Judge Napolitano Reveals Clinton's Options In Last Phase Of FBI Investigation
Judge Napolitano Reveals Clinton's Options In Last Phase Of FBI Investigation:

"As Hillary Clinton secured the final superdelegates needed to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee — at least according to The Associated Press — a federal investigation into her use of an unsecured email server for State Department business reportedly nears its conclusion. Fox News’ Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on “Your World” to elaborate on the potential repercussions of the investigation’s last stage."

Obama legacy will be power blackouts
Obama legacy will be power blackouts:
President Obama is burning his so-called bridges to a “green energy” future that will leave America’s families and industries powerlessly impoverished.
And as for any prospects that truly clean non-fossil nuclear or hydropower can make up the slack, forget about that too.
President Obama is burning his so-called bridges to a “green energy” future that will leave America’s families and industries powerlessly impoverished.
Any notions that generously subsidized solar and wind will significantly compensate capacity losses from shuttered coal plants and overregulated oil and natural gas suppliers are scientifically and economically delusional.
Let’s start with some simple arithmetic. If you have heard some really exciting news that the Obama Administration has already doubled the amount of total U.S. energy derived from “renewable alternative” sources (solar, wind, and biofuels), that would be true.
Thanks largely to $150 billion in generous federal subsidies, combined total renewables (not including hydropower) grew from supplying slightly more than 2% of our “primary fuel” (including electricity) to a whopping 4% today.
Meanwhile over the same period, the total increase of non-subsidized oil and gas also doubled, but added eight times more energy than the total growth of wind, solar, and biofuels combined. Oil and gas now supply about 63% of all U.S. primary fuel. Coal provides another 19%.
Greenpeace Faces a Resolute Opponent

"Finally, courage to counterpunch the green bullies.
When the name Resolute was chosen in 2011, after the merger of Bowater and Abitibi-Consolidated, the Canadian company, a global leader in the forest products industry and the largest producer of newsprint in the world, likely didn’t know what a harbinger it was.
Today, it stands alone, set in purpose, with firmness and determination.
Displaying the rare courage to stand up to the typical environmental extremists’ campaign of misinformation and shaming designed to shut it down, Resolute Forest Products is fighting back.
Many people are probably unaware of the shakedown tactics used by groups whose touchy-feely names belie their true goals.
Like most companies, Resolute originally went along.
As Peter Foster explains in the Financial Post: “a cabal of radical environmental non-governmental organizations, ENGOs — including Greenpeace, ForestEthics and the David Suzuki Foundation — agreed to stop their campaigns of customer harassment in return for the members of the Forest Products Association of Canada, FPAC, agreeing to sanitize a swathe of the Canadian Boreal forest, and to ‘consult’ on development plans.
...Despite that, using a campaign of lies and intimidation, ENGOs have constantly attacked Resolute. At one point, in 2012, the false claims were so egregious, Resolute threatened legal action against Greenpeace — which garnered an unprecedented apology and retraction from Greenpeace.
However, it came back with vengeance.
Greenpeace continued to publicize the same false statements and dubbed Resolute a Boreal forest “destroyer.”
Engaged in a war without violence, Greenpeace has since attacked Rite-Aid Pharmacy for “getting millions of pounds of paper from controversial logging giant Resolute Forest Products,” calling Resolute “a company with a history of environmental destruction.”
Greenpeace was successful with a similar harassment campaign against Best-Buy. Resolute was the company’s primary paper supplier, but due to the shaming, Best-Buy announced it would seek other sources.
Greenpeace has no plans to stop the tactic.
Other targeted companies include Canadian Tire (a retailer with more than 1,700 outlets), Home Depot and Office Depot, Proctor & Gamble and 3M.
Foster reports: “Greenpeace itself has calculated that its campaigns have cost Resolute at least $100 million.”
Somewhere between the Greenpeace retraction and May 2013, an epiphany — similar to what occurred between the president of the U.S. and the space alien in the movie Independence Day — must have taken place.
...On May 23, 2013, Resolute filed a lawsuit against Greenpeace claiming it damaged the company’s “business, goodwill and reputation.”
The suit asserts defamation, malicious falsehood, and intentional interference with economic relations and seeks damages of $5 million as well as punitive damages of $2 million, plus costs.
...While the Canadian lawsuit makes its way through the courts and the appeals process, Resolute has just taken another bold step to defend itself against the green bully’s attacks.
On May 31, Resolute took a page from the ENGO’s playbook and, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, filed a civil RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) suit against Greenpeace and a number of its associates who, though they claim to be independent, act cooperatively..."

