• Thus far, all the mainstream media stories I’ve read have been negative – it was a terrible thing, the crew of Bockscar should not have picked Nagasaki, it wasn’t really necessary, it was racist, the Koran labor-slaves suffered horribly and are the real victims; if the bomb was necessary, it should have stopped with Hiroshima, and a few others even less tethered to reality. 

Thirty years ago, a lot of this was tossed around, too, for the 50th Anniversary of the end of the war...
