Why liberals should never be trusted-----Trudeau expresses 'deep sorrow' over Castro's death

Trudeau expresses 'deep sorrow' over Castro's death | TheHill:
"Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday expressed “deep sorrow” over the passing of Fidel Castro, noting his family's connection to the former Cuban dictator.
“Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century.
Image result for trudeau castroA legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation,” Trudeau wrote in a statement.
Castro’s brother Raul announced his death on Cuban state television early Saturday.
Trudeau noted that his father, former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, was “very proud to call him [Castro] a friend.”
The younger Trudeau said he met Castro when his father died.
“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for ‘el Comandante.’ ” Trudeau said.
“We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader,” he added."

"The Witch Is Alive And Well.... Hillary Finds Uncounted Votes On Her Private Voting Machine In Her Basement, And She Hires Jill Stein To Recount Her Votes
Hillary prepares to take back the presidency from Donald Trump after millions of uncounted votes were found on her private voting machine that was in the bathroom at her Chappaqua compound.
More uncounted votes for Hillary were also found on Anthony Weiner's computer.
These votes will be counted during the Wisconsin recount and will pass the presidency back to Hillary where it belongs.
Hillary hires the communist loving Jill Stein to do her dirty work for her and try to get more fraudulent ballots "counted" because she fell short the first time.
Good, it's time to take the gloves off.
Now when Trump takes office, I hope he unleashes unholy hell on her corrupt ass and has HIS DOJ charge her with everything under the sun! I wanna see this lying, corrupt beast behind bars for the rest of her life....

No, you did not, but there were plenty of stories of machines changing Trump votes to Hillary.

Anger Rooms: A Smashing New Way to Relieve Stress

Anger Rooms: A Smashing New Way to Relieve Stress - The New York Times:
"When she was a teenager on the South Side of Chicago in the late 1990s, Donna Alexander fantasized about setting up a space where stressed-out people could relieve their tension in a safe, nonviolent way — by smashing mannequins, televisions, furniture and other objects. She was confident in her idea, but she wasn’t sure how to turn it into a business.
Finally, in the fall of 2008, and by then living in Dallas, Ms. Alexander began an experiment.
Image result for anger rooms She invited current and past co-workers to her garage to pulverize items she had collected from the curbs in her neighborhood.
“I would play music on my laptop and just let them have at it,” she says. She charged $5.
Soon, word of the stress-relief sessions spread throughout Dallas.
“I started getting strangers at my door asking if my house was the place to break stuff,” Ms. Alexander said.
“When that happened, I knew I had a business.”
Over the next few years while she looked for a suitable location for the company, Ms. Alexander accrued a four-month waiting list.
In December 2011, she quit her job as a marketing manager for a steakhouse to officially start the Anger Room in a 1,000-square-foot space in downtown Dallas.
The Anger Room charges $25 for five minutes of crushing printers, alarm clocks, glass cups, vases and the like.
Prices rise to about $500 for custom room setups.
The most expensive setup so far has been a faux retail store, replete with racks of clothing.
Several other anger rooms have popped up around the world, including in Houston, Toronto, Niagara Falls and Australia.
The American presidential election increased business at some anger rooms. Stressed-out voters traveled all the way to Toronto from New York before and after the election, says Steve Shew, co-founder of the Rage Room there.
Customers wrote the name of the candidate they were frustrated with on a plate and smashed it.
At the Anger Room in Dallas, mannequins of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were taking beatings before the election.
Customers demolished two Clinton mannequins, requiring replacements.
But Trump attracted even more ire.
“We’ve gone through at least three of the male mannequins that we have to dress up as Donald Trump,” Ms. Alexander says."

"Oh boy, this has been one stupendously wonderful Thanksgiving weekend so far.
Andrew Breitbart always knew the best way to create SSH (Spontaneous ‘Splodey Heads) was to enjoy life.
Nothing makes a miserable blame-casting leftist more filled with angst and teeth gnashing rage than to see people enjoying life.
The professional white-paper analysts are calling it the Trump effect:
♦ The stock market is soaring;
♦ domestic futures are through the roof;
♦ the KPI economic indicators are all pointing to the cusp of massive economic expansion;
♦ the first 24 hours of holiday sales are exceeding all expectations;
♦ and the consumer confidence index has had the largest single two-week surge in its history.

