"Poverty shame"?-----School bans 'expensive' jackets due to 'poverty shaming' of students - The College Fix

See the source imageSchool bans 'expensive' jackets due to 'poverty shaming' of students - The College Fix
"A school in the United Kingdom has forbade students from wearing “expensive” jackets because doing so may “poverty shame” other students.
A letter sent by officials from Woodchurch High School in Merseyside informed parents that “pupils will not be permitted to bring in Canadian [sic] Goose and Monclair [sic] coats after the Christmas break.”
Such garb can cost up to $900, according to Reason.
The Independent reports that according to headteacher Rebekah Phillips, parents had asked for the prohibition:
“We are very concerned about the fact that our children put a lot of pressure on parents to buy them expensive coats,” she said. Pupils were attending classes in coats that cost up to £700, she said, adding “a lot of parents at our school cannot afford that”..."

"Suggesting that people from minority groups couldn’t get hired based on their talents alone is what’s racist.
According to the Office of Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas-Austin, hiring people based on merit is problematic because it harms minority groups.
According to an article in The College Fix, the office was launched last month to deal with “the income inequality gap for overlooked communities.”
“The problem is that in the past companies have advocated for a meritocratic way of hiring,” states the “About” page for the office.
...Of course, the idea that companies should not be hiring candidates based on their ability to perform the job is not only insane, it’s also incredibly bad for business..."

WALTER WILLIAMS: We Have An Identity Problem | Daily Wire

WILLIAMS: We Have An Identity Problem | Daily Wire
"...in the past when a person signed up for a Facebook account, "male" and "female" were the only options.
In 2014, Facebook introduced 50 gender options, including intersex, gender nonconforming, non-binary and androgynous.
In addition to the muddying of waters about one's sex, race has become muddied.
...This new liberal agenda allowing flexibility in determining one's identity was used by Rachel Dolezal to land a job as president of the Spokane, Washington, office of the NAACP...
...You might ask, "Williams, what's the problem?
This is America, and people are whomever they say they are."
See the source imageHere's something for you to consider:
For males between the ages of 17 and 21 to pass the Army's fitness test, they must do 35 pushups, do 47 situps and run 2 miles in 16 minutes, 36 seconds. Females in the same age group pass the fitness test by doing 13 pushups, doing 47 situps and running 2 miles in 19 minutes, 42 seconds.
Would it be OK for males who cannot meet the male requirement to claim that they are females?
Suppose a man is convicted and sentenced to a 10-year term at California State Prison, Corcoran. Should he be able to claim that he is a woman and be allowed to serve out his sentence at the California Institution for Women?
...With privileges being determined by race and sex, we need something like South Africa's apartheid-era Population Registration Act of 1950 to define in clear terms who belongs to what race and what sex and thereby prevent race and sex fraud.

Swalwell Suggests Nuking America if Gun Rights Supporters Were to Resist Gun Control Measures

Swalwell Suggests Nuking America if Gun Rights Supporters Were to Resist Gun Control Measures:

Image result for flickr commons images Eric SwalwellRep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.) suggested the United States government would use nuclear weapons in a theoretical war against gun rights supporters who refuse to give up assault weapons.
The Democratic congressman's comments were prompted by a Twitter user's response to an article about Swalwell's call to force gun owners to relinquish assault weapons. The piece recounts how Swalwell "has proposed outlawing ‘military-style semiautomatic assault weapons' and forcing existing owners to sell their weapons or face prosecution."

There Are No ‘Good’ Public Schools : The Other McCain

There Are No ‘Good’ Public Schools : The Other McCain
"Public education in America is a disaster.
If taxpayers had any idea what was being done to children in these government indoctrination centers, they would be outraged.
However, the bureaucrats who run the system are trained in methods of suppressing the sordid secrets of what goes on, and it is only when disaster strikes — e.g., the Parkland massacre — that the public gets a glimpse of the corruption and incompetence that prevails even in allegedly “good” suburban schools. Parents who think it is safe to send their children to public school generally have no inkling of actual conditions inside their child’s school.
Consider what’s happening at Harlandale High School in San Antonio, Texas:
A 9th grader and her family fear for their safety after the Harlandale High School student was jumped just minutes after the last bell rang.
Melissa Serna said when she was on her way to pick up her daughter from school, she got a text saying her daughter had been attacked.
“My thing was just going to the hospital to make sure my daughter was fine,” Serna said. “Because she had suffered from a concussion, she passed out when she was getting the kicks and punches to her head.”
Serna said surveillance and cell phone video captured the assault, showing two female students beating her daughter on school grounds while others watched. Serna said school staff was still on campus but claim they did not see the fight until the students fled...
Watch the video:
What was the motive for this brutal attack on a 14-year-old girl?
Well, it can’t be racism or homophobia, because if that was the motive, there would be a massive civil-rights protest and you’d probably be getting hourly updates on CNN.
Most likely, the motive is that Ms. Serna’s daughter is pretty, and this gang of ugly goons were jealous of her.
But the “Student Code of Conduct and School Board Policy,” you see, doesn’t allow the school to permanently ban these juvenile thugs.
The little monsters have a “right” to attend school and so, after serving a mere three-day suspension, the attackers are back on campus, and this girl “is still being bullied and taunted at school every day.”
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO PUBLIC SCHOOL.
It’s not safe."

