FBI: Awans Security Clearances “Forged;” Granted Access to Congressional Intel Despite Falsified Vetting | True Pundit:

Image result for free clip art sluth"Federal law enforcement agents working the Imran Awan and Hina Alvi fraud probe said the couple, along with other members of the family, were never properly vetted for Congressional security clearances.

Instead the clearances, which provided the Awans access to dozens of Congressional Democrats computer networks and IT systems, were likely approved absent each individual background file getting “fully investigated.”

“I seriously doubt they could have passed a full background (check),” one FBI insider said. “These clearances were pushed through.”"

Voting machines can be hacked without evidence, commission is told - Washington Times:
"The country’s voting machines are susceptible to hacking, which could be done in a way so that it leaves no fingerprints, making it impossible to know whether the outcome was changed, computer experts told President Trump’s voter integrity commission Tuesday.
Image result for hacked electionThe testimony marked a departure for the commission, which was formed to look into fraud and barriers to voting, but which heard that a potentially greater threat to confidence in American elections is the chance for enemy actors to meddle.
“There’s no perfect security; there’s only degrees of insecurity,” said Ronald Rivest, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He said hackers have myriad ways of attacking voting machines.
“You don’t want to rest the election of the president on, ‘Maybe the Wi-Fi was turned on when it shouldn’t have been.’”
He and two other computer security experts said bar codes on ballots and smartphones in voting locations could give hackers a chance to rewrite results in ways that couldn’t be traceable, short of sampling of ballots or hand recounts — and those work only in cases where there’s a paper trail..."

Fennville coach suspended for grabbing player | WOODTV.com:
"FENNVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Fennville Public Schools suspended its head football coach for two games after he manhandled a player during a game last week.
Image result for a nation of wimpsThe incident happened during a game at Coloma Friday following what Superintendent Jim Greydanus described as an “intense interaction on the field between the teams.”
A statement from the superintendent released Tuesday said coach Brian Sackett admitted he grabbed a player’s pads and shouted at him, then pushed the player toward the bench.
Shortly thereafter, Sackett apologized to the player and “encouraged him to get back into the game as soon as he was ready,” the statement said in part.
The district said what it found in its investigation lined up with Sackett’s story.
“In responding to this incident, Fennville Public Schools seeks to maintain standards of accountability while allowing for restoration of relationships,” Greydanus’ statement concluded.
“We remain committed to providing the best possible experience for our athletes.”
Assistant coaches will be in charge while Sackett is on suspension."

'KNOWN WOLF' TERROR SCANDAL: CIA Knew About 9-11 Hijackers, Didn't Provide Intel to FBI | Homeland Security

'KNOWN WOLF' TERROR SCANDAL: CIA Knew About 9-11 Hijackers, Didn't Provide Intel to FBI | Homeland Security:
"As I've recounted in more than 30 articles here at PJ Media over the past three years, virtually every Islamic terrorist who has conducted an attack in the West since 9/11 has already been known to authorities, which prompted me to coin the phrase "known wolf" terrorism.
Amidst the commemoration of the 16th anniversary of 9/11, it bears recalling that 9/11 itself was a "known wolf" attack, too.
The CIA had intelligence that two Saudi 9/11 hijackers were living in the United States, but they deliberately refused to share the information with the FBI.
The FBI had authority to act on such information and possibly prevent the 9/11 attacks...
In many respects, the 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11 were not only the victims of al-Qaeda terrorists, but also bureaucratic incompetence and inter-governmental turf wars.
Image result for 'known wolf' terroristWho among those who sat on the information were punished?
Well, none were.
The CIA sitting on critical intelligence until just days before the attack was couched in the larger excuse of "intelligence failures," and swept under the rug.
Some of what we know about the CIA's pre-9/11 intelligence about the hijackers comes from a joint congressional inquiry several years after the attacks.
But the most revealing information has come from former FBI agent Mark Rossini, who -- though an FBI agent -- was assigned to the CIA and prevented from sharing the information with his colleagues.

Two years ago, Jeff Stein at Newsweek detailed Rossini's story:
Rossini is well placed to do just that. He’s been at the center of one of the enduring mysteries of 9/11: Why the CIA refused to share information with the FBI (or any other agency) about the arrival of at least two well-known Al-Qaeda operatives in the United States in 2000, even though the spy agency had been tracking them closely for years..."

Heart and Soul

By Tammy Derouin

Image result for Lighthouse Shining at NightI enjoyed some post-Labor Day time at Lake Michigan over the weekend. This has to be my favorite time of year. The weather is still nice, even with a slight chill in the air. The water may or may not be warm enough to take on some challenging waves, but the traffic, the activity, has calmed down for the year. The snow fences are showing up and finding a parking place no longer gives you a headache. For me, going to the beach has always been a way to escape the realities of life, at least for a little while.

As I drove home, I noticed that the car ahead of me was from Florida. Reality was right in front of me while the tranquility of the lake was disappearing in my rear-view mirror. Of course, my reality of the anticipated hurricane comes through a distant camera lens and weather reports as I sit safely in my home. I wondered what part of Florida this couple called home. I couldn't imagine the anxiety they must be feeling. Would they have a home upon their return? How well would their family and friends get through the storm? I silently wished them well as the road took us in different directions.

As the United States braces for another natural disaster, I know the goodness of the American people will shine like a beacon in the night. It's what we do. When disaster strikes, we roll up our sleeves and help our fellow man. Politics and agendas disappear as the heart and soul of America radiates with unselfish acts of kindness.......