Fidel’s Flatterers: The U.S. Media’s Decades of Cheering Castro’s Communism

Fidel’s Flatterers: The U.S. Media’s Decades of Cheering Castro’s Communism
"While every other country in the Western Hemisphere moved towards democracy, Cuba remained a one-party state under dictator Fidel Castro, who held power without free elections from 1959 until health problems forced him to step aside in 2006.
Castro’s communist regime executed hundreds of political opponents and drove tens of thousands more into exile; hundreds of dissidents today languish in Cuban prisons.
The U.S. State Department, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch all listed Castro’s Cuba as among the worst violators of human rights on the planet, while the Committee to Protect Journalists condemned the harassment and imprisonment of journalists.
Yet liberals in the U.S. media — who rightly condemned such abuses when perpetrated by dictators such as Chile’s Augusto Pinochet — inexplicably remain enchanted with Castro and his socialist revolution. For more than five decades, positive profiles of Castro have appeared in U.S. papers. Back on January 18, 1959, New York Timesreporter Herbert L. Matthews exulted in Castro’s seizure of Cuba: “Everybody here seems agreed that Dr. Castro is one of the most extraordinary figures ever to appear on the Latin-American scene. He is by any standards a man of destiny.
For almost 30 years, the Media Research Center has documented the liberal media’s infatuation with Fidel Castro and Cuba’s communism. The most laudatory coverage of Castro and his communist revolution’s “achievements” have come when an American news network decides to visit Cuba for an in-depth examination. Invariably, the U.S. networks granted access to Cuba have rewarded the communist government with promotional coverage of both Fidel Castro and the supposed achievements of his revolution:
■ In February 1988, just weeks after the State Department named communist Cuba one of the worst human rights oppressors in the world, NBC’s Today program sent its cameras to the island to investigate. NBC’s conciliatory approach allowed Castro to spew lies about his drug connections and the wonderful achievements of the Cuban revolution. Anchor Maria Shriver gushed: “The level of public services was remarkable: free education, medicine and heavily subsidized housing,” while reporter Ed Rabel was equally promotional: “There is, in Cuba, government intrusion into everyone’s life, from the moment he is born until the day he dies. The reasoning is that the government wants to better the lives of its citizens and keep them from exploiting or hurting one another....On a sunny day in a park in the old city of Havana it is difficult to see anything that is sinister.”
■ “When outsiders think of Cuba, it’s often the lack of political freedoms and economic power that comes to mind. Cubans who have chosen to stay on the island, however, are quick to point out the positives: safe streets, a rich and accessible cultural life, a leisurely lifestyle to enjoy with family and friends....For all its flaws, life in Castro’s Cuba has its comforts, and unknown alternatives are not automatically more attractive....Many foreigners consider it propaganda when Castro’s government enumerates its accomplishments, but many Cubans take pride in their free education system, high literacy rates and top-notch doctors. Ardent Castro supporters say life in the United States, in contrast, seems selfish, superficial, and — despite its riches — ultimately unsatisfying.”
— Associated Press writer Vanessa Arrington in an August 4, 2006 dispatch, “Some Cubans enjoy comforts of communism.”

