For at least the second time this week a local sheriff is taking to Facebook to call on citizens to arm themselves in preparation for terrorism or other violent attacks.
Clark County, Indiana Sheriff Jamey Noel posted to the social media site Tuesday night to voice his support for gun ownership and encourage residents to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit...
...“On any given day, we’re always understaffed and I think if you called the Jeffersonville Police Chief, Clarksville – they will all tell you that they are understaffed and don’t have as many people as they need,” Noel told the news site.
“I would much rather have someone in their house, if someone were to break in, in addition to calling 911 that they have a means to defend themselves before we get there,” he said..."
