Liberal Outrage Over Ben Carson's Muslim Comments Just Backfired In A BIG way

Liberal Outrage Over Ben Carson's Muslim Comments Just Backfired In A BIG way:

"The controversy stirred by Ben Carson’s response to a question whether he would support a Muslim for president has worked to his campaign’s benefit, at least in two important ways.

According to ABC News, both donations and the candidate’s following on Facebook have increased significantly since he announced on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday that he would not support a person adhering to the Muslim faith to be President of the United States. Carson’s campaign relayed that the candidate’s Facebook page has picked up more than 100,000 new “likes” in the 24 hours since the interview. "

Slain Marine’s Father Reveals Horrifying Claim His Son Told Him Before He Was Killed: ‘At Night We Can Hear Them Screaming’ | TheBlaze.com:

"Before he was fatally shot in 2012, Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley Jr. told his father that at night he could hear Afghan officers sexually abusing young boys, but there was nothing he could do about it.

“At night we can hear them screaming, but we’re not allowed to do anything about it,” Gregory Buckley Sr., the Marine’s father, told the New York Times his son told him. “My son said that his officers told him to look the other way because it’s their culture.”

‘Morning Joe’ reminds Hillary started Muslim rumors

‘Morning Joe’ reminds Hillary started Muslim rumors:
"Joe Scarborough, co-host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, gave viewers a jarring reminder during Monday’s broadcast about the real roots of the rumors of President Obama and his Muslim beliefs – none other than Democratic White House hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Scarborough made the remarks while discussing Clinton’s criticisms of those who further the mantra of Obama’s Muslim ties and faiths – specifically, Donald Trump – to co-hose Mika Brzezinski and Bloomberg politics managing editor John Heilemann.
“It was rich this weekend,” Scarborough said, Breitbart reported, “for Hillary Clinton to come out and criticize anybody for spreading the rumors about Barack Obama when it all started with her, and her campaign, passing things around in the Democratic primary, rich.
Now listen, the Republicans are wrong for doing what they’re doing.
It started, this started with Hillary Clinton and it was spread by the Clinton team.”
Just in time for the 2016 election, hear Hillary Clinton say she would NOT run for president, in “Hillary Unhinged” by Thomas Kuiper
Brzezinski, meanwhile, added her two cents, speaking of the rumor actually originating with Clinton during a “60 Minutes” interview.
“We’re just telling the truth,” she said. “It was the case.”"

What could possibly go wrong?-----NYC plan trains lay people as mental health screeners

NYC plan trains lay people as mental health screeners - Yahoo News
NEW YORK (AP) —
...New York City is about to put that idea to a major test: a $30 million plan to provide mental health training to staffers at social service organizations.
They'll be prepared to screen people for possible psychological problems, provide information and try to motivate them to make changes in their lives.
"Everyone can be a healer," city first lady and mental health advocate-in-chief Chirlane McCray said in a statement.
...The World Health Organization has called nonprofessionals "a valuable resource for mental health care."
The White House led a push that is directing $15 million a year to train teachers in mental health first aid, which 450,000 people nationwide have taken since 2008.
About 1,000 people have gone through a separate program called "emotional CPR."
...— but sounding notes of caution.
...Advocates worry about non-professionals slipping from noticing possible problems to diagnosing them, or overblowing unusual behavior into mental illness.
Some researchers see having lay people do screenings as a recipe for false positives and unneeded follow-up; others, however, say it can accurately assess a community's psychological needs and link people to professional help.

Scientists Ask Obama To Prosecute Global Warming Skeptics

Scientists Ask Obama To Prosecute Global Warming Skeptics | The Daily Caller:
The science on global warming is settled, so settled that 20 climate scientists are asking President Barack Obama to prosecute people who disagree with them on the science behind man-made global warming.
Scientists from several universities and research centers even asked Obama to use the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to prosecute groups that “have knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change, as a means to forestall America’s response to climate change.”
RICO was a law designed to take down organized crime syndicates, but scientists now want it to be used against scientists, activists and organizations that voice their disagreement with the so-called “consensus” on global warming. The scientists repeated claims made by environmentalists that groups, especially those with ties to fossil fuels, have engaged in a misinformation campaign to confuse the public on global warming.
“The actions of these organizations have been extensively documented in peer-reviewed academic research and in recent books,” the scientists wrote.

