"But the notion that Bill Barr should resign," he exclaimed emphatically, "is about the dumbest damn thing I have ever heard!"
Gowdy was referring to a disagreement between Bill Barr and prosecutors who withdrew from the case in protest when the DOJ chimed in and said Stone should face a far lesser punishment. Warren said Barr should resign or face a possible impeachment.

"The media, obviously, does not understand the extent to which right-leaning Americans loathe them.
The average conservative/populist/libertarian does not just disagree with the mainstream media.
They despise it.
This media, after all, has been labeling them racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, and any number of other recently-invented bigotries almost ceaselessly for decades." - Jonathon Van Maren"

"Limbaugh absolutely should have to suffer from cancer. it's awesome that he's dying, and hopefully it is as quick as it is painful,” Travis Sarandos, an English teacher at the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, said in a since-deleted tweet Feb. 3, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

More police officers per head now than fifty years ago, figures show

  • The police have more officers per capita than in the 1960s, challenging claims that they are understaffed, figures show.

"Despite claims that forces are struggling to cope, analysis of Home Office data shows that in 1961 there were 807 people for every police officer in England and Wales, whereas the most recent figures, released earlier this month in a House of Commons briefing paper, show that there are now 462 people for every officer.
Several police forces, as well as the police watchdog Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary, have said that recent cuts have left forces struggling to function properly.

The police were criticised for poor performance last week as the Daily Telegraph's data analysis showed that nine in ten burglaries were left unsolved.
The Metropolitan Police has also said that it would no longer look into lower-level crime as a result of spending cuts..."

  • Baltimore County residents’ have had their perceptions about where their glass ends up shattered.

"Over the weekend, news broke that the county—which does not include the City of Baltimore—has not been recycling the glass it’s been collecting as part of its recycling program.
For the past seven years, the jars and bottles that residents dutifully placed in their blue bins have been being junked instead.
...Glass recycling reportedly stopped in 2013, the same year the county opened a $23 million single-stream recycling facility, according to the Sun article..."

Two more bills would require the United States to cede authority and sovereignty to global institutions.
Omar called it an “international embarrassment” that the United States has not signed onto the controversial United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
However, that agreement would severely undermine U.S. sovereignty, as explained in a legal white paper from Americans United for Life in 2010:

Seems pretty logical.

After Attending a Trump Rally, I Realized Democrats Are Not Ready For 2020
"I think those of us on the left need to take a long look in the mirror and have an honest conversation about what’s going on.
If you had told me three years ago that I would ever attend a Donald Trump rally, I would have laughed and assured you that was never going to happen.
Heck, if you had told me I would do it three months ago, I probably would have done the same thing.
So, how did I find myself among 11,000-plus Trump supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire?
Believe it or not, it all started with knitting..."

It's the borrowing, stupid!!-----Whitmer borrows $3.5B without approval from voters, lawmakers

Whitmer borrows $3.5B without approval from voters, lawmakers
"The new bonds were authorized less than 24 hours after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's State of the State speech.
But Michiganders will be paying them off for 25 years.
Michigan lawmakers last year rejected Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s plan to make the state’s gas tax burden the highest in the nation.
So the governor is pursuing a new strategy – ignoring lawmaker and voter approval altogether in order to spend money on her preferred initiatives.
In her State of the State address Jan. 29, Whitmer announced she would borrow $3.5 billion to fund spending on roads and bridges.
The new debt – which taxpayers will be paying down for the next 25 years – was approved by an unelected state commission less than 24 hours after Whitmer’s speech..."