The Robot Judge
The Robot Judge | Scott Adams Blog:
"If you have been watching CNN, you know Anderson Cooper has been reporting about the discovery that a sitting judge is actually a robot.
His name is Gonzalo Curiel and he is presiding over the Trump University case.
Curiel looks human on the outside, and he has passed as human for decades.
But Cooper made it clear in his interviews yesterday that while science understands that 100% of humans are biased about just about everything, this robot judge is not susceptible to being influenced by his life experiences.
It sounds deeply implausible, but no one on CNN challenged Cooper’s implication that Judge Curiel is the only bias-free entity in the universe.
Ergo, he must be a robot.
Anyway, lots of folks on Twitter are asking me why Trump would accuse the robot judge of being “Mexican” when that is obviously a racist thing to say.
Did Trump make a huge mistake, or is it some sort of clever persuasion thing?
Let’s dig into that.
For starters, it isn’t appropriate to label people – or robots – “Mexicans” if those people or robots are created in America.
For example, I have an American friend with Italian heritage who often refers to herself as “Italian,” and obviously that is a case of self-racism.
I find it offensive.
This problem isn’t limited to my one friend.
I also know an American who calls herself Croatian and another American who calls himself Indian. I can barely stand to be in the same room with those racists.
Worse yet, they seem unclear about the distinction between their ethnicity and the country where their parents grew up.
It isn’t the same thing, people!
But right-and-wrong aside, is it a good legal strategy for Trump to sow doubts about the objectivity of the robot judge?
It seems to me that the trial can go one of two ways.
1. Trump wins in court, in which case, Trump wins.
2. Trump loses in court, in which case, Trump says Democrats rigged the system to give him an unfair trial. We’re already primed to believe it.
From a legal perspective, race is not a reason to remove a judge.
I haven’t heard anyone argue otherwise.
But from a persuasion perspective, Trump is setting the stage for whatever is to come.
So yes, it is smart, albeit offensive.
Some have asked why Trump’s legal team hasn’t asked for the judge to be replaced. My guess is that they want to keep him because they expect to lose the case and they plan to pin it on the judge.
That’s how I would play it..."

The emotional moment firefighters salute Bretagne - the last surviving 9/11 search dog - as she arrives to be euthanized at the age of sixteen
Bretagne, a 16-year-old golden retriever, was euthanized on Monday in a Texas veterinary hospital.
With a host of honors to her name and countless searches behind her, Bretagne was honored - as any human would be - one final time before her death.
A row of firefighters stood at attention as Bretagne walked with her owner, Denise Corliss, into the Fairfield Animal Hospital in Cypress, Texas.

Bretagne began suffering from kidney failure and when she stopped eating, Corliss knew it was time to say goodbye.
'She was really anxious last night and she just wanted to be with me.
'So I laid down with her, right next to her. When she could feel me, she could settle down and go to sleep. I slept with her like that all night,' Corliss told TODAY..."

"But for outspoken Milwaukee Co. Sheriff David Clarke, the violence — and the response to it — was reminiscent of how southern blacks were treated in the Jim Crow era.

Here’s what Clarke had to say on “Hannity” Monday night:
Well, this is premeditated organized violence and these are riot-makers that show up at these events. What the mayor said was obviously ridiculous. But Sean, what I’m ticked off about right now is why Attorney General Loretta Lynch has not dispatched the FBI and dispatched lawyers from the Civil Rights Division to investigate and prosecute and identify people who are using the same type of tactics that were used in the Jim Crow South to frighten and intimidate blacks from participating in the voting process."

Rush Reveals True Motive Behind Violent Anti-Trump Rioters... And He's EXACTLY Right
Rush Reveals True Motive Behind Violent Anti-Trump Rioters... And He's EXACTLY Right:
"On Thursday, celebrated conservative talk radio show host Rush Limbaugh revealed the true motive behind the increasing number of violent anti-Trump riots that appeared to be popping up across California.
“These riots, the most recent one, San Jose, they’re not riots against Trump; they’re riots against Trump supporters … and beyond that, they’re really anti-America riots,” he said, adding that the protests were designed to prevent other Americans from “exercising their constitutional right to express their political opinion.”
Moreover, the behavior of these protesters perfectly mirrored the behavior of students at various colleges and universities, where events hosted by conservative speakers were being hijacked left and right by those who felt offended by the speakers’ opinions.
In arguing his point about such protesters being anti-American in nature, Limbaugh then pointed to all the photos and videos of anti-Trump zealots wearing hats that read either “Make California Mexico Again” or “Make America Mexico Again.”
He also noted the frequent occurrence of American flags being trampled on and burned.
Why all the anti-American imagery, huh, if these protests were indeed just about Trump?

