Under Siege

After eight long years of neglect, the security of the American people and the homeland are once again the focus of the White House. The United States was under siege by an administration which put the feelings and false rights of illegal aliens and our enemies above the citizens. We witnessed, in disbelief, as individuals were being ushered into our land without questions or background checks. It makes you wonder about long term consequences for such criminal actions.

Every president takes an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the U.S. Constitution. How does one president get away with not upholding the law while his successor is demonized for doing his sworn duty? Why are threats of impeachment and calls for the assassination of President Trump being glorified? Clearly, the Democratic Party, the party which claims to be a party of tolerance, would not condone such behavior if Obama or Clinton were the target of such vicious, vile acts.

We now have an administration which wants to uphold the law. The President of the United States enacted an executive order to enforce national security. Let's think about the brilliance of the executive order. It puts a temporary hold on individuals traveling to the U.S. who are departing from some of the most pro-terrorist/anti-American countries in the world. Some would say it doesn't go far enough, me included, but it's a start. The order would prevent terrorists or potential terrorists from entering the United States.

Once an individual is properly vetted, they would be allowed to enter.........
