A 35-year-old male accused in the ambush killing of a Philadelphia police officer over the weekend was arraigned Sunday morning on 76 charges and ordered held without bail, Fox News reported, citing court records.
Eric Lewis faces charges including murder, homicide of a law enforcement officer, attempted murder, 10 counts of attempted homicide of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and other offenses, the cable news network said, adding that Lewis' next court date is scheduled for Oct. 26.
PJM also says some generators are nearing operating limits imposed by their environmental permits, including restrictions on air pollution, wastewater discharges and fuel use.
Those limits could force generators to reduce output or stop running when extra electricity is needed...
For instance, I actually saw the now INFAMOUS Shane Gillis SNL monologue before it became an object of apparent viral controversy.
It wasn’t the funniest thing I ever watched, but parts of it made me laugh...
But apparently that audience, presumably present to enjoy comedy, isn’t the audience that counts.
One of the deranging features of culture right now is that everyone is so inundated with information that it’s easy to muddy the waters with inaccurate frame jobs.
The U.S. Justice Department is sending a message to noncitizens considering casting ballots in the midterms next month by revealing it has charged 64 foreign nationals across 17 states with the crime of unlawful voting.
His team originally booked the great Corner expecting maybe 300.
They were overwhelmed by the turnout at the Frauenthal.
I definitely saw Republican voters listening carefully in view of the fact that Mike Rogers lost his seat in Congress to Haley Stevens and lost a Senate race to Elissa Slotkin.
1912 - Theodore Roosevelt was shot while campaigning in Milwaukee, WI. Roosevelt's wound in the chest was not serious and he continued with his planned speech.
1947 - Over Rogers Dry Lake in Southern California, pilot Chuck Yeager flew the Bell X-1 rocket plane and became the first person to break the sound barrier.
1962 - The Cuban Missile Crisis began. It was on this day that U.S. intelligence personnel analyzing data discovered Soviet medium-range missile sites in Cuba. On October 22 U.S. President John F. Kennedy announced that he had ordered the naval "quarantine" of Cuba.
1964 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his non-violent resistance to racial prejudice in America. He was the youngest person to receive the award.
1986 - Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev charged that the U.S. wanted to "bleed the Soviet Union economically" with the arms race in space.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio blasted human rights group Amnesty International after the organization accused the United States and Israel of committing war crimes in Iran.
When asked about the claim by journalists, Rubio reacted by pointing to the long history of Iranian atrocities in the region, according to a Thursday report from Townhall.
“Amnesty International is a fraud,” Rubio reacted.

The left is pulling out all the stops and every trick in the book to import as many young, foreign men as humanly possible.
The left is clearly looking for new voters, supporters, and budding street activists to help them fight the patriotic countrymen who just want their country and culture back.
A couple of new videos are making the rounds right now, showing how the UK government is bringing these men into the country under police protection and under the cover of darkness...
Minnesota public officials are preparing for the Trump administration to pull hundreds of millions in federal funding from the state which has been marred by a massive healthcare fraud scandal in recent months.
A government official appointed by Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz expressed his concern with the Center of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Health & Human Services (HHS) for freezing $550 million in federal funding in 2026, claiming the state's Medicaid program is being unfairly targeted in fraud implications, the Washington Sun reported. The Trump administration froze the funding due to allegations of widespread fraud in the state that first broke in late 2025.
Rubio called the "fake" court a "rogue" group conceived and run by "globalist" so-called "experts."
"They want the International Criminal Court to do more — including the prosecution of American citizens and servicemembers who are defending their country," he said. "They want to prosecute Border Patrol agents that are protecting our nation's borders, and they want to prosecute our elected leaders that are ensuring our national security. They want more power, and they want it at the expense of our sovereignty as a nation. And President Trump will never allow the International Criminal Court to prosecute Americans," he said.
Following an announcement by Vice President JD Vance that Microsoft and some other tech companies were being suspended from a special visa program allowing foreigners to come into the United States and work, he confirmed that the financial losses incurred through the scheme might be recouped.
"We're going to continue to look at a number of these things. Again, we've already done some of this work, but we're going to continue to look at ways of recouping American taxpayer money that has effectively gone to subsidize cheap labor all over the United States of America," Vance told The Center Square.
The solution remains the one the Constitution provides: respect the authority reserved to the states, enforce the powers granted to the federal government, and require both to remain within their constitutional boundaries.
Madison warned us where that road leads. The Constitution reflects what we learned from traveling it.
We should reject Leibowitz’s misplaced logic before it carries us back toward a problem the Constitution was designed to correct. The lessons of our history should guide us forward, not become mistakes we are condemned to repeat.
Just as important, we learned from ancient Greece “the essential traits that come to define the West.”
Things like “fierce individuality and restless ambition, daring exploration and invention, a yearning for discovery, for adventure, risk and glory.”...
Secretary Rubio accurately described the present stasis of much of the West. Where once we understood that struggle and competition were the path to excellence, the modern world has ignored this truth:
Now I know that to modern ears, what I just described, this way of life, may sound odd; it may even sound cruel.
