A clear war on our national celebration by zealots of the Fundamentalist Atheist Religion-------9-Year-Old Suspended For Saying ‘Merry Christmas’ To Teacher

9-Year-Old Suspended For Saying ‘Merry Christmas’ To Teacher - National Report | National Report
San Francisco, CA — The ‘war on Christmas’ continues as a simple well-wishing of ‘Merry Christmas’ has led to big trouble for one fourth-grade San Francisco boy this week.
Timothy Dawson, a 9-year-old student at Argon Elementary School in San Francisco, CA., was in the school cafeteria Monday eating with friends when he was taken to the principal’s office and given a week-long suspension.
His punishment was consequence for saying ‘Merry Christmas’ to his homeroom teacher earlier that morning.
Dawson’s teacher, 35-year-old Paul Horner who is an outspoken Atheist, was offended at the students display of Christmas spirit and had staff suspend the young boy for the rest of the week.
“I say ‘Merry Christmas’ to everyone,” the boy told CNN. “I didn’t think it would cause so much trouble just for saying a couple little words.”

Arguably the most import and depressing article you will read in 2013----What Will It Take?

PJ Media » What Will It Take?:
"Let me begin with a categorical statement that, given current events and recent political history, can be easily defended: Barack Hussein Obama is a willful, indoctrinated child of the Left with strong Islamic sympathies who is not fit to govern.
Indeed, he would not be fit to govern Lower Slobovia, let alone the United States of America.
Obama is a historic disaster of the first magnitude and, if not restrained, he will see to the irrevocable decline of the country which foolishly elected him, leaving the world on the brink of a conflict — or in the midst of one — whose repercussions cannot be underestimated."

Husky abandoned on trash heap develops friendship with chihuahua | Mail Online:
"A dog who was discovered clinging to life on a pile of trash in a junk yard has been given a second chance by animal rescuers and made a stunning transformation.

The female husky was weak and covered in painful-looking mange when Eldad Hagar from Hope For Paws found her in a Los Angeles garbage dump.

In a moving video, Hagar shows the resilience of a dog who was abandoned and likely abused and left to die on a pile of garbage."

"The Center for American Progress is a left-wing organization that is closely associated with the Obama administration.
Its principal product is a web site called Think Progress.
Think Progress is part of the internet cesspool that modern liberalism has become.
Written by hack left-wing bloggers, it is bitterly hostile to free enterprise.

It is a low-rent site that traffics in the most absurd smears and conspiracy theories.
Many have wondered for some years who finances far-left web sites like Think Progress.
As of today, we know at least part of the answer, as CAP released its corporate donor list for the first time."

China's Colonization Of London Hits Ludicrous Speed, And Now: It's Detroit's Turn

China's Colonization Of London Hits Ludicrous Speed, And Now: It's Detroit's Turn | Zero Hedge
Which brings us to point number two: the latest target of the Chinese hot money colonization is none other than bankrupt Detroit.
"Detroit, broke with almost no prospects for recovery, is the fourth most popular U.S. destination for Chinese real estate investors In fact, it was bad news—the city’s July 18 bankruptcy filing—that triggered renewed interest.  “While the bankruptcy is viewed as a bad thing elsewhere, it raised the exposure level of Detroit’s real estate market in China,” says Evonne Xu, a Michigan attorney catering to Chinese purchasers.  Middle Kingdom, meet Motown.

Chinese shoppers can’t resist a bargain.  Where else can you buy a two-story home in the U.S. for $39?  China Central Television, the state broadcaster, in March reported that two houses in Detroit cost the same as a pair of leather shoes.  No wonder a poster on Sina Weibo, the Twitter-like service, asked, “Seven-hundred thousand people, quiet, clean air, no pollution, democracy—what are you waiting for?”

Who says the Chinese are waiting?  Dongdu International Group of Shanghai bought, sight unseen, two downtown icons, the David Stott building for $4.2 million and the Detroit Free Press building for $9.4 million, both at auction this September.

Moreover, Chinese purchasers are making bulk purchases of “inexpensive properties”—those selling for $25,000 or less—in the rings surrounding the city center.  “They’re banking on the downtown resurgence spiraling out into those rings,” explains Kelly Sweeney of Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel.  Mainland parties often buy at tax and foreclosure sales, hold their property, and patiently wait for appreciation."

It will be interesting to see if anyone votes against this----New Bill Would Allow You to Sell Event Tickets Without Fear of Arrest

A change that makes sense.
What a concept!
Let's see if they increase penalties on those who sell fake or stolen tix.
MichiganVotes: New Bill Would Allow You to Sell Event Tickets Without Fear of Arrest [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"Tickets to the Rose Bowl to see Michigan State play Stanford are hard to get and those who don't already have them will be further restrained if they try to buy them in Michigan because of a state law that makes it illegal to sell tickets above face value.
But a new bill would change that.
House Bill 5108, sponsored by Rep. Tim Kelly, R-Saginaw Township, would make it legal for people to sell tickets above face value on the secondary market in Michigan. "

Bush's fault--------Current Solar Activity Cycle Is Weakest in a Century

Current Solar Activity Cycle Is Weakest in a Century | Space.com:
"The sun's current space-weather cycle is the most anemic in 100 years, scientists say.

Our star is now at "solar maximum," the peak phase of its 11-year activity cycle. But this solar max is weak, and the overall current cycle, known as Solar Cycle 24, conjures up comparisons to the famously feeble Solar Cycle 14 in the early 1900s, researchers said.

"None of us alive have ever seen such a weak cycle. So we will learn something," Leif Svalgaard of Stanford University told reporters here today (Dec. 11) at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union. "

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters - Washington Times:
"A Chinese naval vessel tried to force a U.S. guided missile warship to stop in international waters recently, causing a tense military standoff in the latest case of Chinese maritime harassment, according to defense officials.

