DOJ Works with Deep Red State to End Key Benefit for Illegal Immigrants: 'This Law Was an Insult'

DOJ Works with Deep Red State to End Key Benefit for Illegal Immigrants: 'This Law Was an Insult'

A Texas program that allowed illegal immigrants to pay the same rate as state residents when attending public colleges has been discontinued after the federal government intervened.

The law took effect in 2001, according to the Associated Press, at a time when various policy efforts were being directed at so-called “Dreamers,” who were children when their illegal immigrant parents entered the United States.

Democrats have always been the party of the Confederacy!-----Why Is Governor Newsom Going Full Jefferson Davis?- Victor Davis Hanson

What triggered the American Civil War were state officials who refused to honor federal law and instead boasted of their open defiance of Washington. - Clarice Feldman
That precedent apparently is the incendiary model for the weird, but dangerous recent behavior of an increasingly unhinged California Governor Gavin Newsom.
  • He is currently supporting the often-violent protestors in Los Angeles and their resistance to federal officials’ enforcement of immigration laws.
  • Newsom claimed that Trump’s use of ICE to detain those here illegally in the U.S. was “reckless”, “chaotic” and “eroding trust”.
Does he think that his own rhetoric is creating calm and building trust by opposing the lawful enforcement of federal statutes?
  • Or is he following the baleful model of arch-Confederate rebel Jefferson Davis?
Does Newsom support the similar defiance of fellow resistor Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass?
  • She all but called for official city resistance to the enforcement of federal law, with an added threat, “We will not stand for this." What does Bass...mean by “we”? All of Los Angeles? The LAPD? Will Bass use the LA police to stand against federal officers who are implementing the law and have a constitutional right and indeed requirement to enforce federal laws within the states?
Does the governor grasp that his reckless states’ rights rhetoric empowers violent protestors who torch cars, pelt passersby, and assault officers?
  • Take, for example, fellow California Democrat, Congresswoman Norma Torres. She just messaged federal immigration officers with the obscene threat,“Get the f--- out of LA.” Does Torres believe that Los Angeles should become a modern-day South Carolina of 1861, boasting that it will defy the federal government?
  • Is Torres echoing Democrat and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries? He just boasted that he would dox endangered ICE agents, publishing their personal information and revealing their identities (“Every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified.”). How exactly does Rep. Torres think she is going to get federal officers “the f--- out of LA”? Does Torres consider the now outnumbered and often threatened ICE officers to be the modern versions of surrounded federal troops at Fort Sumner?
Trump recently was merely following the precedent of the Obama administration that first issued such warnings of cut-offs to educational institutions that might not abide its own Title 9 federal policies and directives...

American workers in peril: How 1 foreign government is engineering largest U.S. job loss ever * WorldNetDaily * by Amanda Bartolotta

While automation and AI are conveniently blamed, hardcore reality comes into view when companies routinely cite "cost-cutting" and "corporate restructuring" – phrases that are often euphemisms for laying off American workers while hiring more foreign workers at lower wages.

At the same time, the government of India is openly celebrating the launch of its latest scheme to supercharge the export of Indian workers to the U.S. and other "high-income economies." Its goal is to facilitate the global mobility and employment of millions of migrant Indian workers directly at the expense of jobs for Americans.

Clarice Feldman -ANTI-ICE PROTESTS ARE A NATIONWIDE EFFORT

I looked into the organizers behind yesterday's San Antonio, TX protest. DataRepublican (smallr)@DataRepublican
While the media spotlight was fixed on LA yesterday, anti-ICE protests were also staged in other cities.
At@SarahCensored’s request, I looked into the organizers behind yesterday's San Antonio, TX protest.
  • There, the protest was coordinated by the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), the same group who also ran.
  • This was a coordinated nationwide effort, backed by Neville Singham—a billionaire Communist who bankrolls pro-CCP propaganda around the globe through his Justice and Education Fund.
This is not merely a local effort or a Newsom effort.
This was nationwide.
Who are the masterminds behind this?

What began as a so-called "spontaneous protest" against ICE enforcement operations in Los Angeles has now been exposed as something far more insidious: a well-funded, coordinated riot, with ties to radical left-wing organizations, government-backed NGOs, and even a billionaire known for pushing Chinese Communist propaganda.

