Trillions on pills, not prevention: The chronic disease cover-up | Blaze Media

Today, 60% of the American population have at least one chronic disease, and roughly 85% of the nation's $5.3 trillion annual health care spending goes toward treating chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease, and cancer. We know that the number-one factor in chronic disease is poor diet, and yet the government has long pushed the very highly processed foods that make us sick, while promoting pharmaceutical drugs as the magic answer.

Absolute MUST READ ALL!!-----Tylenol and Autism: More to the Story - American Thinker

Tylenol and Autism: More to the Story - American Thinker - Joan Swirsky
In 2020, the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that one in 36 children (approximately four percent of boys and one percent of girls) was estimated to have autism-spectrum disorder...
Besides the pros and cons, disturbing facts emerged, not the least of which is that the FDA knew about the Tylenol-autism link over a decade and a half ago...but did nothing!
Talk about “follow the money”!...
In the early 1980s, it was common for only one or two out of the ten women in my classes to have a sonogram.
In just a few years, every woman in my classes had had a sonogram.
And in the late ’80s and ’90s, almost every woman had not one sonogram, but often two or three or four or five — starting as early as three or four weeks’ gestation and extending, in some instances, right up to delivery!
It was in the ’90s, in fact, that it occurred to me that the scary rise in the incidence of autism might be linked to the significant rise in ultrasound exams...
  • In August 2006, Pasko Rakic, M.D., chair of Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Neurobiology, announced the results of a study in which pregnant mice underwent various durations of ultrasound. The brains of the offspring showed damage that was also found in the brains of people with autism.
  • The research, funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, also implicated ultrasound in neurodevelopmental problems in children, such as dyslexia, epilepsy, mental retardation, and schizophrenia, and showed that damage to brain cells increased with longer exposures.
  • Dr. Rakic’s study, Rodgers said, “is just one of many animal experiments and human studies conducted over the years indicating that prenatal ultrasound can be harmful to babies.”

Trump Proved ‘Experts’ Wrong About Tariffs

All of the geniuses who predicted that tariffs would cause a recession were full of BS. - David Catron
Last April, Paul Krugman wrote the following about the reciprocal tariffs President Trump had just announced: “This is a much bigger shock to the economy than the infamous Smoot-Hawley tariff of 1930.”
  • Krugman trotted out that trite analogy not because he really believed Trump’s tariffs were comparable to Smoot-Hawley, but because he knew his Substack subscribers would vaguely recall reading about the latter in high school and feel intelligent.
  • Six months later it’s blindingly obvious that Trump was right about the tariffs and Krugman’s portentous predictions were utterly moronic.
The U.S. is the largest consumer market on Earth.
We could bankrupt most nations overnight by refusing to buy their exports...

University adds ‘trigger warning’ to James Bond novel ‘Dr. No

Now the University of Portsmouth in the U.K. has included the Bond novel “Dr. No” on a list of 50 books that have trigger warnings - Dave Huber - Associate Editor
“Please note: James Bond films and novels are popular to this day but contain many problematic issues such as racism, misogyny and xenophobia,” the university said. “We will be discussing the problems with this text in all of our seminars.”...
Kinane said he uses content warnings with his students “as an acknowledgement of his ‘awareness of their potential sensitivities.’”

About time we addressed this!-----Senators: Dependence on foreign drug supplies threatens security, health - UPI.com

The United States has grown dependent on foreign drug supplies, particularly from China and India, causing a national security and public health threat - Bridget Erin Craig
That was the verdict when senators on the Special Committee on Aging held a hearing titled "Bad Medicine: Closing Loopholes that Kill American Patients" to assess challenges and potential solutions to the country importing 83% of the top-100 generic drugs.
  • "With the vast majority of our generic drugs and their ingredients, Communist China is the world's largest producer of active prescription drug ingredients, and India relies on Communist China for approximately 80% of the active drug ingredients that are used in drug manufacturing," said Chairman Rick Scott, R-Fla.
  • Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., concurred...

“I spent years as a mortgage banker at Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage), the number one mortgage lender in the country, before I ever went to law school. - Harriett Lublin
“Not trying to make a political point here.
“I spent years as a mortgage banker at Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage), the number one mortgage lender in the country, before I ever went to law school.
So when I see stories like this, I look at them a little differently.
  • How you classify a property as a primary, secondary, or investment home changes everything about the loan.
The down payment, the interest rate, the underwriting, all of it.
  • “Primary or secondary homes can get by with as little as 3 to 10 percent down.
  • “Investment properties usually require 25 percent or more.
“So if you’re a brand new real estate investor with limited cash, there’s a big incentive to call something a ‘second home’ instead of an ‘investment property.’...
What @TishJames is accused of doing is straight-up fraud, lying to secure favorable terms.
Sev Onyshkevych - Exactly. Trump's "crime" was not a crime and his valuation had zero to do with the terms of the loan.
Hers is for real.

Dr. Oz reveals the TRUTH about government shutdown and health care for illegal aliens | Blaze Media

“One of the things we addressed, I think, quite successfully, is the fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid. In fact, some of the points you make like money going towards illegal immigrants — again, it’s not that you’re paying for it in California; it’s that folks are being taxed in Mississippi and Texas and Florida, and that money is being shipped to California,” Oz explains.

US Troops Will Miss Paycheck For First Time In History Thanks to Schumer Shutdown

Active-duty service members are on the verge of missing their next paycheck due to Senate Democrats voting to keep the government shuttered indefinitely. U.S. service members were already temporarily reporting to work without the certainty of being paid on time since the shutdown began on Oct. 1, but the 1.3 million active-duty troops are likely to miss their first paycheck as the funding lapse drags on through next week.
