California Was Warned Months Ago Its Grid Could Buckle In The Heat. Now It’s Happening | The Daily Caller
"California’s grid operator is asking customers to limit electricity use during peak hours to help keep power flowing as a “heat dome” settles over the southwestern U.S.
But they were warned of this months ago.
The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) warned in May that California faced “significant risk of encountering operating conditions that could result in operating reserve shortfalls.”
Expected power demand is expected to outstrip California’s available generating capacity by about 5,000 megawatts on Tuesday, according to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO).

Why the lack of energy supplies?
CAISO expects high demand for air conditioning during the heat wave to outstrip supply owing to “reduced electricity imports, tight natural gas supplies” and high wildfire risk.
The grid operator issued a flex alert to customers on Monday and began mobilizing all available generating capacity.
But that’s not enough, and CAISO is asking residents and businesses to cut their power usage to prevent “rotating power outages.”
This is exactly what NERC warned about, based on CAISO’s own assessment earlier this year....

How Obama presidency was 8-year hacking nightmare

How Obama presidency was 8-year hacking nightmare:
"Let’s review what received little media attention in the U.S. at the time or since.

  • In September 2016, U.S. authorities arrested two North Carolina members of the “Crackas With Attitude” group involved in hacking CIA Director Brennan’s personal email account and leaking sensitive files including a top-secret application for a security clearance, as well as other senior officials at the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. The hackers leaked the personal details of 31,000 government agents belonging to nearly 20,000 FBI agents; 9,000 Department of Homeland Security officers and some Department of Justice staffers. The attacks took place in October 2015...

  • In January 2016, a hackers associated with the same group accessed personal email and phone accounts belonging to the director of National Intelligence, James Clapper. The group also broke into the AOL email of the FBI Deputy Director Mark Giuliano. They also broke into Clapper’s and his wife’s emails, home phone and internet connection. While in control of Clapper’s FIOS connection, they said they redirected all calls to his number to the Free the Palestine movement. How did the CIA director, the director of National Intelligence, officials of DHS and the 31,000 FBI agents get hacked?

  • It gets worse. For CIA Director Brennan, who recently called President Trump’s meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin “treasonous,” it was the second time his personal email account was hacked. The first time was by a 15-year-old British hacker, a story that received virtually no media coverage in the U.S...

When the CIA director and his boss, the director of National Intelligence, along with 21,000 FBI agents are hacked, one of them by a 15-year-old boy, it makes you wonder how much credibility the intelligence community has in their certainty about Russia leaking hacked documents from Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.
As President Trump tweeted: “Julian Assange said ‘a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta’ – why was DNC so careless?”

  • Office of Personnel Management Director Katherine Archuleta resigned in July 2015, a day after revealing the largest government data breach in American history. She got the job directing all human resources management for the federal government – from recruitment, hiring, development and support – after serving in Obama’s re-election campaign in 2008. The attack has been attributed to the Chinese government..."

Jeff Sessions repeats 'Lock her up' chant as he accuses colleges of creating snowflakes - Washington Times:

Image result for flickr commons images jeff sessionsAttorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday told a group of conservative high school students that colleges have created a generation of “sanctimonious, sensitive, supercilious snowflakes.”
He also chuckled at a chant of “Lock her up” during the speech, referencing a rallying cry used by then-candidate Donald Trump against his 2016 presidential election opponent, Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Trump used the “Lock her up” catchphrase as part of his claim that Mrs. Clinton should be jailed for her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.

Is Society Destroying the Kind of Women Men Want? | Intellectual Takeout
"...The Telegraph describes a popular Reddit thread which asks, “What is something women think makes them more attractive to men while men think it makes them less attractive?” and then goes on to list some of the more surprising responses:
“Upper-lip piercings are deemed ‘trashy’.
Tracksuits with the word ‘juicy’ emblazoned on the posterior are a no-no, as are hoop earrings, 'old lady perfume', ballerina shoes, long nails or bold lip colours (unless, you are one of those women who can 'rock it')...
See the source image...the responses the men gave made me stop and think.
If their answers could be boiled down to a few words, they would likely say that they are uninterested in women who act as self-absorbed attention seekers.
Unfortunately, many in today’s society – both men and women – have been trained to be just that.
Parents have been told to center life around their child in order to promote their self-esteem.
Students increasingly suffer from “emotional dependency,” a condition in which it’s difficult to function without continual affirmation and praise.
Society has normalized the Culture of Narcissism, which leads toward “dependence on the vicarious warmth provided by others, … calculating seductiveness, … and deteriorating relations between men and women.”...

Freedom and Independence

By Tammy Derouin

We are blessed to live in a country where our God-given rights are acknowledge and protected by the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution is a liberating document because it restricts and limits the power of the government. The government is empowered by the people and is not supposed to make laws which infringe upon or restrict our rights. The Constitution establishes that we are a land of laws not men. The founding fathers also made clear that we are a Republic not a true democracy.

Sadly, many do not understand how our system of government works. They call for radical changes which would fundamentally change our country from its original intent of freedom and independence to enslavement and dependency. Separation of powers and the checks and balance they are supposed to provide is vital so that one branch doesn't become too powerful. The Electoral College is another good example. It is vital to our Republic but people need to understand how and why it works. Do those who call for such changes understand that if their attempts are successful, it would turn back the hands of time? We the people need to understand when destructive forces are attempting to destroy us. Once freedom is gone, there's a good chance it is gone forever.

For far too many years, our government was in the hands of corrupt individuals who sought to destroy our founding principles, our system of government and our security.......