The guided missile cruiser USS Cowpens, which recently took part in disaster relief operations in the Philippines, was confronted by Chinese warships in the South China Sea near Beijing’s new aircraft carrier Liaoning, according to officials familiar with the incident."

Union thug rapes student, union thug lawyers rape taxpayers! Parents are stunned that the union is seeking a $10,000 severance for teacher who molested their son

Parents are stunned that the union is seeking a $10,000 severance for teacher who molested their son - EAGnews.org powered by Education Action Group Foundation, Inc
WEST BRANCH, Mich. – The Michigan Education Association is going to arbitration to try to force the West Branch-Rose City school district to pay a former teacher who was convicted of molesting a student a $10,000 severance buyout.

Neil Erickson coverThe father of the victim is outraged, calling the union’s efforts on behalf of the sex criminal “ludicrous” and saying any school money due to the teacher should go to his son, who is “out there trying to make it in this world all messed up.”
Neal Erickson, a former math teacher at Rose City Middle School, was convicted this summer of raping a young student over three years, from 2006 to 2009, and sentenced to 15-30 years in prison.
The case sparked community outrage when several of the district’s teachers wrote letters of support for Erickson, pleading for a lenient sentence. A school board member, Mike Eagan, also drew the public’s ire when he sat with the Erickson family at the pedophile’s sentencing.
The community rallied by the victim’s parents, John and Lori Janczewski, to urge the school board to terminate Erickson’s supporters, but officials ultimately decided to keep the teachers out of fear of legal retaliation.
Erickson pleaded guilty of first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor May 8.
Erickson was placed on paid administrative leave when state police launched an investigation in October 2012. Erickson was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct in December 2012.
On March 26, 2013 WB-RC officials offered a $10,000 buyout for any qualifying teacher who left the school district that year, an incentive superintendent Dan Cwayna said the district had used in the past to encourage needed staff reductions.
While its not clear when Erickson’s employment was terminated, the union’s action suggests he was still on the payroll when the buyout was offered and accepted it.

Obama penalizes banks, gives the moolah to his cronies at ACORN?!!! ----Kelly File Investigation: Who's Getting Paid After DOJ's $13 Billion Settlement With JPMorgan?

Kelly File Investigation: Who's Getting Paid After DOJ's $13 Billion Settlement With JPMorgan? | Fox News Insider:
" the settlement stipulates that the money will go to a group called NeighborWorks of America, which works to provide affordable housing and funds a network of community organizers.

In 2011, the group gave out $35 billion to 115 different organizations.
Critics argue that some of those groups are similar to ACORN, which was embroiled in a voter fraud scandal in 2008.

Megyn Kelly discussed the new revelations with Judge Andrew Napolitano, who called it a "perversion of justice for the federal government to extort billions of dollars from the second-largest bank in the United States and give it away to the president's political friends and favorite political causes."

Seven Principles of Sound Public PolicySeven Principles of Sound Public Policy [Mackinac Center]
1. Free people are not equal, and equal people are not free.
2. What belongs to you, you tend to take care of; what belongs to no one or everyone tends to fall into disrepair.
3. Sound policy requires that we consider long-run effects and all people, not simply short-run effects and a few people.
4. If you encourage something, you get more of it; if you discourage something, you get less of it.
5. Nobody spends somebody else's money as carefully as he spends his own.
6. Government has nothing to give anybody except what it first takes from somebody, and a government that's big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you've got.
7. Liberty makes all the difference in the world.

76-Year Old Burglary Victim Thwarts Theft with Gun:
"On December 10th, 76-year old Leon Winder found a burglar hiding in his closet.
He opened fire and later told reporters, "I was firing on him and he couldn't say nothing."
According to WVEC of Norfolk, Virginia, Winder called 911 after hearing strange noises in his home.
When Winder went into a barbershop attached to his house he found a coat on the floor.
As he bent down to pick it up, he saw 37-year old John Buck Fields hiding in the closet and shot at him twice.
Said Winder, "He didn't say nothing.
I was firing on him and he couldn't say nothing."
The wounded burglar fled the house and was later captured by police. "

These taxes didn't happen by mistake. Elected democrats and Barry Hussein put 'em there------More Hidden Taxes Funding ObamaCare

More Hidden Taxes Funding ObamaCare - My9 New Jersey:
"The new earned income tax to help fund Obamacare is 0.9%.
"Earned income is compensation from participation in a business, including wages, salary, tips, commissions and bonuses," Studnick explained.
This tax will be placed on any income earned over $200K for those who are single and any income earned over $250K for those who are married and filing jointly.

The new unearned income tax is more complicated. "The simple definition of unearned income is income derived from sources other than employment such as interest and dividends from investments, or income from rental property," Studnick said.
Your modified adjusted income over $200K if you’re single and over $250K if you’re married and filing jointly, will be compared to your unearned income.
The lesser of the two will be taxed at 3.8%."

School drops sexual harassment charge against boy | The Daily Caller:
"The six-year-old boy who was suspended for kissing his girlfriend on her hand will not have a charge of sexual harassment added to his permanent record, school officials announced.

Hunter Yelton was initially suspended for two days and charged with sexual harassment by officials at the elementary school in Canon City, Colo. But since the behavior — a kiss on the hand — was so innocuous, and the relationship consensual, his mother complained about the harshness of the charge.

Yelton didn’t know what sex was, but became more curious about it after learning he had been charged with sexual harassment. This led to an uncomfortable conversation between the boy and his mother, Jennifer Saunders. (RELATED: Sexual harassment charge for six-year-old who kissed his GF’s hand)"
