GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Trinity Health says it’s spending $18 million to build a combined heat and power plant at its downtown Grand Rapids campus.
The new plant, under construction now, will produce steam and a portion of Trinity’s electricity, according to a release...
Of the project’s $18 million price tag, $13 million is being covered by Trinity, with another $4 million coming through federal incentives created by President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, according to Trinity.
Another $1 million is coming from a rebate through Consumers Energy.
