"Where do we get such men?" ("The Bridges at Toko-Ri")-----Chinook Pilot takes a headshot... then flies the thing home.

"Watch as the British pilot (Flight Lieutenant Ian Fortune) of this Chinook takes multiple hits, including a glancing shot to his own head, on a troop extraction run in Afghanistan.
This is the definition of a hero."

Peter Doocy bulldozes through Jean-Pierre spin after gas prices start to climb again - TheBlaze

Fox News journalist Peter Doocy bulldozed through the Biden administration's narratives on gas prices during the media briefing with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. President Joe Biden (D) had declared victory on lowering gas prices months ago but has grown quieter after a recent surge in pricing again.

Experts say Trump, election deniers eroding trust in democracy. Can it be restored? - ABC News
  • An ABC News\Washington Post poll conducted in January -- more than a year after the insurrection -- found only 20% of those surveyed saying they're very confident about the election system. Even fewer Republicans, just 13%, said they were very confident in the process...
  • That's in large part due to Donald Trump, Burden and other elections observers said, as well as his GOP allies who continue to emphatically spread falsehoods about the integrity of the 2020 election.
  • In fact, 60% of Americans will have an election denier on the ballot this November. Out of 541 total Republican nominees running for office, FiveThirtyEight found 199 who've fully denied the legitimacy of the 2020 election...

'Green Goblin Gang' Of Women Sporting Neon Bodysuits Attack And Rob Teenagers On NYC Subway Train
  • While traveling on a Times Square subway train at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, a crew of six women wearing full neon green bodysuits assaulted and robbed two 19-year-old girls.
  • In the video, you can clearly see the women ganging up on the two girls, and at one point, one of the victims takes several punches to the face, while the other looks to be dragged down to the floor.
  • Now, in the more extended version of the video uploaded to YouTube, you see the train is stopped, no transit authority in sight, but there are a ton of bystanders, with only one brave guy stepping in to help...

Politifact's fact' check on Ron DeSantis is bullplop - Louder With Crowder

Consider this Exhibit Q on how self-proclaimed "independent" "fact" checkers don't check facts as much as circle the wagons on behalf of Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself). At issue is the desperate attempt to use Hurricane Ian as an excuse to attack Ron DeSantis, which Politifact is happy to help with. Or, try to help. Long story short, leftists and the media (again, I repeat myself) are desperate to turn Hurricane Ian into a "Hurricane Katrina" for DeSantis, where they blame him for the hurricane's destruction. What they are holding on to is Lee County and that the county didn't issue a mandatory evacuation order early enough. DeSantis was quick to shut this down:

  • But if you just read these examples one by one, however outrageous they may be individually, you can lose track of the overall picture. In the big picture, our government, aided and abetted by academics and journalists, is conducting a full scale war on the energy sector of the economy...

Turns Out Biden's Empowering of OPEC Was a Really Bad Idea

Turns Out Biden's Empowering of OPEC Was a Really Bad Idea
  • Today, the OPEC+ cartel announced it’s going to cut production by 2 million barrels a day.
  • This, even after the Biden administration engaged in a “full-scale pressure campaign,” according to CNN, to dissuade our alleged allies in the Middle East to change their minds.
  • As a presidential candidate, Biden called Saudi Arabia a “pariah” state.
"Biden wagered that he could placate his left wing, curbing fossil fuel production while also holding prices in check by pressuring the Saudis and emptying the U.S. strategic reserve, now at a 40-year low.
It was a bad bet...

Count on it!

  • Analysts say it’s been difficult to make wind energy a cost-effective option. The recently passed Inflation Reduction Act does restore a tax credit for onshore wind, but some experts worry it came too late.

Incredibly, this is true!

'Conspiracy theory' criticized by NY Times confirmed one day later: CEO of election-software company arrested for allegedly giving poll worker data to communist Chinese government - TheBlaze

On October 3, the New York Times' Stuart Thompson criticized so-called "far-right election deniers" for a "conspiracy theory" alleging that Konnech, an election software company based in East Lansing, Michigan, had "secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had given the Chinese government backdoor access to personal data about two million poll workers in the United States." Thompson, a "misinformation and disinformation" reporter, suggested that these claims, which allegedly made the CEO of the company cry, were used to "raise doubts about the integrity of American elections." The NY Times piece ended in a quote from the company's 51-year-old Chinese-born CEO, Eugene Yu: "They had no interest in the truth. ... The truth is inconvenient."
