The 2006 film warned that 

• the Arctic was melting so fast that “𝘴𝘦𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥𝘸𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘰 𝘶𝘱 20 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘵,”
• swallowing Shanghai’s 40 million residents, 
• Calcutta’s 60 million, and 
• lower Manhattan, right down to the 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭. 
• 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐨, the film insisted, would lose its snowcap entirely.