“We have been trying to determine what could have caused the drop. What we believe is that in the recount area … I believe those ballots were probably mixed in with another stack. The ballots are in the building. The ballots are in the building,” Snipes said earlier today.
“The ballots are in this building. There would be nowhere else for them to be. But they are misfiled in this building,” she said.
Several hours later Snipes said that her team still has not found the ballots: “I really wanted to go on the record that the votes are in the building. I know that sounds trite. It sounds foolish,” Snipes said.

Swalwell made the comment in response to a May news article on his radical plan that was widely recirculated on Twitter on Friday in which he called for a $15 billion government program to confiscate millions of guns from Americans.

How to steal an election in Michigan (works well in most other states too!)
Buy 1 (from county clerk or Michigan Secretary of State office) most recent Excel spreadsheet of all registered voters in your county. $10. (price may vary)
Buy 1 Excel file of all voters who voted in last major election. Presidential election or a recent BIG ONE like 11/2018. $10.
Spreadsheets will include:

  • Year of birth.
  • Whether voter is automatic AV voter. (AV=Absentee voter.)
  • If voter is not automatic AV but voted AV in last election.
  • Ward/precinct

Spreadsheets are fully sortable, so REMOVE, from the list of ALL REGISTERED VOTERS, those voters who DID NOT VOTE in last major election. (All Registered Voters-Voters who voted in last major election=Registered voters who will not vote in the election you want to steal.)

You now have a list, with almost all the necessary information, of REGISTERED VOTERS who rarely (or never) vote.See the source image

Rubio’s remarks follow French president Emmanuel Macron’s rebuke of nationalism during a centenary commemoration of the First World War Armistice over the weekend, in which he called the ideology a “betrayal of patriotism and “treason.” President Trump declared himself a nationalist during a campaign rally in Houston, Texas with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
“A globalist is a person that wants the globe to do well, frankly, not caring about our country so much,” President Trump said before attendees. “You know what I am? I’m a nationalist. Okay? A nationalist. Use that word.”

Google Cloud is Busted by Russians and Chinese
"Perhaps it is a good thing that Google employees convinced their management not to do business with the Pentagon, thereby pulling out of participating in a $10 billion cloud computing contract called JEDI (Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure).
See the source imageOn November 12th, Google's services were hit by a massive hack allegedly carried out by Russians, Chinese, and Nigerians.
The hack redirected all of Google's search, business, and cloud computing operations through servers run in these countries using a hack called the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
This gave the hackers unprecedented access to extremely sensitive information on users and direct access to any data that was not independently encrypted (one presumes that the typical computer network security protocols were automatically compromised by being run through servers that did not belong to Google).
Even more critically, it gave the three countries complete control over all of Google's operations and data.
While the hack only lasted about an hour and a half, it demonstrated in clear terms just how vulnerable computer networks are and showed that the critical infrastructure could have been taken down, had the hackers wanted to do so..."

Michigan College Cancels ‘The Vagina Monologues’ Because ‘Not All Women Have Vaginas’ – Faithwire
"Leaders at a college in Michigan decided to cancel its production of “The Vagina Monologues” because it’s discriminatory, given “not all women have vaginas.”
The women’s resource center at Eastern Michigan University put the kibosh on the famous production since it caters only to women who have the physical anatomy that accompanies the female sex, according to The Ann Arbor News...
...Those opposed to the drama said they were concerned about the fact that the production excludes some women, namely those who don’t have vaginas...
The resource center issued the following statement on the show’s cancellation:

"We feel that making this decision is in line with the WRC mission of recognizing and celebrating the diverse representations of women on campus along with the overall mission of the Department of Diversity and Community Involvement, in which the WRC is housed, of supporting and empowering minoritized students and challenging systems and structures that perpetuate inequities.
We truly believe that it is important to center our minoritized students and this decision is in line with this mission driven value."
