Mark Steyn Ridicules Ocasio-Cortez For Saying ‘It Is Fascism, What We Have’ In America | The Daily Caller
Mark Steyn Ridicules Ocasio-Cortez For Saying ‘It Is Fascism, What We Have’ In America | The Daily Caller:
“Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to have absolute control over the U.S. economy, health care sector, and a lot more. So far, it hasn’t happened, and according to AOC recently, that failure means that America must be a backward fascist country,” Steyn began by way of introduction.
“It is fascism, what we have. What we are evolving into, as well,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the clip.
Steyn then turned to his guest, asking, “John, do you think AOC actually knows what fascism is?”

Making Journalism Great Again - American Thinker
"A new year is upon us, and I am keenly aware of the Fourth Estate’s four New Year’s Resolutions for 2020: (1) get Trump; (2) get Trump’s friends and family; (3) ridicule anyone who has voted or would consider voting for Trump; and (4) protect the Democratic Party from scandal.
...Chris Wallace has gone so far as to claim that there has never been a more dangerous time for the First Amendment than when the President of the United States exercises his free speech.
...If the ones with journalism degrees did some investigative reporting, they’d discover that we backcountry folk simply find their prose unconvincing.
...Is there a certain percentage of inaccuracy that we could all agree is impermissible?
Would coastal newspapers still feel haughty if they had to print disclaimers below the fold stating that forty percent or more of what you are about to read might later be proven to be false?
Is it possible to peddle so much false information but still take umbrage at being called “fake”?
I suggest four different resolutions for the press this year:
- (1) Headlines should accurately encapsulate facts that form the crux of any given story. It does me no good if your headline is describing the third sentence of paragraph six or scraps the newsy part for a misleading editorial in headline form. Headlines matter...
- (2) Anonymous sources are bunk....

WaPo Columnist Rips Rachel Maddow For Hyping Steele Dossier | The Daily Caller:
A columnist for The Washington Post blasted Rachel Maddow for her coverage of the infamous Steele dossier on Thursday, saying that the MSNBC host engaged in “a pattern of misleading and dishonest asymmetry” in her reporting on the salacious document in the nearly three years since its publication.
“As part of her Russianist phase, Maddow became a clearinghouse for news increments regarding the dossier,” writes Post media columnist Eric Wemple in his fifth installment in a series reviewing the media’s coverage of Steele’s dossier.

Make Gas Cans Great Again---Ace of Spades HQ
Ace of Spades HQ
"If Donald Trump wants to ensure he recaptures the 2020 electoral votes in the Great Lakes states he won in 2016 - and possibly add Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Maine - there is one simple thing he could do that would make him a hero to every snow-blowing American - issue an executive order to restore functioning gas cans.
To be clear, this would also make him a hero to tens of millions of other Americans throughout the country who use lawn mowers, power tools, etc around their homes or in their jobs.
...The government-mandated non-functioning gas can may be the most unpopular government-imposed regulatory rule since the 55 mile per hour speed limit...

An Unlimited Supply Of Borrowed Cash Is Destroying Higher Education
An Unlimited Supply Of Borrowed Cash Is Destroying Higher Education:
Now we wonder if our ticket out of poverty still has the same value.
Far too many of this generation are leaving college with substantial debt and few meaningful job opportunities.
- Both of us grew up poor. College was our way out of poverty. Now, we see too many young people locked into poverty by a college education.
Far too many of this generation are leaving college with substantial debt and few meaningful job opportunities.
...The problem has become so overwhelming that politicians are talking about “free” college and “forgiving” college debt.
It sounds good.
The truth is that these proposals are a disaster in the making because they ignore the root cause of out-of-control costs of higher education.

- Colleges Employ Needless Administrators...
- Higher Education Institutions Keep Increasing Their Debt...
- Colleges Stopped Caring About Education...
...According to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, “For every new dollar of federal student aid, tuition is raised by 65 cents.”
...If student debt is forgiven and college is made “free,” there will be even less reason to stop spending.

My oh my, what all-star crew (/sarc).
...The Impossible Whopper has 44 mg of estrogen, and a regular Whopper has 2.5 ng of estrogen. Now, let me refresh your metric system.
There are 1 million nanograms (ng) in one milligram (mg).
That means an Impossible Whopper has 18 million times as much estrogen as a regular whopper, according to Tri-State Livestock News.
Forty-four milligrams of estrogen!
By comparison, an entire month of estrogen tablets for transsexuals transitioning from male to female is 60 mg, and a year or so of that hormone regimen causes them to grow breasts, the penis and testicles to shrivel, and makes them infertile.
So, in reality, this is a depopulation burger..."

Blue State Blues: A Decade of Fake News | Breitbart:

The idea of a “decade in review” article at the end of 2019 is a bit of “fake news.” Technically, the current decade does not end until December 31, 2020.
In that spirit, it is worth looking back at the past ten years through the “fake news” lens. These were years in which the mainstream media used false allegations and biased reporting to suppress conservative voices; they were also the first years in which, thanks to Andrew Breitbart, we began to resist them.

Larry Elder: Fatherless Families Are No. 1 Problem in America, Not Racism | CNSNews
"Talk-show host, attorney, and best-selling author Larry Elder said the breakdown of the family -- fatherless families -- is the number one problem in America, not racism or discrimination or bad cops.
He added that when it comes to murder, nearly half of the homicides each year are black-on-black killings.
Commenting on The Rubin Report, Larry Elder said there is a liberal agenda at work and "the goal is to tell black people that we’re victims, that discrimination, racism remain major problems in America when, in fact, they don’t.
And they want black people to vote for the Democratic Party."...

Can You Change for Climate Change?Probably, but research shows that most people need behavioral “nudges” to do so; just the facts aren’t enoughBy Claudia Nisa, Jocelyn Bélanger on December 23, 2019Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has scolded world leaders for failing to save her generation from climate change, rallying youth climate strikes and taking millions of people to the streets worldwide, demanding action. For many, Thunberg’s emotional oratory is a spark...Thunberg’s sacrifice epitomizes the challenge underlying climate change: if global warming is to be curbed, comfortable lifestyles in developed countries must be amended......
