Trump Orders Removal Of Islamic Symbols, Practices In The White House | THE REPUBLICAN NEWS:
"On Trump’s orders, one of Obama’s most secretive rituals is being reversed and all signs of it removed from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
For the past 8 years, to appease any Muslims working at or visiting the White House, silence has been ordered during the 5 times of Islamic prayer each day. In addition, prayer rugs and crescent moon symbols are available in several areas of the executive mansion to make Muslims more comfortable."

"Donald Trump has ushered in a new sense of swift justice since taking office last Friday and there seems to be a lower tolerance for the antics of anarchists.
A group of black-clad agitators blocked traffic in Portland, Oregon on Wednesday. Drivers honked and lost their patience as transport grounded to a halt.
Then, out of nowhere, police officers in face shields and carrying batons rushed the agitators, catching them off guard.
Coming from around the back of a bus blocked by the anarchists, police threw one guy to the ground and grabbed the others.
The bus driver honked in approval.
“Take ’em all down!” one bystander shouted. “Thank you!” yelled another.
A video from the other side of the street shows pedestrians cheering as the agitators are ambushed.
“And you wonder why they come out and do it,” one man says.
The Oregonian reports 14 people — 12 adults and two 17-year-olds — were arrested during disruptions throughout the city.
They are reportedly demanding the firing of Portland Police Chief Mike Marshman.

"President Obama left the White House, the mainstream press was falling over itself proclaiming how popular he was.
"Obama leaving office on a very high note," was a typical headline.
Yet despite the media's fixation with polls, the press completely buried one of the more newsworthy poll findings — a Gallup report that came out last Friday, which took a final look at the President Obama's popularity over his eight years in office.
That poll found that Obama's overall average approval rating was a dismal 47.9%.
Only three presidents scored worse than Obama since Gallup started doing these surveys in 1945: never-elected Gerald Ford (47.2%), one-termer Jimmy Carter (45.4%), and Harry Truman (45.4%).
Obama even did worse overall than Richard Nixon, whose average approval was 49%, and was less popular overall than George W. Bush, who got an average 49.4%..."

Abortion Science: Heartbeats Are Imaginary, Unborn Babies Aren't Alive
Abortion Science: Heartbeats Are Imaginary, Unborn Babies Aren't Alive:
"Forget the war on babies. The abortion industry has a new enemy: ultrasounds. In a bizarre and rambling 2,600-word feature piece published on Tuesday, The Atlantic writer Moira Weigel took a sledgehammer to basic science and then did her best to vacuum its brains out before anyone could figure out what just happened.
The article’s headline is bad enough—”How the Ultrasound Pushed the Idea That a Fetus Is a Person”—but its subhed is the real work of art: “The technology has been used to create an ‘imaginary’ heartbeat and sped-up videos that falsely depict a response to stimulus.”

Blame The Media For Trump's Illegal Voting Investigation
Blame The Media For Trump's Illegal Voting Investigation | The Daily Caller:
Disagree With Trump’s Voter Fraud Investigation?
Blame The Liberal Media
Just hours after the press corps needled White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer about investigating claims of voter fraud, President Trump announced he would indeed call for an investigation into the matter.
“I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and … even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time).
Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!” Trump said in a series of tweets Wednesday.
The White House press corps hammered Spicer in a briefing Tuesday over Trump’s continued insistence that millions of people voted illegally in the election.
Much of the briefing consisted of reporters asking Spicer to provide evidence for Trump’s assertion, and repeated questioning as to why Trump’s not calling for an investigation if he really believes this claim.
“If 3 to 5 million people voted illegally that is a scandal of astronomical proportions,” NPR reporter Mara Liasson asked. “Doesn’t he want to restore American’s faith in their ballot system? Wouldn’t he want an investigation of this? I mean this is a huge, huge scandal.”
“Why not investigate something that is the biggest scandal in American electoral history 3 to 5 million people voting illegally?” she pressed.
“Well maybe we will,” Spicer replied. “And I think we’ll see where we go from here.”
Following the press conference and Trump’s announcement Wednesday morning, some are crediting those journalists with Trump’s decision to actually pull the trigger on the investigation. Trump had been mulling the idea of launching an investigation for weeks in private, but hadn’t moved forward, according to Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.
“Trump has provoked liberals into urging the Sessions Justice Department to investigate voter fraud,” The Wall Street Journal’s James Taranto noted, regarding the Liasson question.
She had inspired praise from journalist Bill Grueskin, who tweeted at Columbia journalism students, “This is how you do it.”
Author and journalists Tim O’Brien connected the dots. “Trump calls for ‘major investigation’ into voter fraud -after Spicer grilled on why he hadn’t,” he tweeted.

Climate porn and snow at Sundance
Climate porn and snow at Sundance:
"This year’s Sundance film festival is all-in on climate.
What better way to trigger the “Gore effect?”
As often happens when Gore hypes the climate, festival-goers in Park City Utah are freezing their warming off.
“What else could go wrong?” asked festival director John Cooper. What’s gone “wrong”?
Well, Trump Trump Trump, a cyber attack, power outages, public complaint about internet access, freeway shut downs, traffic gridlock due to too many SUVs, busses, delivery trucks and snow plows, festival banners blowing off and down Main Street, and a big chunky snowstorm with bouts of full on blizzard and temperature in the single digits.
Minus three is forecast for Thursday.
The snow and freezing weather has attendees bundled up in fur coats, goose down stuffed Patagonia jackets, slick leather jackets and big furry snow boots — all the comforts an energy rich, free market society can provide.
Al Gore made a personal appearance at the premiere of his “An Inconvenient Sequel,” and told us, “we are putting 110 million tonnes of global warming pollution [CO2] in the atmosphere every 24 hours.”
Gore proclaimed “the sustainability movement is unstoppable.”
The audience of over 1000 clapped and cheered with enthusiasm, not pausing to consider what life might be like without the energy and prosperity they take for granted.
Sundance’s “New Climate” line up is relentless in targeting American freedom as the source of the world’s problems.
Capitalism is bad, CO2 is bad, cars are bad, consumerism is bad, unrepentant white people are bad, cattle are bad, and the list goes on.
...The climate porn at Sundance moved beyond the figurative to the literal with the inclusion of the short film Hot Winter, a parody of the campy porn films of the eighties.
“One of the first films in American cinema to address climate change,” the joke goes, the film was also a “hardcore porno.”
For the Festival, “all sex scenes have been removed as to not distract from the conscious message.” We follow “Dr. Manly,” the world’s most renowned climate scientist, body builder, and former actor, as he eventually falls for the much hated Oil, Corporation’s president, Ms. Frost.
Everything leads back to global warming and at the end of the film we are told that “global warming is real” and the way to save the earth is by using renewable energy.
Are the film’s producers parodying eighties porn or the warming campaign itself?
Do you they even know?..."
