Disgusting!-----CNN: Assassinating Trump Could Keep Obama Administration in Power

Disaster Wolf Blitzer (Screen shot / CNN / YouTube)CNN: Assassinating Trump Could Keep Obama Administration in Power:

As the nation prepares for the peaceful transfer of power on Inauguration Day,

CNN is dreaming up scenarios whereby the Obama administration can keep power if President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence were blown up as they prepared to take to oath of office.

On the Wednesday, January 18 broadcast of CNN’s The Situation Room, host Wolf Blitzer aired a segment with a chyron featuring the headline “Developing Now.”
During that “developing” segment, Blitzer and correspondent Brian Todd discussed what would happen if the unthinkable occurred on January 20.
Blitzer introduced the segment, saying, “What if an incoming president and his immediate successors were wiped out on day one?” and from there, CNN contributor Brian Todd took over to outline the line of succession if an attack blew up the inaugural dais, killing both Trump and Pence..."

Before and After Obama: 10 Signs of a Diminished America

Before and After Obama: 10 Signs of a Diminished America:
"The media acted as if Donald Trump’s campaign slogan of “Make America Great Again” was an incomprehensible emotional outburst from people who didn’t realize, or wouldn’t accept, just how great Barack Obama was.
President Obama has spent his final months in office giving juvenile speeches full of excuses for why nothing bad since 2009 was his fault, while everything good was his personal handiwork.
Why, if you just ignore all the terrorist attacks that happened on American soil over the past eight years, you can believe his carefully-phrased assertion that there haven’t been any terrorist attacks!
In truth, everyone paying attention could see the signs of a diminished America, and they knew exactly what Trump was talking about.

The four areas of improvement Gallup found were in the situation for gays and lesbians (Obama’s only truly high mark), energy (which got better despite his policy preferences, thanks to the private sector), climate change (whose partisans scream that it’s getting worse!) and the economy.
“Health care” was a complete wash, which is awful, given the amount of money Obama spent on it.
The new administration has its work cut out for it to repair the damage caused by eight years of Obama’s policies in the following ten key areas.

Pretty sad legacy.

Obama denies Assange tweet offering extradition to US influenced his decision to free Manning – TheBlaze:

"The president said he looked at all the “particulars of the case” and felt that the commutation was “entirely appropriate,” adding that Manning’s punishment was “disproportionate” to the crime.

Bradley Manning, Chelsea’s given name, was convicted in 2010 for his role leaking sensitive information to Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, information that revealed American military and diplomatic activities in several regions of the world. WikiLeaks made the information public in April and November of 2010. Manning was sentenced in 2013 and began gender reassignment to become Chelsea Manning while incarcerated."

"In a lawsuit filed in federal court on Wednesday, students at Kellogg Community College, a small public college located in Battle Creek, Mich., claim their constitutional rights were violated when they were arrested and forced to spend a night in county jail for refusing to stop handing out pocket Constitutions on school grounds in September 2016.Students at Kellogg Community College located in Battle Creek, Mich., claim their constitutional rights were violated when they were arrested for refusing to stop handing out pocket Constitutions on school grounds in September 2016. Following Harambe ban, Clemson RAs undergo mandatory free speech training

Following Harambe ban, Clemson RAs undergo mandatory free speech training - The College Fix:
"Following the infamous Clemson University Harambe ban last September — in which a dorm director put a moratorium on any depictions of the infamous gorilla, prompting the school to be criticized and mocked nationwide for an overzealous and unconstitutional enforcement of political correctness — campus officials appear to have decided Resident Advisors are in need of a primer on the First Amendment.

Clemson RAs underwent a mandatory First Amendment training Jan. 10, an RA who attended the event told The College Fix on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be reprimanded for speaking to the press.
Led by Dr. Leasa Evinger, the Clemson Director of Residential Living, the training emphasized that RAs have a responsibility to uphold students’ First Amendment rights, according to the student, who also provided an audio recording of the meeting to The Fix.
It launched with a video that introduced RAs to basic First Amendment protections, such as the right of citizens to criticize the government. The video also examined the limits of free speech, including harassment, vandalism and threats. A component of the video also addressed college and university policies outlawing so-called “hate speech,” which are routinely struck down in court.
Several RAs reacted with surprise upon learning “hate speech” is fully protected by the First Amendment, the source in attendance said."

Fundamental Principles

By Tammy Derouin

I really hoped that by the time we approached the inauguration things would have calmed down. But, we are not just dealing with disappointment; we are dealing with pure hate. I wanted to believe that Americans would come together, much like we did eight years ago when the GOP was dealing with disappointment and the disbelief that Obama had actually won the election. Maybe, just maybe, an unknown senator, with a lack luster career and very little experience beyond community organizing, would surprise us and do good things for the country.

