The sun has entered a ‘lockdown’ period, which could cause freezing weather, famine
"Our sun has gone into lockdown, which could cause freezing weather, earthquakes and famine, scientists say.
The sun is currently in a period of “solar minimum,” meaning activity on its surface has fallen dramatically.
Experts believe we are about to enter the deepest period of sunshine “recession” ever recorded as sunspots have virtually disappeared.
...NASA scientists fear it could be a repeat of the Dalton Minimum, which happened between 1790 and 1830 — leading to periods of brutal cold, crop loss, famine and powerful volcanic eruptions.
Temperatures plummeted by up to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over 20 years, devastating the world’s food production...

McEnany Pulls a Dirty Trick, Uses USA Today Fact Check to Hammer a Reporter
"During a press conference yesterday White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnay pulled a dirty trick on the White House press corps.
She used a USA Today fact check to swat away a nasty reporter who tried to get her with a “gotcha question.”
The reporter asked “I want to ask you about the FDA guidance on the Abbott tests. But firstly, you’ve talked about all of this preparation that the Trump administration did, but then how come on January 2020, the stockpile was as low as it was on supplies like face masks, like N95s?”
McEnany, as usual was tactful yet brutal “Yeah, it’s a really good question. It’s a really important question.

McEnany, as usual was tactful yet brutal “Yeah, it’s a really good question. It’s a really important question.
Perhaps I should redirect your question to President Obama who left the stockpile empty.
And there was a USA Today fact check of that.”
“He left the cupboards bare, as the president noted, and USA Today said there’s no indication that the Obama administration took significant steps to replenish the supply of N95 masks in the Strategic National Stockpile after it was depleted from repeated crises, ” McEnay added. “So at the H1N1, it was full.

At the end of H1N1, it was empty and President Obama left it empty and took President Trump to refill it.”
"...The reporter then thought she had McEnany “Wait, your National Defense Biodefense Strategy came out in September 2018 and the President has been now in office for over three years at this point.”
McEnany handled it truthfully and brilliantly...

"At last we’re getting a debate about Covid-19 modelling.
When people finally got to look under the hood of the famous Imperial College study, they found twisted and tangled code.
And most of the model’s predictions bear little resemblance to what is actually happening.
Some defend the models by saying that their predictions turned out to be wrong only because governments imposed harsher restrictions than the coders expected.
If so, we have a perfect experiment.
So it should be the one country where the models fit.
Let’s see...
