Republican Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe on Sunday blasted Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for continuing to delay moving the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate.
On Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo,” Ratcliffe was asked why Pelosi was continuing to sit on the two articles of impeachment against President Trump, and why she has not yet sent them to the Senate. Ratcliffe responded saying Senate Democrats know they don’t have enough evidence to move forward with the two articles of impeachment and that Pelosi “put a gun to her own head and she’s looking for Mitch McConnell to give her a way out” adding, “he’s not going to do that.”

Good read-----What "white privilege" means in small-town West Virginia

What "white privilege" means in small-town West Virginia
"Two years ago, my wife Mary and I relocated from Florida to West Virginia to be closer to our elderly parents.
We have witnessed traditional American values displayed in our tiny town of 500 which I've affectionately nicknamed Trump Country USA.
Our two shopping options are the country store/gas station or the Dollar General.
Lloyd MarcusI am one of probably ten blacks in town.
On a trip to the Dollar General, I saw an elderly white gentleman in the parking lot slowly returning his shopping cart to the store.
"I can take that for you sir." I said. "Thank you young man." he replied. Then he asked, "Do I know you? You look like someone I know."
I replied, "No sir. We moved here 2 years ago."
With a great warm smile, he said, "My name is Pop Kern. I'm 89 years old. I've lived here all my life." As we chatted, Pop Kern said, "At 9 years old, I milked 9 cows every morning before school and 9 cows after school. My pay was $5 a week."
I thought, I guess Pop Kern did not get the memo about what Democrats call his racist and unfair "white privilege."
He just got up every morning and did what he had to do to earn a living.
He lives in the home he grew up in which he owns and has acquired a second house.
I could tell he is a kind man who worked hard his entire life.
I've seen Pop Kern around town, walking in baby steps to pick up his mail at the post office.
He is always pleasant, giving me a wave, a smile or a have a good day.
It turns my stomach the way despicable evil Democrat presidential candidates say white men like Pop Kern are responsible for everything wrong in the world.
Democrats boldly proclaim that if elected president, they will punish Pop Kern; tax the heck out of him and force him to pay reparations to minorities and even illegal aliens..."

Pompeo Says People ‘Should Ask Mr. Soleimani’ If Trump Is Vulnerable Over Impeachment | The Daily Caller

Pompeo Says People ‘Should Ask Mr. Soleimani’ If Trump Is Vulnerable Over Impeachment | The Daily Caller:

We’re going to get the force posture right. We’re going to get our facilities as hardened as we can possibly get them, to defend against what Iran may potentially do.”
Pompeo suggested that they “are confident that the Iraqi people want the United States to continue to be there to fight the counterterrorism campaign.” He dismissed the Iraqi parliament’s decision to force all U.S. troops to leave the country, saying that “President Trump will never shy away from protecting and defending America.”

"Close to 400,000 anchor babies were born in the United States in 2019 as an executive order to end birthright citizenship gets kicked down the road for another year by President Donald Trump’s administration.
.. about 72,000 anchor babies are born to foreign tourists, foreign visa workers, and foreign students every year — all of whom obtain immediate American citizenship simply for being born within the parameters of the country..."

"Here's some "inside baseball" insights regarding recent "Healthy Michigan"

Michigan Republican Precinct Delegates--Patrick Colbeck shared a link.
"Here's some "inside baseball" insights regarding recent "Healthy Michigan" (aka Section 2001 of Obamacare or Medicaid Expansion) article.
The reason this story was published is because supporters of "Healthy Michigan" (i.e. hospitals, health plans, and Lansing swamp working on behalf of them) want to "shape the battlefield" in preparation for pending "reform" or "technical fix" legislation.
Why?
If our elected officials were to follow the law, "Healthy Michigan" would be automatically repealed this year due to triggers in existing law that revolve around actually saving taxpayers money.
This article indicates they do not intend to enforce existing law.
Be wary of any legislation touching MCL 400.105, 400.105a, 400.106, 400.107, 400.108, and 400.109c.
You want more money for roads?
Encourage our elected officials to follow law and $1.2B+ would be available with repeal of Medicaid Expansion in Michigan.
Remember, right after increasing your gas taxes, the supporters of "Healthy Michigan" in legislature moved ~$400M from Transportation budget to fill potholes in Medicaid Expansion😉
P.S. Best way to care for our poor on Medicaid is to repeal Certificate of Need and promote Direct Primary Care.

"Over the next few days, it will be hard to escape footage of huge crowds gathering in Iranian cities to mourn the death of Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian general killed by a U.S. drone strike.
For anyone watching, I have one piece of advice:
Don’t take what you’re seeing at face value.
This past November, thousands of Iranians took to the streets across the country to protest against the regime, in the biggest challenge to the clerical rule in 40 years.
According to Reuters, more than 1,500 people were killed by security forces, including units of Soleimani’s Revolutionary Guard, and at least 7,000 have been arrested..."

What Is NATO Good For?

Instapundit Blog Archive ASKING THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS (1991 EDITION): What Is NATO Good For?
Image result for NATO"It isn’t that NATO is entirely useless, it’s that NATO expansion has fed Russian paranoia while increasing NATO’s responsibilities — but without increasing NATO’s military capabilities.
That’s a recipe for failure, or at the very least for ongoing frustration and resentment.
My feeling about NATO when the Soviet Union dissolved was that the alliance should have thrown itself one hell of a victory party, and then dissolved itself, too.
That’s not to say we’d have abandoned Europe.
Almost certainly some sort of unwritten entente cordiale would have continued between us and our former allies, but the discontinuation of NATO may have forced leaders in Berlin et al. to take more seriously their own defense.
But that’s all water under the bridge now, and faced with renewed Russian aggression I suppose we have to wage peace with the alliance we have.--Posted by

"In case you haven’t noticed, there’s been a recent trend amongst younger parents to keep their children away from toys and clothes which cater specifically to boys or girls.
Parents who practice this trend do so believing that they will free their child from the gender norms which society has inflicted upon us.
...Soh goes on to explain that society has embraced the concept of “gender-neutral” all while ignoring scientific fact.
...We live in a society which embraces diversity and celebrates difference in everything, except, it seems, in the two creatures – male and female – which science tells us are naturally different..."
