks – but they are able to open these same school buildings to charge overworked and tired parents for day care.
This is double-dipping into parents’ pocketbooks, and it likely runs afoul of state constitutions ...Read all.