Language Police Liberals Serve Political Ends with Politically Correct Terms

Language Police Liberals Serve Political Ends with Politically Correct Terms | National Review:
"What would happen if conservatives started to change the words we use for political ends? Throughout history, revolutionaries of all stripes have warped the meaning of words to subvert reality.
And now here we go again, with another effort — spearheaded by the media and universities — to use any linguistic means necessary to achieve political ends.
Image result for 1984 george orwell
  • “Sanctuary city” is a euphemism for the local and state nullification of federal law — a subversive tactic that dates back to the nullification crises during the Andrew Jackson administration and, later, in the years leading up to the Civil War.
This makes a mockery of the simple constitutional principle that cities and states cannot subversively pick and choose which federal laws to obey.
The term “sanctuary” would never apply to conservative jurisdictions that in similar fashion sought to offer “sanctuary” to those dissidents who disobeyed federal gun registration, income tax, or environmental laws.
College administrators boast of offering counseling and therapeutic help to students and faculty members distraught over the recent election.
They use terms like “divisive” and “polarizing” in describing the election, when in truth they wish to hide from their donors, alumni, and half the country their own abject and one-sided contempt for incoming president-elect Donald Trump.
Note that in the highly emotional elections of 2008 and 2012, universities did not offer commensurate counseling services — because their own preferred candidate won and was thus his victory was not “polarizing.”
  • Campus “safe space” is another vocabulary distortion...
  • “Microaggression” is certainly not aggression as usually defined...
Both right-wing Nazi Germany and the left-wing Soviet Union banned old words and created new words that furthered political agendas and warped reality.
Both right-wing Nazi Germany and the left-wing Soviet Union banned old words and created new words that furthered political agendas and warped reality.
  • “Trigger warning” should mean that readers or viewers are advised that literature or media could be obscene or threatening...
  • Next came the term “undocumented immigrant” — on the theory that the ancient word “alien” (from the Latin word alienus, meaning “belonging to another”) is offensive and also unhelpful to the open-borders project.
  • Finally, the ambiguous word “migrant” is being used to suggest that there is really no difference between entering and exiting a country under any circumstances.
The danger of destroying rules of language is that revolutionaries of any stripe can join this crooked game.
What if a right-wing movement wished to redefine “sanctuary cites” as “subversive cities”?
Would it be any more biased to call the sites of university post-election counseling services “progressive lamentation centers”?
...To prevent this endless cycle of corrupting words, members of the media and academia should act as our linguistic guardians.
Instead, for short-term political gain, they have abandoned their professional responsibilities to become our worst subverters of language."

Obama Leaves Behind 'Decimated' Democrat Party And Dark Red Country

Obama Leaves Behind 'Decimated' Democrat Party And Dark Red Country:

"The Democrats are at the lowest in the House than they’ve been since the 1920s. If you look at a map of the U.S., there are about 5,000 counties of which Hillary Clinton won 300. If you draw a map of the country, who went where, it is red from sea to shining sea with these little concentrated, heavily populated pockets of Democrats. "

Ignore demographics

Don Surber: Ignore demographics:"
"For years -- decades -- concern-troll liberals have told Republicans they are doomed unless they start reaching out to various demographic groups.
By "reaching out" they mean pandering like Democrats.
President Trump proved that wrong.
He won election without pandering.
That's because demography does not matter as much as geography does.
We are told that white voters elected Trump.
Image result for trump wins countiesBut the three states with the highest percentage of white people all went to Hillary -- Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
We are told that old people elected Trump.
But three of the four oldest states by median age went for Hillary.
They too are Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. (West Virginia and Florida rank fourth and fifth, respectively.)
The four youngest states all went for The Dionald -- Utah, Alaska, Texas, and Idaho. (Arizona is 12th youngest.)
Places with a vibrant economy said OK to another four years of this crap.
The thirty states with sluggish economies went to Trump.
People are more than their gender, skin color, and ethnicity."

Fake News

Fake News | PJ Media:
"...The reason why Allied deception operations were so effective against Hitler was because Goebbels had reduced German reporting to a lie machine, thereby destroying its credibility.
Allied news, even Allied deception was more believable by comparison.
...If the Washington Post and the New York Times are wondering why fake news is now so effective they must at look in part at their own editorial policies for an answer.
"News" is information from others we believe to be true.
Rumor, by contrast, is information from others whose truth is indeterminate.
Being by definition to be at second hand, the validity of news crucially depends on trust.
The two ways trust is maintained is by consistent subsequent vindication or verification by an independent trusted party.
If the weatherman says expect a storm and the storm nearly always comes the weatherman acquires trust.
Alternatively if the prediction can be confirmed by access to a radar display or looking out the window the weatherman will gain credibility.
If the news reader predicts Hillary will win with a 91% probability and Hillary loses, what will listeners think?
If immediately after Al Gore gives a speech on Global Warming a blizzard frequently strikes what conclusions will the audience invariably draw?
The success of "fake news" is inextricably linked to the state of credibility of the media.
Fake news would get no purchase if the media's credibility were high.
But surveys showed it has been declining for years and the Russians could not have helped but notice.
They very cleverly exploited the fact that news organizations were increasingly used by politicians to spread lies.
...Fixing fake news  necessarily means repairing the credibility of the media.
This can be done in two ways: by improving its reporting or providing the audience with tools to collaterally and direct check the facts.
It cannot be solved by automatically letting David Brock do the "vetting" or getting Mark Zuckerberg to pre-censor Facebook.
That will only increase the persuasive power of the unemployed Georgian gray news merchants.
Sun Tzu would understand."

