American Laser Skincare of Farmington Hills closes 100 clinics | Crain's Detroit Business: "Farmington Hills-based American Laser Skincare has announced it closed its 100 clinics, including 11 in Southeast Michigan.
.....Officials for the company in Farmington Hills were unavailable for comment. Nationally, the company employed about 1,000 workers.
In a statement on its website, American Laser said:
“We sincerely regret the impact that these closings may have on our loyal clients, valued employees, and business partners.
The entire industry has been affected by the long-running economic downturn, and our company simply could no longer afford to continue operating.”
