Breaking: Hawaii Judge slaps nationwide restraining order on Trump’s re-written travel ban – TheBlaze:
"The federal judge said the reasoning for restraining order depended on the argument that the travel ban might have violated First Amendment protections of religion. To substantiate the claim, Trump’s campaign promise of calling for a “Muslim ban” were included in the judgement handed down by the judge. The travel ban was set to take effect Thursday."

LIBERTY REVIEW
LIBERTY REVIEW:

We
encourage children to develop skills which allow them to take care of
their own needs. It doesn't matter to the child if more than half the
food lands down the front of them or on the wall and floor. What's
important to them is that they are trying to do it themselves. Their
encouragement to succeed is the desire to eat. Eventually, more lands
in the target area. They're happy they can do it. You're happy you
don't have to do it and the mess they make eventually dwindles,
hopefully. No matter how many times they fail, they never give up.
They want to do “it” themselves.
With new skills come
new challenges.......

It seems like
whining and crying has become the favored pastime for many people. I
didn't hear this kind of senseless bellyaching or see these kinds of
tears and temper tantrums when I used to take my girls to daycare.
But then again, the daycare/learning center I used didn't put up with
such nonsense. As the older, yet preschool aged children, grew and
learned how to socially interact, certain behavior was expected.
Rules were in place with appropriate consequences for those who
needed the occasional reminder.
It
would be crazy to discourage independence. Have you ever witnessed a
parent or caregiver discourage a child from eating with utensils,
drinking from a cup or insist on the diaper over the potty? That
would be insane! We want our children to grow and learn, to stand on
their own two feet. Each challenge they face prepares them for the
next one. It's exciting to watch as they realize they have achieved a
new skill.

Oh crap! This again?-----New Footage of Michael Brown Discussed at Emotional SXSW Panel - Hit & Run : Reason.com
New Footage of Michael Brown Discussed at Emotional SXSW Panel - Hit & Run : Reason.com: "Filmmaker Jason Pollock says he uncovered explosive video footage that proves Missouri police suppressed evidence in order to create the impression that Michael Brown, the teenager shot by a cop in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014, robbed a convenience store shortly before the encounter.
A new documentary that premiered at the movie, music, and tech festival South by Southwest (SXSW) this weekend includes a clip from a security camera that allegedly shows Brown entering the shop around 1 o'clock that morning and exchanging a small item with a clerk for a couple of cartons of cigarillos.
But before leaving, Brown hands the bag back over the counter.
Pollack says he was trading marijuana for the goods but decided to come back for them later—thus providing an alternative explanation for footage, released by officials in the aftermath of the shooting, that appeared to show Brown forcing his way out of the store later that day without paying for some merchandise..."
