… recording the annual Arctic sea-ice loss (into summer) followed by gain (into winter), is presently (as of 14th July) exactly coinciding with the 2012 curve (black), rather than tracking substantially below it (as global warming would predict).

If, when we reach the Arctic sea-ice annual minimum (September), the 2019 curve is above the 2012 one (as occurred for part of June; see that same figure), the AGW faithful are going to have even more egg on face. 
Don’t expect the MSM to report it.