‘Could be twice or 10 times more’...
The agency’s audit showed “a lack of traceable spending” over the past seven years — partly because of an oddball accounting practice in which the bank accounts for its climate financing at the time of a project’s approval rather than at the time of project completion, according to the report released in 2024.
  • “This is like asking your doctor to assess your diet only by looking at your grocery list, without ever checking what actually ends up in your fridge,” said Kate Donald, the head of Oxfam’s Washington DC office.
  • A World Bank insider, speaking on condition of anonymity, suggested the figure for the missing money “could be twice or 10 times more.”
  • “All the figures are routinely made up,” the source said. “Nobody has a clue about who spends what.”...

'The Mask Came Off': Scott Jennings Lures CNN Panel Into Admitting They Want Americans to Fund Illegal Aliens' Health Care

'The Mask Came Off': Scott Jennings Lures CNN Panel Into Admitting They Want Americans to Fund Illegal Aliens' Health Care

CNN pundit Scott Jennings got a panel full of progressives to admit that they want free healthcare for illegal aliens, and it wasn’t particularly hard to do.

Jennings shared the clip of the exchange Friday on X, noting to his followers that “the mask came off live on the air last night” with respect to Democrats and their priorities.

In the clip, Democratic congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh and former Democratic state lawmaker Bakari Sellers made frantic and emotional arguments for their bizarre stance, and if anything, Jennings seemed to enjoy watching their arguments crumble in real time.

Marc Thiessen: Trump WH Has Figured Out How To Blow Up Democrats' Sanctuary City Policies | Video | RealClearPolitics

Marc Thiessen commented on the Trump administration's new strategy for dealing with sanctuary cities on this week's "FOX News Sunday" panel - Tim Hains
MARC THIESSEN: Two elections now, Donald Trump has beaten the Democrats, powered by illegal immigration, and they still can’t seem to get it right.
  • You have people literally burning cars, throwing rocks at ICE agents, and the Democrats are siding with the protesters over the administration trying to restore law and order.
And what has the left riled up, and what’s causing all this, is that the Trump administration has figured out a way around sanctuary city laws.
  • Local officials can refuse to honor an ICE detainer, but they can’t refuse to honor a federal felony warrant.
  • So the Trump administration has this thing called Operation Guardian Angel, where they are charging illegal migrants who reenter the country with felony illegal reentry, and then they are presenting the local jurisdictions with federal felony warrants, and they have to hand them over.
So they’ve been handing over hundreds of illegal migrants to ICE, and this has set people off—they found a way to basically lock the sanctuary city policies...

16 Things That Everyone Needs To Know About The Extremely Violent Far-Left Revolution That Just Erupted In Los Angeles

We were warned that an internal revolution started by the communists would be coming. - Michael Snyder
We were also warned that the summer of 2025 would be a “summer of chaos” in the United States.
So the truth is that what happened in Los Angeles over the past few days shouldn’t be a surprise to any of us.
The next couple of years are going to be a time when the far left in this country gets crazier than they have ever been before
What we have just witnessed is only the beginning.
So buckle up and hold on tight because things are only going to get wilder from here.
  • The following are 16 things that everyone needs to know about the extremely violent far-left revolution that just erupted in Los Angeles…
#1 The protests in Los Angeles have been extraordinarily violent. It is being reported that objects were being thrown at police vehicles, and at one point a car was set on fire in the middle of an intersection…

KTLA video footage shows lines of law enforcement officers standing in the streets as protesters taunted them, while others blocked a roadway and threw objects at police vehicles. In addition, a car sitting in the middle of an intersection was seen engulfed in flames:

#2 The mainstream media has generally been downplaying this fact, but it has been confirmed that “multiple federal law enforcement officers” have been injured by the protesters

The goal isn’t cryptocurrency innovation or financial empowerment. It’s control. Meta doesn’t just want to host transactions. It wants to be the rails, the protocol, the silent layer under every payment, tip, and subscription. If he pulls this off, Meta won’t just know what you watch; it will know what you buy, what you send, who you support, and what causes you can’t fund. That’s right, can’t. This is where it gets dangerous.

Once Meta controls the rails, it doesn’t need to censor. It just needs to interrupt the flow. No bans. No headlines. Just stealthy throttling. A creator doesn’t get paid. A fundraiser gets flagged. A dissident sees his transactions “delayed for review.”
