PULL BACK THE CURTAIN ON NPR AND PBS SALARIES! That'll Convince You Trump's Right to Cut, Cut, Cut! » 100percentfedUp.com:
"You won’t believe the obscene salaries of PBS and NPR higher ups.
PBS pays their president a $632,233 yearly salary.
This is shocking but here’s another one: Sesame Workshop President and CEO Gary Knell received $956,513!
Former Senator Jim DeMint speaks up in the WSJ about the obscene salaries the higher ups at PBS and NPR are getting:
Image result for PBS Liberal Bias...The so-called commercial free public airwaves have been filled with pleas for taxpayer cash. The Association of Public Television Stations has hired lobbyists to fight the cuts. Hundreds of taxpayer-supported TV, radio and Web outlets have partnered with an advocacy campaign to facilitate emails and phone calls to Capitol Hill for the purpose of telling members of Congress, “Public broadcasting funding is too important to eliminate!”
PBS President Paula Kerger even recorded a personal television appeal that told viewers exactly how to contact members of Congress in order to “let your representative know how you feel about the elimination of funding for public broadcasting.”
But if PBS can pay Ms. Kerger $632,233 in annual compensation—as reported on the 990 tax forms all nonprofits are required to file—surely it can operate without tax dollars…

And this doesn't count municipal debt!-----Top 10 Reasons Why the National Debt Matters

Top 10 Reasons Why the National Debt Matters:
"Here are the top ten reasons why fiscal and economic issues should be at the forefront of the 2017 policy conversation...

  • Deficits will grow significantly in coming years. CBO projects that the budget deficit will climb from $559 billion in 2017 to $1.4 trillion in 2027, resulting in a cumulative 10-year deficit of $9.4 trillion.
  • Interest costs are growing rapidly. Interest costs are projected to climb to $768 billion by 2027 and total $5.2 trillion over the next 10 years. In just over a decade, interest will become the third largest category of the budget. With our many important budget priorities, none of us wants interest to become the third largest government “program.”...

Ain't goin' to victims. Goin' to government "experts"-----Justice Department Grants $8.5 Million to the Victims of Orlando Night Club Shooting

Justice Department Grants $8.5 Million to the Victims of Orlando Night Club Shooting
The Department of Justice announced Tuesday that victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting will receive an $8.5 million anti-terrorism grant to aid financial and emotional support. The money will help provide mental health counseling to victims, witnesses, and first responders, as well as reimburse the costs of the United Assistance Center.

Weeks after the massacre, Two Spirit Health Services provided volunteer mental health counseling. President Dr. David Baker-Hargrove told the Orlando Sentinel:
"This is really good news. We all kind of anticipated that the federal government would at some point be able to step in and provide some long-term relief.”
The grant also will reimburse local charities who acted on-site to provide assistance to the victims and families, according to the Sentinel.

Global War Approaches: North Korea Warns: "If A Single Bullet Is Fired We WILL Nuke The United States" | The Daily Sheeple

Global War Approaches: North Korea Warns: "If A Single Bullet Is Fired We WILL Nuke The United States" | The Daily Sheeple:
nuclear-war2With tensions heating up on the Korean Peninsula after North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un fired several test missiles into Japanese-controlled territory, and following President Trump’s deployment of Navy Seals whose sole purpose will be to decapitate the leadership of the communist state, Un issued a shocking warning on Sunday.
If even a single bullet is fired, says Un,  his country will immediately initiate a nuclear attack on the United States.
...Noting that no option is off the table, Tillerson demanded North Korea cease pursuit of all nuclear programs:
Let me be very clear… the policy of strategic patience has ended… we are exploring a new range of diplomatic, security and economic measures… all options are on the table… North Korea must understand that the only path to a secure, economic prosperous future is to abandon its development of nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and other weapons of mass destruction.
We have repeatedly warned that North Korea could be the trigger for war that could see a dozen or more countries in conflict should President Trump no longer pursue the failed policies of patient diplomacy taken by his predecessors George Bush and Barack Obama.
Statements from Tillerson, and the North Korean response threatening outright nuclear war show that the situation in the region is escalating...
The rhetoric from world leaders suggests a lot of things can go wrong very quickly.
Prepare for the possibility today, because even one second after the event will be too late."

Clinton private email probe hindered by State Department, Chaffetz says | Fox News

Clinton private email probe hindered by State Department, Chaffetz says | Fox News:

"“For the State Department and DOJ lawyers to still say their position is what the Obama administration’s position was is not good,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, told Fox News. “The default position of the bureaucracy is secrecy, and in terms of partisanship, it’s to protect Mrs. Clinton.”

“I think the Obama White House and agencies were delaying this as much as they could, but there’s no excuse now — we’re going to find out just how transparent the Trump administration is going to be,” Chaffetz said. “There is no doubt — we’re not letting go of this now.”"

"UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs: “More than 20 million people face starvation and famine”
Where has he been until now?
Gorging with the rest of his lot at their expense.
Stephen O'Brien

Less than a week ago, Stephen O'Brien, the United Nations Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief stated, “More than 20 million people across four countries face starvation and famine. Without collective and coordinated global efforts, people will simply starve to death. Many more will suffer and die from disease.”
Mr. O’Brien also said “$4.4bn was needed by July to avert disaster.”
Here is what I’d like to know: Mr. O’Brien has been in office for nearly two years now.
What has he been doing all this time?
What has the UN been doing?
Starvation of twenty million people does not happen overnight.
Why has the UN not sounded the alarm before?
All of a sudden, the Internet and newsfeeds are inundated with harrowing images of emaciated children.
Could the UN not tell the world about this when only five or ten million people were starving? Apparently, someone in that defunct institution calculated that it requires no less than twenty million starving people to redeem a ransom of $4.4 bn by July..."