The ideal of many ideologies in our time has, frankly, become a world of perfect safety, devoid of risk or failure, with neither the glory of victory nor the shame of defeat.
Too often these days, we build downwards.
We design our standards to ensure no one will lose; we preoccupy ourselves more with the comfort of the worst than the potential of the best.
We hold the most exceptional things among us hostage to the average, the ordinary, the mediocre...
(1) Facebook - Mark Jessop-Ellis There is SO MUCH EVIDENCE that the Democrats have been RIGGING ELECTIONS for years, it's becoming comical when I hear LIBTARDS scream that Donald Trump is a criminal..
Among the participating organizations is CodePink, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has received $1.33 million from Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based tech tycoon who has funneled $278 million into a network of nonprofits under scrutiny by the House Ways and Means Committee and its chairman, Rep. Jason Smith, over allegations that some operate as "Trojan horses" and proxies for the Chinese Communist Party and other malign foreign interests. CodePink and other organizations under scrutiny have denied wrongdoing.
Two days ago, CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin and D.C. coordinator Olivia DiNucci dispatched a letter to members, directing them to join the "Feminist Contingent" at the Library of Congress for the "global day of action."
Evidence that Chinese-made baby monitors and components used in British military drones can be turned into spy devices has prodded Congress to act in a bipartisan fashion to protect another private space: Americans’ automobiles.
Republicans and Democrats in both the Senate and House have joined together to develop legislation banning Chinese-made cars and electronic components and software made by foreign adversaries like China from being included in cars sold in America...
The American Enterprise Institute speculated that "Chinese growth in the connected vehicle industry has expanded its access to foreign data. Automakers could gain streams of behavioral, geographic, and infrastructural data."...
“Unfortunately, we imported people into our country who did not share our values. And when they would say, ‘We hate you. We want to kill you. We want to transform your country,’ we didn’t believe them, because we thought, 'We are the Paris of the Middle East, we’re the banking capital of the Middle East. No one can touch us,'” she says.
“Unfortunately, they were able to destroy the country using our democracy to topple our democracy, our open-mindedness, our fairness, our tolerance, our multiculturalism."
The arguments against televising the long-awaited and eminently justified execution of Muslim fanatic traitor Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 and wounded at least 30, many of them fellow soldiers, add up to
“That’s not who we are” and
“Oh well, I never.”
“It’s barbaric,” we’re told.
It’s awful that people will have the opportunity to see justice delivered after so many years of legal onanism.
What does it say about us as a people if we shoot a guy who murdered 13 of his comrades?
It says we are done playing games.
It says we are serious.
When the U.S. Army executes that traitor, everyone’s going to know that we are no longer going to tolerate this kind of thing...
Similar patterns have emerged elsewhere in Europe where policymakers long favored redistribution and open migration without corresponding limits on either...
Democrats have been throwing tantrums ever since a Dominican illegal alien was shot by immigration authorities during a targeted operation this Thursday in the Bronx.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the fired-upon illegal alien has “a prior criminal conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs, and weapons possession.”
He also has links “to the Trinitarios gang, the same gang who brutally shot a CBP officer last year,” DHS revealed in a lengthy statement published to social media.

While introducing the resolution, Williams explained how Sharia is practiced in various Muslim-majority countries.
"Sharia, as practiced by governments around the world, is more than a private devotion. It operates as a complete political and legal order," he said. "Where states enforce it, the record speaks for itself. In Iran, women have been beaten in jail for uncovering their hair. In Pakistan, blasphemy laws have sent people to prison and stirred mobs against them on a single person's accusation."
Williams also discussed the treatment of women under some interpretations and applications of Sharia, saying a woman's testimony is worth half that of a man's, her inheritance is half that of her brothers, and her ability to work, marry or travel can depend on a male guardian.
A report at WisPolitics revealed the LWV had sued the Wisconsin Elections Commission demanding the court block enforcement of state rules that say "an elector who mails or personally delivers an absentee ballot to the municipal clerk is not permitted to vote in person at the same election on Election Day."
The League wanted voters who mailed their ballots to be allowed to vote on Election Day … just in case the mail service didn't deliver their ballots on time.
The judge in Dane County refused to suspend election rules for that.
Instead, Canada posted its worst monthly loss in seven months, and the unemployment rate climbed to 𝟔.𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭, up from 6.4 percent in August (Statistics Canada, The Daily, Oct. 9, 2026).
It's the second straight month of losses — August cost Canada roughly 42,000 jobs — and the damage is concentrated exactly where you'd expect from a government fighting its biggest trading partner instead of making a deal...
This is ultimately not merely an election-administration issue — it is a matter of sovereignty.
The proposition that only American citizens may vote in elections is a cornerstone of our republic. The citizenship requirement preserves self-government and ensures that those who decide our elections are members of the American political community. If these basic rules are treated as mere aspiration rather than an enforceable legal requirement, then American sovereignty is at risk.
