Something Snaps In The US Labor Market: Full, Part-Time Workers Plunge As Multiple Jobholders Soar | ZeroHedge
  • Something odd emerges when looking at the June payrolls report.
"On one hand, the closely followed establishment survey came in red hot, and despite dropping modestly from May, it still printed some 100K above the median consensus expectation, at 372K vs the median consensus of 268K...

... but a problem emerges when looking at the more detailed, if less closely watched, Household survey.
Here, unlike the Establishment Survey, the June jobs change was actually a striking 315K drop, and after the April plunge of 353K, the June drop was actually the biggest going back to the March 2020 crash...

Scientists Skeptical of Anthropogenic Global Warming | Facebook: Paul Baron III
"Throughout time, history records how men & women from all professions, have been easily coerced & motivated by greed, fame, recognition, peer pressure, & pride in addition to a number of other motivational factors in their work -- scientists are no different.
However, this is not to say *all* scientists are corrupt either.
  • There are many fine astute intelligent men & women in scientific fields of study that are honest & value integrity above all.

San Fran schools used over $500K marked for improvements to fight mural legal battle | The College Fix
"...Regarding the former, the San Francisco Chronicle reports the district used over half a million dollars slated for facility improvements to cover legal costs associated with a lawsuit.
After the school board had voted to paint over the mural of the first U.S. president at George Washington High School because it was “offensive and demeaning to Native Americans and African Americans,” a school alumni association sued. (The board later opted to merely cover the mural with curtains.)..."

Former top FBI official openly questions efficacy of red-flag laws after Highland Park: 'Really calls into question' - TheBlaze

"The heart of what we have been talking about a lot lately [is] these red-flag laws," McCabe said. "So, you know, [there] has been a lot of excitement over the fact that the recent national legislation provides incentive to the states to institute red-flag laws. "If we have yet another situation where we have a mass shooter who is putting out plenty of signals that possibly his network of associates and family knew about, but yet no word was a ever passed on to law enforcement, really calls into question how effective can these red flag laws possibly be," he added.

Stop telling kids that climate change will destroy their world

Stop telling kids that climate change will destroy their world
  • Some “climate anxiety” is the product of telling kids — falsely — that they have no future.
"My 5-year-old daughter is now old enough to read a lot of books and magazines aimed at children, and it’s given me a whole new perspective on the discourse wars over how we talk about climate change, conservation, and the future of the planet.
  • As I’ve written about before, climate change is going to be bad, and it will hold back humanity from thriving as much as we should this century. It will likely cause mass migration and displacement and extinctions of many species.