The doubts which conservatives had, upon his election, were not due to his skin color, as the Left would like you to believe. We had doubts based on facts and lack of information. There were too many unknowns. The little we knew about his background was cause for concern. But, it was the lack of available information that was extremely unsettling and raised many red flags. The press was already under the progressive influence as they disregarded unanswered question and did not venture on a quest to find the truth. Why were so many puzzle pieces missing and not pursued? Why didn’t they want to present a clear, complete picture to the nation? Eight devastating years later, we know why.

In the spirit of giving Obama a chance, we accepted the election results. It was up to him to prove who he was, what he could do and how he would do it. Remember when he stated that he wanted to fundamentally transform America? Remember how it was brushed off as political rhetoric and not taken seriously? Here we are eight years later trying to reclaim some of our fundamental principles.

It didn’t take long to realize our country was in serious trouble.......

A School Administrator Corrected a Student’s Spelling on Twitter. She Was Fired.

A School Administrator Corrected a Student’s Spelling on Twitter. She Was Fired. - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
"It would be difficult to find a better example of everything that's wrong with education in America: a Maryland public school fired the woman who ran its Twitter account because she corrected a student's spelling.
The student, "Nathan," tweeted "Close school tammarow PLEASE" at Frederick County Public Schools. Katie Nash, the district's social media director, replied "but then how would you learn to spell 'tomorrow'? :)" from the FCPS account.
District officials were not pleased.
First, they instructed Nash to stop tweeting.
Then they called her into a meeting and abruptly fired her, according to The Frederick News-Post:
As a new employee, I think I sort of would have expected that there would have been some counseling or some suggestions on how to improve," she said.
Nash said there was never a conversation about what the tone of the account was to be.
"Any social media manager is looking for increasing engagement, and that's sort of the expected parameter," she said. "I think a conversation about how we engage with students would have been completely appropriate and I would have welcomed that..."

How American Charities Fund Terrorism

How American Charities Fund Terrorism :: Middle East Forum:
"As the president-elect has repeatedly made clear, his first full day in office will be a busy one.
He has promised to effect a wide array of changes.
But what about his second day?
If he has some free time, we have some suggestions.
As the threat from international terror groups and homegrown radicalization increases, clamping down on domestic Islamist networks should be a priority.
In particular: terror financing.
Under the Obama administration, the federal government appeared to ease up on prosecutions of American Islamist charities linked to terror.
This was a marked change from the years after 9/11, when scores of charities were shut down after prosecutors found financial and logistical links to terrorist groups across the globe.
This effort culminated in 2008, when the Holy Land Foundation was tried in court on charges of financing terrorism. Federal prosecutors listed a considerable number of prominent American Muslim organizations as "unindicted co-conspirators."
Eight years of a more permissive attitude has afforded Islamist groups the chance for a resurgence.
Islamist charities do not just provide a means to move money; they also offer legitimacy to American Islamist organizations struggling to free themselves from decades of allegations of extremism.
Islamist charitable endeavors abroad serve to sanitize the Islamist agenda at home..."

Even the Feds are Warning that California's Bullet Train Is a Disaster in the Making - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
Image result for California's Bullet Train Is a Disaster"Just days after California Gov. Jerry Brown warned that the state was slipping back into deficit spending ($1.6 billion by next summer), the Los Angeles Times got its hands on a confidential internal report from the Federal Railroad Administration that points the fingers right back at the governor when it comes to wasteful spending.
Even the feds believe the state is drastically understating the costs of it's massive high-speed rail project, approved by voters years ago but with only a small portion of the project funded.
Just the first leg of the $70 billion project could cost billions more than budgeted, $10 billion instead of $6.4 billion.
And the project is already way behind schedule.
The report predicts the first stretch of track (in the center of the state) won't be completed until 2024, seven years behind schedule..."

Black Man Conducts Dress-Up Experiment to Prove 'Racism.' Does the Opposite... » Louder With Crowder:
"If you believe that today’s incessant claims of racism are blown out of proportion by the media, by #BlackLivesMatter and our dear leader Barack Obama, you’re a racistCheck your white privilege
But only if you’re white.
If you’re black and you believe there’s racism everywhere, you might be this guy.
He’s Pedro Fequiere, a junior staff writer at BuzzFeed.
That’s your first hint.
Your second hint is the title of his piece at BuzzFeed: “A Black Man Wore Different Kinds of Clothing to See if People Treated Him Differently.”
If you’re not clued in yet, try this line:
Many black men dress up to avoid being seen negatively. Every day, we are dressing for survival.
Here’s the problem, Pedro.
Yes, now I’m addressing you directly.
Everyone dresses up to represent themselves in a certain way.
Why?
Because we’re all judged based on our appearances.
Ask anyone who’s ever been on a promising first date.
Or a job interview.
Whichever you’ve had more of, think back to how you’ve dressed.
Did you go wearing saggy pants?
Or did you go in a suit?
Point made, but I’m not stopping…
Throughout my life, I’ve experienced a collection of microaggressions — from employees following me in stores to women gripping their purses at the sight of me. At 13 years old, I was detained by the cops on suspicion of something I didn’t do..."