Feds spend $1.5M studying how babies think about food

Feds spend $1.5M studying how babies think about food | Fox News:
"The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has spent nearly $1.5 million studying how infants think about food.
The project, "Infants' and Children's Reasoning About Foods," is being conducted by the University of Chicago and so far has determined that young children would rather not eat food that someone has licked or sneezed on.
...The premise for the study is that there is a dearth of research about how babies think about eating.
...The researchers characterize infants as having "limited knowledge in the food domain."
Children aged three to six years old are "more knowledgeable than infants and toddlers about foods" but are "notoriously picky eaters."

Iran took samples for IAEA at suspect military site - Yahoo News:

'via Blog this'Tehran (AFP) - Iran said Monday it independently collected samples at a suspect military site where illicit nuclear work is alleged to have occurred and later handed them to the UN's absent inspectors.

The disclosure that international monitors were not physically present is likely to feed critics of a nuclear deal between Iran and world powers, who have poured scorn on measures used to check if Tehran's atomic programme is peaceful.

Another accused student tries Title IX as a club to beat the hell out of his college - The College Fix
"College Fix readers are undoubtedly aware of the Occidental College sexual-assault case, which we’ve covered several times as a prime example of the near-impossibility of male students defending themselves against accusations even when hard evidence is solidly in their favor.
Embedded image permalinkEven when their accusers appear to have initiated sexual relations.
One due-process lawsuit and one Department of Education complaint later, the accused student “John Doe” has filed a second lawsuit against Occidental, this time claiming it discriminated against him based on his gender, City News Service reports:
The current suit alleges Title IX violations and maintains Occidental’s discipline of Doe occurred in part because of “internal and external forces demanding Occidental find more male students responsible for sexually assaulting female students.”
The complaint states that colleges and universities have been under pressure from the federal Department of Education’s Office [for] Civil Rights to address sexual violence on campus or face the withholding of federal education money.
His accuser is herself accused of initiating the sex – a claim validated by the investigator the school appointed – making this case different from many others where the parties either agreed the man initiated or neither could remember because they were so drunk.
Occidentally ultimately ruled that despite the female partner initiating, she was drunk, so she couldn’t consent.
This may be where the Title IX claim pays off..."

Trump suggested he could be “politically correct” and then asked, “Are you trying to say we don’t have a problem? Because I think everybody would agree … we certainly do have a problem. I mean, you have a problem throughout the world.”

“What’s the problem?” Tapper pressed."

The Real Reason Why Obama Received the Nobel Prize

The Real Reason Why Obama Received the Nobel Prize | The Daily Sheeple:
"President Obama caught a lot of flak when he was given the Nobel Prize in 2009. Even some of his supporters thought that the award was a little over the top, if not premature.
After all, Obama hadn’t really accomplished anything up to that point.
Previously he was a community organizer and a state Senator, and had only been president for a few months.
What had he actually done to earn the award?
It turns out, the reasons for the award were as absurd as many of Obama’s opponents had asserted at the time.
Geir Lundestad, the former director of the Nobel Institute, recently wrote a memoir of his career and revealed the real reason for Obama’s prize.
Apparently the award was an attempt to strengthen and encourage Obama (in light of his calls to limit the proliferation of nuclear weapons at the time), though he doesn’t think it had the desired effect since many of his supporters criticized the award.
“In retrospect, we could say that the argument of giving Obama a helping hand was only partially correct.”
He further added that “As such, it did not achieve what the committee had hoped for.”...

Army Chief Blames Obama for Rise of ISIS! - Eagle Rising

Army Chief Blames Obama for Rise of ISIS! - Eagle Rising:

"Outgoing Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno finally feels comfortable enough to speak his mind on the situation in Iraq, but the Obama administration might not like what he had to say.

Gen. Odierno is just a few weeks out from retiring and recently sat down for an interview with Fox News where he covered a host of military topics and discussed the future of our nation’s military. However, I think the part of the interview that most Americans will remember (and that hopefully the media will focus on) is Odierno’s decision to give a frank assessment of the situation in Iraq."

Liberalism must submit to Islam...says Islam

Liberalism must submit to Islam...says Islam:
"Islamist group Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) said today that liberalism can only co-exist with Islam if it is willing to submit to an Islamic system, as the ideology is a malleable man-made system compared to a religion that is bestowed by God.
Speaking in a forum on liberalism and faith, Isma president Abdullah Zaik Abd Rahman said Islam cannot be reformed or amended by any parties, chiding so-called “liberal Muslim” for using Western philosophies born of “dark ages” in doing so.
“Liberalism can live hand-in-hand with faith, only if it’s willing to live under an Islamic system,” Abdullah said in the Liberalism Conference held by think-tank Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS).
“If liberalism tries to redefine or reform Islam following the demands of liberal basis, that maybe can never be accepted by Islam.”"
