Not only have conservatives become vanishingly rare in academia, so have centrists.
That’s how complete the left’s dominance is:
  • Even moderates are now a fringe group in academia...

Orwell's Europe - Part I: The European Commission's New, Chilling Censorship Initiative :: Gatestone Institute

In Europe, recently, it was found that a news outlet that had published a speech by US Vice President J.D. Vance has now been accused of journalistic misconduct. - Robert Williams
Revealingly, while Belgium's Press Ethics Council did not trust readers with Vance's speech on the factual lack of freedom of speech in Europe, the Belgian courts had no issues with a magazine column that incited violence against Belgian Jews.
  • On one hand, the public cannot be trusted with information that has not been chewed up and curated for them beforehand, including an unfiltered speech by Vance.
  • On the other hand, screeds inciting violence against Jews are perfectly acceptable, and all at once, out of the blue -- poof! -- suddenly the Belgian judicial system cares about "freedom of speech" if it is spoken by people whose votes are regarded as "necessary."...
The European Commission, the EU's unelected, untransparent, unaccountable executive arm, with Ursula von der Leyen at its helm, is now repackaging this informal brainwashing into a more organized system to ensure that any dissenting opinions are rooted out...

Why do they lie when it's so easy to prove they're lying???

Sports broadcasting blackouts are killing American culture | Blaze Media

While changes to the Kennedy-era law are overdue, there is reason to believe that the law as written does not allow the leagues to act as they have. The text of the law covers professional sporting leagues that engage in “sponsored telecasting of the games.” Telecasting is a specific form of transmission and arguably does not include broadcasts over the internet.

The Hidden ‘Tax’ That’s Bleeding Your Wallet Dry

Americans may be paying a hidden “lawsuit tax” through higher insurance premiums and higher prices for everyday goods, as trucking companies face rising litigation costs from staged crashes, massive settlements and “nuclear verdicts.” - Nick Naulty
  • They argue those costs are especially hitting the trucking industry, where rising commercial insurance premiums can ripple through freight rates, grocery bills, consumer goods and even personal auto insurance premiums...
ATA Chairman Greg Hodgen and a group of trucking industry members met with both the House and Senate Judiciary Committees in April to discuss lawsuit abuse targeting the industry, including
  • staged accidents,
  • forum shopping,
  • third-party litigation funding and
  • frivolous lawsuits..
After hearing about the surge in staged crashes and the roughly $4,200 a year it adds to the average family’s costs, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said he wants to take a closer look at it...

The resolution brings to a close a years-long investigation by Texas' Healthcare Program Enforcement Division, which concluded that TCH fraudulently billed Texas Medicaid for "unallowable and illegal ‘gender-transition’ interventions," Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote in a Friday statement.

"Under the terms of this landmark agreement, Texas Children’s will establish the first-ever multidisciplinary clinic designed to provide medical care to patients who were subjected to 'gender-transition' procedures," Paxton wrote.

The Three Rs of Mail-In Ballot Fraud - How It’s Done 101

Washington state, one of the nation’s capitals of election corruption, provides us with a treasure trove of information. - Capt. Seth Keshel
  • The foundation of the fraud, as I’ve said for years, is found in the voter roll.
Without a voter roll, with voters forced to come in and present an ID, or meet strict requirements for receiving an absentee ballot, the only avenue of manual fraud available would be the Boss Tweed way of sending people to a voting center claiming to be someone they aren’t with a fraudulent ID card.
  • That would require felonious participation from far more people who would be willing to spend time in the clink.
I also wrote last year about how easy it is to organize a posse to collect ballots in an urban environment, using Orange County, California, as my example:
How Hard (or Easy) is it to Harvest 100,000 Ballots in One Major County?...

Democrats' Top Five Positions That Clash with Biblical Values

Democrats' Top Five Positions That Clash with Biblical Values

As the 2026 midterm elections approach, many Christians are wrestling with an important question: How do modern political platforms align with biblical truth? No political party perfectly reflects the values of Scripture. Both Republicans and Democrats fall short in different ways because all human systems are flawed. Yet for Christians seeking to think biblically about culture and politics, there are several prominent Democratic policy positions today that stand in direct tension with historic biblical teaching. Here are five of the clearest examples.

Catch 22...AGAIN!!-----WA's Spokane County Can Now Hold Property Owners Accountable for Letting Squatters Camp Out

Spokane County, Washington, has had an idea: - Ward Clark
A new ordinance puts property owners on the hook for the cost if the county has to clean up a homeless enclave on their property.

Spokane County now has the authority to recover abatement costs from private property owners if the owners permit encampments that create public health and safety concerns on the estate.

There's one possible downside I can see to all this:
  • Some of the squatters may not be willing to leave a property just because the owner tells them to.
The county code does not seem to hold any exemption for the simple refusal of a property owner's request.
For example, a vacant lot, owned by an elderly man who lives alone; he goes to the encampment, asks the homeless dwelling therein to leave, and they laugh at him and say no. What is he then to do? Try to run them off at gunpoint? Tempting, perhaps, but it's hard to see Spokane County going along with that.

Hageman: Gas prices show why climate shakedowns must end * WorldNetDaily * by Benjamin Roberts, Daily Caller News Foundation

States like New York and Vermont instituted climate superfund statutes to collect money from fossil fuels companies based on alleged harms from their carbon emissions. "They've come up with a very unique theory that because of climate change or global warming being caused, allegedly by our fossil fuel companies. They believe that they can sue them under some kind of a nuisance theory," Hageman continued, referencing the public nuisance justification many activist lawsuits depend on. "But the bill would prevent them from being able to pursue these lawsuits."
