New Study Finds Human CO2 Impact Too Weak To Play 'Dominant Role' - Climate Change Dispatch

Geology professor says natural variability still shapes Earth’s climate. - Kenneth Richard
In a new study, geology professor Dr. Wojciech Stankowski has summarized some of the reasons why the prevailing narrative that humans can drive climate change by burning more or less fossil fuels cannot be supported by the evidence.
  • Past natural climate changes such as Greenland’s “temperature increases of up to 10°C within just 50 years” 14,700 and 11,700 years ago confirm that the modern climate change rate (just 0.05°C per decade since 1860) falls well within the range of natural variability.
  • Further, a CO2 concentration change from 0.03% to 0.04% (300 ppm to 400 ppm) is not significant enough to impact temperature change in the global ocean, which covers 71% of the Earth’s surface...

Will Hollywood Ever Get a Clue?

Woke “Snow White” lost a couple of hundred million dollars for Disney, and you might think that would teach Hollywood a lesson. - Kurt Schlichter
You might think Hollywood would try to appeal to normal people with non-woke, quality entertainment and collect bushels of cash.
Of course, you’d be wrong...
  • Hollywood wants to get paid, of course, but Hollywood also wants to be loved, especially by other people in Hollywood.
  • And that’s why they can leave all the money on the table that would’ve been spent by normal Americans going to the movies like we did 20 years ago...

So sad that this would be "news".

Report: Bureaucrats Tried to Stop Trump from Canceling Illegal Aliens' Social Security Benefits

Report: Bureaucrats Tried to Stop Trump from Canceling Illegal Aliens' Social Security Benefits

Government bureaucrats tried to stop President Donald Trump’s administration from canceling Social Security benefits for illegal aliens, including those who were released into the United States by former President Joe Biden, a report details.

More than a dozen current and former Social Security Administration officials leaked various information regarding the issue to the Washington Post, seemingly in an attempt to sow outrage among Americans over Trump’s cancellation of Social Security numbers for more than 6,300 illegal aliens.

Good heaven’s so much misinformation is flying around, regarding the case of Abrego Garcia who was deported to El Salvador.

If you’re as confused as I am, here’s a Cliff’s Notes version of the facts. - Jacques Voorhees
1. Garcia’s an El Salvador citizen, who’s been illegally living in the United States since 2011.
2. He was arrested in 2019, and an immigration judge found the government’s claim that he was an MS-13 member credible enough to deny him bond.
3. The immigration judge also ruled it credible that if Garcia was sent back to El Salvador, a rival gang might kill him—which is what Garcia’s lawyers maintained.
4. That judge therefore ruled that Garcia could be deported, but not to El Salvador.
5. He’s been living in Maryland ever since that ruling.
6. The Trump administration, under the Alien Enemies Act, deported him to El Salvador and El Salvador—under a bilateral agreement with the US—put him in prison...
9. The semantic difference between “facilitate” and “effectuate” is important.  Facilitate means basically clearing any obstacles to his return, such as buying him a plane ticket, admitting him back to the US when the plane arrives, etc...

California University's Underhanded Move Sees DEI Program Saved, Promotion for Its Assistant VP

California University's Underhanded Move Sees DEI Program Saved, Promotion for Its Assistant VP

One of the peculiar things this writer has learned as a somewhat new parent is that you must be as crystal clear as possible when addressing toddlers, lest they twist your words and take the worst possible interpretation of what you just said.

I swore that President Donald Trump’s rules to shut down diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in schools were crystal clear: dismantle these discriminatory practices or face consequences.

But the apparent toddlers at California Institute of Technology found a sneaky way to skirt the mandate, and it’s stunning just how nakedly transparent this all is. They’ve reshuffled their DEI leadership, handed out a promotion, and kept the whole operation intact.

Before weaponizing Russia against Trump, Biden and other Democrats reaped lucrative benefits | Just The News

From the Clinton Foundation to Hunter Biden’s business dealings, prominent Democratic families appeared to benefit from Obama’s reset of relations with Russians, including oligarchs, investment banks and energy giants. - Steven Richards
While Democrats weaponized invented Russia collusion claims in an attempt to sink President Donald Trump’s first term, in retrospect the party’s leaders have often gone soft on Russia when it wanted to reap financial or political benefits for themselves or allies.
  • From the Obama-era "Russian Reset" and
  • Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Skolkovo investment project to
  • Hunter Biden’s business in Moscow and
  • President Joe Biden’s waiving of sanctions against a Russian pipeline,
key Democratic figures reaped political and financial benefits from going soft on Moscow...

Why do we pay so many loons to lie to our children??!!-----‘Colonial dysphoria’ causes ‘distress’ for minority students, professor says - Gabrielle Temaat

The event, hosted by the University of California, Berkeley, was titled “Bridging Decolonial Feminist and Queer Theory, and Materialist Feminist Theory.”
“Colonial dysphoria” causes “distress” for “marginalized” students while “anti-intellectualism” fueled by President Donald Trump’s administration suppresses dissent, a University of Utah professor said during a Tuesday webinar...
  • University of Utah Professor Omi Salas-SantaCruz defined “colonial dysphoria” as “the profound dislocation and distress experienced by marginalized individuals, particularly minoritized populations due to colonial legacies that shape identities and experiences within colonial universities.”...
  • Further exacerbating “colonial dysphoria” is “anti-intellectualism” and what the scholar called the “war on woke.”
“Anti-intellectualism is a growing force undermining academic life, characterized by skepticism toward experts or in a preference for a ‘common sense’ over research,” the professor said...

Cornyn was blunt, in his letter, stating, "I am concerned that the Center, through its for-profit affiliated entity, is attempting to create an enclave that will discriminate on the basis of religion, and, further, is hiding this intent from the public." County planners have not yet been given the paperwork needed to start an evaluation.

This woman says she was a paid protester at a Hands Off Protest. She details what she had to do to get paid:

"I was one of the paid protesters at the April 5th liberal protest, and so I just wanted to come on and talk about my experience, what I had to do to get paid, and how much I got paid.: - Donald Trump For President
So, there were two kind of parts to it.
The first was obviously just showing up...
  • And yeah, I got paid.
  • I got paid $100 for going to the protest, and then I got paid an extra $10 for bringing the sign.
And like overall, it was a pretty good experience, like the people were pretty nice, everyone smelled really good, which like surprised me...

A worthy conversation!

Incompetence as bad as theft!-----Michigan’s outdated food stamp cards cost poor families $846K in stolen benefits

State hasn’t adopted chipped cards six months after fed’s suggestion - Scott McClallen
  • Poor Michigan families had more than $846,856 stolen from them in fiscal year 2025 because the food stamp program in the state hasn’t updated its card technology from magnetic stripes to chips.
  • This lax security protocol allows criminals to drain food stamp accounts, sometimes from halfway around the world...
The state health department hasn’t responded to multiple inquiries in the last three weeks about why it hasn’t upgraded its security via chipped cards or how much it would cost...
