Their demands — which sharply cut against President Joe Biden's liberal environmental policy goals — simultaneously exposed the Biden administration's ignorance of the complexities associated with oil production. The Financial Times claimed oil companies have not heeded the demands, but Bob McNally, the head of consultancy at Rapidan Energy, said something else is behind lagging production.

McNally, in fact, told the Financial Times the Biden administration was painfully unaware that oil production is not an overnight process.

Watch: Shoplifters Hit Grocery Store in Nation's Capital as Crime Crisis Worsens
"A Giant grocery chain location in Northeast Washington, D.C. — roughly one mile from the United States Capitol — was among the latest to be hit by apparently brazen thieves who quickly yet calmly empty shelves into carts and plastic bags before apparently making their way through the door without paying.
...The video tweeted out in Tuesday’s early afternoon hours shows a crew of at least three bandits wearing ski masks loading laundry detergent pods into a cart already containing what appears to be mayonnaise, salsa, and a jar of pickles.
Another fills a plastic trash bag with bottles of detergent and the third caught on video jogs down the aisle with a reusable shopping bag, presumably also filled with pilfered goods.

Pennsylvania Dem Says ‘Diseased’ GOP Must Be ‘Cleansed’ After Preaching ‘Unity’
"Pennsylvania Democratic congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan has attributed her past electoral success to her focus on "civility" and "unity."
Now, she says the Republican Party is "diseased" and must be "cleansed."
Houlahan's comments came during a May 27 appearance on the Daily Beast‘s The New Abnormal podcast, which saw the congresswoman disparage Republicans as deplorable and anti-democratic.
"This is, in my opinion, a diseased Republican Party. And it needs to be cured and cleansed," Houlahan said.
"So the stakes of having a Republican, as an example, in my seat are more than just policy differences. They are democracy, in my opinion."..."

To put that number into context, this is equivalent to the emissions from about 870 cars, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency..."