NY Times columnist: Trump presidency is 'obscene' | Washington Examiner
"New York Times columnist Charles Blow wrote this week that he gladly skipped President-elect Trump's visit to the paper, and that Trump's presidency is "obscene."
"You are a fraud and a charlatan," Blow wrote.
"Yes, you will be president, but you will not get any breaks just because one branch of your forked tongue is silver."
"I am not easily duped by dopes," he wrote.
"I have not only an ethical and professional duty to call out how obscene your very existence is at the top of American government;
I have a moral obligation to do so."
..."Unrepentant opportunism belies a staggering lack of character and caring that can't simply be vanquished from memory.
You did real harm to this country and many of its citizens, and I will never — never — forget that."
He said as he listened to the transcript of the meeting, "the slime factor was overwhelming."
"You are an aberration and abomination who is willing to do and say anything — no matter whom it aligns you with and whom it hurts — to satisfy your ambitions," he wrote.
During the meeting, Trump called the New York Times a "great, great American jewel. A world jewel."

Compare and Contrast: DONALD TRUMP vs OBAMA on Tyrant Fidel Castro's Death

Compare and Contrast: DONALD TRUMP vs OBAMA on Tyrant Fidel Castro's Death:
"...Obama would not condemn this evil man.
Instead, Obama said “history will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.”
What the hell was that supposed to mean?
Statement by the President on the Passing of Fidel Castro
At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people. We know that this moment fills Cubans – in Cuba and in the United States – with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.
For nearly six decades, the relationship between the United States and Cuba was marked by discord and profound political disagreements. During my presidency, we have worked hard to put the past behind us, pursuing a future in which the relationship between our two countries is defined not by our differences but by the many things that we share as neighbors and friends – bonds of family, culture, commerce, and common humanity. This engagement includes the contributions of Cuban Americans, who have done so much for our country and who care deeply about their loved ones in Cuba.
Today, we offer condolences to Fidel Castro’s family, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Cuban people. In the days ahead, they will recall the past and also look to the future. As they do, the Cuban people must know that they have a friend and partner in the United States of America...
Now here is President-elect Donald Trump’s statement that was just sent out:
President-Elect Donald J. Trump Statement
Today, the world marks the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades. Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights.
“While Cuba remains a totalitarian island, it is my hope that today marks a move away from the horrors endured for too long, and toward a future in which the wonderful Cuban people finally live in the freedom they so richly deserve.
“Though the tragedies, deaths and pain caused by Fidel Castro cannot be erased, our administration will do all it can to ensure the Cuban people can finally begin their journey toward prosperity and liberty. I join the many Cuban Americans who supported me so greatly in the presidential campaign, including the Brigade 2506 Veterans Association that endorsed me, with the hope of one day soon seeing a free Cuba.”
It’s going to be good to have a president elect who knows the difference between good and evil once again.

Illegals advised on how to escape deportation

Illegals advised on how to escape deportation | Washington Examiner
"Mexico and three other Central American governments are scrambling to help citizens who are in the United States illegally avoid deportation under a Trump administration, warning them to avoid making "hasty" moves that might make them a target for ouster.
Foreign ministers of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras met this week to address concerns about President-elect Trump's plan to deport illegals, mostly those with criminal records. Their goal:

  • Calm the fears of illegals,
  • help them avoid deportation, and
  • keep the flood of money they send home going.

Mexico and Guatemala announced plans to expand immigration services at their dozens of offices in the United States..."
