More bad news for Fani Willis: Disqualification is back on the menu and state investigators are drilling deep | Blaze Media

This penetrating scrutiny appears to have struck a nerve with Willis, who told local news, "Isn't it interesting when we got a bunch of African American DAs, now we need a daddy to tell us what to do?" "This is really messing up my business," continued Willis. "They can look all they want."

We don't want journalism back - Don Surber

America does not need a cabal of pencil-necked geeks deciding which is right and which is an illusion - Don Surber
"...Twitter has replaced them all by being immediate and allowing all sides to be heard...
The idea of a Trump presidency sent the cabal of pencil-necked geeks running the news business into a frenzy.
On August 7, 2016, in a front-page column...the New York Times announced that for all intents and purposes it formally was abandoning objectivity altogether.
It blamed Trump.
If you’re a working journalist and you believe that Donald J. Trump is a demagogue playing to the nation’s worst racist and nationalistic tendencies, that he cozies up to anti-American dictators and that he would be dangerous with control of the United States nuclear codes, how the heck are you supposed to cover him?
Because if you believe all of those things, you have to throw out the textbook American journalism has been using for the better part of the past half-century..
But the question that everyone is grappling with is: Do normal standards apply? And if they don’t, what should take their place?
Blah, blah, blah.
The newspaper was rationalizing its decision to become a completely propagandist tool of anti-American fascists...

How can these losers rule our campuses?!!-----This Pro-Hamas Student at Princeton Shows How Weak and Soft the Left Is

“This is absolutely unfair. My peers and I, we are starving. We are physically exhausted. I am quite literally shaking right now, as you can see,” - Matt Vespa
"It’s not enough that pro-Hamas mayhem has overtaken college campuses nationwide.
We now have these students, though many are probably professional agitators, going on hunger strikes to protest the war in Gaza.
  • We should put “hunger strike” in quotes since this is intermittent fasting.
  • These kids are taking snack breaks—it’s the weakest sauce hunger strike ever...

Election Integrity Win in Georgia: Election Board Reprimands Fulton County, Will Appoint Monitor for 2024

Election Integrity Win in Georgia: Election Board Reprimands Fulton County, Will Appoint Monitor for 2024

The Georgia Election Board voted Tuesday to reprimand Fulton County for its conduct of the 2020 election and direct the appointment of an independent monitor to oversee this fall’s general election.

The Georgia Recorder reported that the 2-1 vote came after investigators from the Georgia secretary of state’s office confirmed the county double-scanned 3,075 ballots during a statewide recount of the 2020 presidential election.

New research discovers that wind turbines create a ‘turbulent wake’ that can steal almost 40% of energy from other ‘nearby’ turbines By Olivia Murray

The answer is a resounding no.
  • Force conversions to electric vehicles without putting the proper and sufficient charging infrastructure in place? Check.
  • Manufacture millions (billions?) of solar panels with no disposal plan in place? Check.
  • Build countless offshore wind “farms” without conducting studies to determine the impacts? Check.
Jo Nova, who runs an eponymous blog, credited a watchdog organization for discovering this story by Kirk Moore:

Downstream turbulence from offshore wind turbines can reduce power generation at nearby turbines, substantially reducing the total potential from planned U.S. offshore wind projects, according to recent research from the Colorado University Boulder and National Energy Technology Laboratory...

Fact Check: Biden Claimed Inflation was 9% as He Entered Office - Truth Paints a Much Different Story

CNN may be regretting its big interview. Biden has been blasted for giving the fewest interviews of any president in 40 years, Just The News reported. But his penchant for disgorging one lie, false boast, and fake story after another is the reason the White House seems reluctant to let Biden appear before reporters.

"Monorail!"-----The H Stands For Hype - Robert Bryce

The New York Times calls hydrogen a “renewable energy source” and other silliness about using an element that’s “a thermodynamic obscenity”
The history of the hype matters because we live in ahistorical times
Or, as author Jeff Minick explained in 2022, we are plagued by “presentism.”
Presentism, Minick wrote, “is the reason so many young people can name the Kardashians but can’t tell you the importance of Abraham Lincoln or why we fought in World War II.”...

The Climate Cargo Cult

This speech is arguably the greatest speech on science ever presented.  - Julius Sanks
"...Dr Feynman...In 1974 he gave the CalTech commencement speech.
He titled it “Cargo Cult Science.”
This speech is arguably the greatest speech on science ever presented.
  • Why?
  • Because in it, he examines completeness...
For those who are unfamiliar with the Cargo Cult, it appeared in various forms in Melanesia during the early to mid-20th Century.
The best known, and the one to which Dr Feynman refers, was the John Frum Movement
During World War II, these cultists observed the belligerents using aircraft to move cargo, either by air-drop or landing on airstrips.
Wanting this wealth for themselves, though knowing nothing about aviation, they tried to replicate factors they had observed.
As Dr Feynman put it:

During the war they saw airplanes land with lots of good materials, and they want the same thing to happen now. So they’ve arranged to make things like runways, to put fires along the sides of the runways, to make a wooden hut for a man to sit in, with two wooden pieces on his head like headphones and bars of bamboo sticking out like antennas — he’s the controller — and they wait for the airplanes to land. They’re doing everything right. The form is perfect. It looks exactly the way it looked before. But it doesn’t work. No airplanes land. So I call these things Cargo Cult Science, because they follow all the apparent precepts and forms of scientific investigation, but they’re missing something essential, because the planes don’t land.

As Biden's media ignores-----Georgia Election Board dumbfounded after finding out that 3,000 ballots were scanned twice in the 2020 election recount in Fulton County.

The board also revealed that 380,761 ballot images from machine count were “not available.”  - Collin Rugg  @CollinRugg
  • Q: Does Fulton County know why there are not 380,761 ballot images from election day
  • A: As with the investigators we have not been apprised of this allegation. This is the first I'm hearing about it.
General counsel for the secretary of state’s office Charlene McGowan confirmed that Fulton County broke the law in their recount.
“Fulton County used improper procedures during the recount of the presidential contest in 2020.”
  • Despite this, the board refused to approve further investigation.