Liberal Activist in Ohio Jailed For Voter Fraud

Liberal Activist in Ohio Jailed For Voter Fraud:

"It's worth mentioning that there is another reason besides laziness that could be a factor. For example, Hammonds may have intended for someone to actually use those registrations to cast fraudulent votes in an attempt to sway elections. The phrase "vote early, vote often" doesn't just apply in Chicago, you know.

While it's good that Hammonds was caught and is being punished, it's a shame that she's only getting six months in jail."

Has the Ignorant Media Gotten Worse? - Reason.com

Has the Ignorant Media Gotten Worse? - Reason.com:
"Has the media gotten worse?
Or am I just grouchier?
Every day I see things that are wrong or that so miss the point I want to scream.
Four examples:

  • Storm Coverage

As this week's storm approached the East Coast, the media reverted to breathless hype: "monster storm ... very dangerous."
Here I blame my beloved free market: Predicting scary weather works. Viewers tune in.
Image result for liberal media gaffsWhat galls me more is the reporters' government-centric thinking.
"Everything is closed," they say. "Employees can't get to work."
But the corner grocery stayed open.
So did many gas stations and restaurants.
Why is it that when government buildings close, so many private businesses stay open?
Because their own money is at stake...

  • The Deep State

Monday, The New York Times ran the headline "What Happens When You Fight a 'Deep State' that Doesn't Exist?"
The article explained that unlike Egypt or Pakistan, America doesn't really have a powerful deep state, and to claim that it does "presents apolitical civil servants as partisan agents."
Give me a break.
"Apolitical civil servants"?
A deep state absolutely exists.
Some call it "administrative state" or "regulatory state."
These are the people who crush innovation and freedom by issuing hundreds of new rules. Regulators, if they don't pass new rules, think they're not doing their jobs.
...People who choose to work for, say, the EPA, tend to be environment zealots. This should surprise no one. Somehow, New York Times reporters don't see it..."

Is Denmark On The Brink? | Zero Hedge

Is Denmark On The Brink? | Zero Hedge:
"Iben Thranholm examines political and social events with focus on their religious aspects, significance and moral implications.
She is one of Denmark’s most widely read columnists on such matters.
Thranholm is a former editor and radio host at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), at which she created a religious news program that set a new standard for religious analysis in the newsroom. She has traveled extensively in the Middle East, Italy, the United States and Russia to carry out research and interviews.
She has been awarded for her investigative research into Danish media coverage of religious issues.

...How do the Danes look at Sweden, with hope or apprehension?
I Tranholm: With absolute horror!
The Swedish media, which is quite pro-government and its leftwing policies, does not always report the full extent of the problems in their society.
So it is hard to have a very accurate picture of what is going on.
But we in Denmark have a good sense.
We are very aware of the murders, rapes, riots, violence and the hand grenades that go on there.
This does not often make the news but we know it is going on.
And we don’t want to go down the same route. ..."

These NCAA Tournament Schools Are Anti-Free Speech Dumps | The Daily Caller

These NCAA Tournament Schools Are Anti-Free Speech Dumps | The Daily Caller:
"America’s college and university campuses are brimming with vast multitudes of bureaucrats and strong contingents of students who want to limit speech they find offensive.
Alliance Defending Freedom, a civil rights organization which sues college and universities for violating students’ First Amendment rights, has meticulously put together a Bracket of Shame to showcase the absurd and frequently egregious censorship currently occurring on America’s college campuses.

courtesy of Alliance Defending Freedom
The rules are simple: Only March Madness teams are eligible. America is oozing with colleges and universities which infringe heinously on student speech rights. However, their basketball teams are also terrible, so they don’t make the cut here.

West Regional
In the West region, Gonzaga University certainly stands out for hiring Melissa Click, the disgraced University of Missouri professor last seen calling for “muscle” to remove a student journalist who was trying to film an anti-free speech event.
There’s also Virginia Commonwealth University, which authorizes dorm staffers to remove students’ speech expressions on their own doors if the speech doesn’t reflect the taxpayer-funded school’s values. And there’s taxpayer-funded West Virginia University, which, according Alliance Defending Freedom, maintains a bizarre policy allowing complaints against students for “abuses of social justice principles.”
Vanderbilt University wins the West region, though, because it has violated federal law by trying to require nursing school students to submit to abortion training, and because of its strangely hostile stance toward Christian groups.
Midwest Regional
In the Midwest region, several schools stand out for their embarrassing lack of commitment to First Amendment rights.
Michigan State University became a national laughingstock just last month when school officials outlawed whiteboards from doors in dorm buildings because it’s possible that someone could scrawl some offensive message or image on them. Also, until just months ago, the taxpayer-funded school maintained a women’s study lounge in its main student union in which male students could not trespass..."

Could Someone Please Inform the Federal Judiciary That Jihadists Are Muslim? | National Review

Could Someone Please Inform the Federal Judiciary That Jihadists Are Muslim? | National Review:

"Someone needs to inform the federal judiciary that jihadists are Muslims, and targeting jihadist-infested nations for a short entry ban is not the same thing as targeting the broader Muslim community. Trump’s ban doesn’t touch cardiologists in Indonesia or programmers from India. Instead, it pushes the pause button on entry from six of the most hostile and violent nations in the entire world.

That’s unreasonable? That’s anti-American? That’s unconstitutional? Only with those who’ve lost their judicial and moral bearings and have sacrificed the Constitution and common sense on the altar of their own politics."
