Will Someone Please Wake Me From This Nightmare? - American Thinker
- When Joe Biden became president, America was on a solid footing, inflation was under control, we were energy independent, the price of gasoline was under $2.00, and things in America were great.
But the present nightmare is no dream, and things are only getting worse in America.
Will someone please wake me from this nightmare?
- While Trump was president, nearly 500 miles of wall were built and immigration was controlled. Biden has opened the border and invited all to come, and they are coming by the millions.
- When Biden became president, America was energy independent and we were even selling energy abroad. Biden stopped construction of oil pipelines, stopped drilling on public lands, and began a campaign against fossil fuels, the very product that has made America great. Will someone please wake me from this nightmare?...
Fake programs paid with school/government money going directly to pockets of race-scammers----Civil rights complaint filed against NYU for whites-only anti-racism workshops | The College Fix
At issue is NYU’s “From Integration to Anti-Racist Workshop Series,” first reported by the Washington Free Beacon:
The all-white seminar, “From Integration to Anti-Racism,” cost $360 to attend and met six times between February and June, according to a description of the program that has since been scrubbed from the university’s website without explanation. Organized by NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education, the workshop was “designed specifically for white public school parents” committed to “becoming anti-racist” and building “multiracial parent communities.”But to promote solidarity with all races, participants were told, it was necessary that the seminar include only one...

Shot: Is Bezos Employee Jennifer Rubin Auditioning For a Job At The Babylon Bee?
—Newsalert, November 3rd, 2021.
Several days after Business Insider admitted they had published inaccurate numbers of state residents that moved to Florida during the COVID-19 pandemic, Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin cited them and used them in an attack piece about Gov. Ron DeSantis’, R-Fla., leadership of the state....
* * * * * * * *
Despite Business Insider admitting its original claim was contrary to the actual numbers, Rubin published the debunked fact in her piece three days later.
On Saturday afternoon, the Post offered a correction to Rubin’s column, admitting to “mischaracterizing” the numbers: “A previous version of this article mischaracterized Floridians’ state-to-state migration in 2021. According to the Census Bureau, more people moved into Florida than any other state that year. This version has been corrected.”
—Fox News, yesterday.
Much of what Rubin writes these days is unintentionally satiric, but to be honest, I trust the reporting at America’s Newspaper of Record much more than the vast majority of the WaPo’s output. - Ed Driscoll

Endless tales of woe-----Student loans ‘not going anywhere,’ frustrating recent Michigan college grads
- ANN ARBOR, MI - Student loan forgiveness was never going to last forever, said Nicholas Finn, a 2017 University of Michigan graduate. He knew he needed to plan for its eventual end. Coming to Ann Arbor from Shelby Township a decade ago, the communications and marketing major took out $40,000 in loans...“Groceries are more expensive than they were three years ago, as well as other stuff,” he said. “Our savings will definitely slow down.”...

When Ray Charles culturally appropriated Eddy Arnold
The Bezos Post reported, “Tracy Chapman, Luke Combs and the complicated response to Fast Car.
“Combs’s remake of Chapman’s 1988 hit now dominates the country charts, renewing difficult conversations about diversity in Nashville.”
Difficult conversations is dog whistle racism by Bezos and his Post — at least according to my cat. I cannot hear dog whistles.

THIS IS CNN
THIS IS CNN: CNN Deceptively Edits RNC Chair To Paint Her as a Conspiracy Theorist.
...Wallace owes viewers and explanation. He knew what McDaniel was talking about on Tuesday, but based off his answers to Coates, he doesn’t care. CNN’s dishonest editing didn’t just allow it to spread a false narrative about McDaniel, it allowed others to do the same. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes panned McDaniel on Thursday as someone who “just can’t say the straightforward sentence.” While secretary and Friday Way Too Early guest host Ali Vitali added, “And of course we will again underscore the fact president Biden did win the election and he did so fairly”
The fake version also made its way around the internet to Mediaite, the Washington Post, the DNC’s website, and HuffPost.
Why on earth is McDaniel going on CNN in the first place? But if she feels like she must, as Glenn wrote in the New York Post after Charlie Gibson’s deceptively edited interview with Sarah Palin in September of 2008: Bring Your Own Camera. - Ed Driscoll