With some 100 million Americans now receiving government assistance in one form or another, it’s only a matter of time before glitches or all out system failure leads to civil unrest.

While we understand that Electronic Benefits Transfer cards, unemployment and other social support mechanisms are necessary for those who may have temporarily come upon hard times in an economic environment wrought with fraud and machinations that have left hard working Americans in dire straits, the fact is that millions upon millions of people feel entitled to the benefits they receive from the taxpayer and have made sitting on the couch, smoking weed, and getting paid a career.
And when those benefits disappear for whatever reason we can expect the following, but on a mass scale:
Via TruNews:
A large woman destroyed a convenience store after having her food stamp benefits card declined, according to a video uploaded to Live Leak Thursday.
“Call the police, call the police,” the unnamed woman says repeatedly in the video as she lumbers around the store causing havoc. “Call the police. Do your job, do your job.”
The woman had already knocked some food on the floor before one patron decided to start filming the incident. She appears belligerent as she repeats inaudible and barely audible statements. The woman walks with a limp from an apparent injury as she threw food around. She even throws an empty container of Cheetos at a man who tried to calm her down.
This isn’t the first such incident and it certainly won’t be the last as an evermore impoverished populace becomes increasingly dependent on government handouts.
In 2013 we reported that the EBT card acceptance system in 16 states crashed, leaving thousands with no way to put food on their dinner tables. As further evidence of what may happen following a widespread outage wherein those on government assistance have no way of buying food and other necessities, consider what this woman had to say:
I go to the register and they ask me “how you going to pay.”
I said with food stamps.
“Oh, we’re shut down, you can’t pay with food stamps.”
I got kids to feed. You know?
And because the government’s down I can’t feed my family?
…
What’s going on with America? Now they trying to starve us to death?
…This is crazy
…I got six kids I have to feed.
…
I’m just trying to figure out how to get something to eat.
The Donald & The La Raza Judge
The Donald & The La Raza Judge - Pat Buchanan:
"Before the lynching of The Donald proceeds, what exactly was it he said about that Hispanic judge?
Stated succinctly, Donald Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over a class-action suit against Trump University, is sticking it to him.
And the judge's bias is likely rooted in the fact that he is of Mexican descent.
Can there be any defense of a statement so horrific?
Just this.
The Post, which Bob Woodward tells us has 20 reporters digging for dirt in Trump's past, had a field day.
And who is Curiel?
An appointee of President Obama, he has for years been associated with the La Raza Lawyers Association of San Diego, which supports pro-illegal immigrant organizations.
...All of us are products of our family, faith, race and ethnic group.
And the suggestion in these attacks on Trump that judges and justices always rise about such irrelevant considerations, and decide solely on the merits, is naive nonsense.
There are reasons why defense lawyers seek "changes of venue" and avoid the courtrooms of "hanging judges."
When Obama reflexively called Sgt. Crowley "stupid" after Crowley's 2009 encounter with that black professor at Harvard, and said of Trayvon Martin, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon," was he not speaking as an African-American, as well as a president?
Pressed by John Dickerson on CBS, Trump said it's "possible" a Muslim judge might be biased against him as well.
Another "inexcusable" outrage.
But does anyone think that if Obama appointed a Muslim to the Supreme Court, the LGBT community would not be demanding of all Democratic Senators that they receive assurances that the Muslim judge's religious views on homosexuality would never affect his court decisions, before they voted to put him on the bench?
...The most depressing thing about this episode is to see Republicans rushing to stomp on Trump, to show the left how well they have mastered their liberal catechism."

That’s why this is done to strike fear and intimidation in the hearts of these people who want to come and hear the candidate of their choice. This is constitutionally protected. This is a Civil Rights violation and they are entitled to that same equal rights protection under the law as anybody else or any of the other protected class. It appears to me that the United States Department of Justice doesn’t care what happening because these people are white and they’re Trump supporters.

$4.8 million to boost efforts to restore Detroit River habitats - Crain's Detroit Business:
"Efforts to restore wildlife habitats on and around islands in the lower part of the Detroit River are getting a $4.8 million boost.
U.S. Sens. Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow of Michigan on Friday announced the funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to part of the Friends of the Detroit River's Stony Island Habitat Restoration Project. The area is important for fish spawning.
In a statement, Stabenow said the funding "will strengthen habitats around Stony Island so that fish and wildlife can flourish once again, making the Detroit River a destination for anglers and all who enjoy Michigan's natural beauty."
The senators also noted that $2.3 million was awarded in February to restore fish and wildlife habitats in the Stony Island upper bay."

When I hear people say Clinton emails don't matter, I remember a young Marine captain who owned up to his career-ruining mistake.
Apologists for Hillary Clinton’s alleged criminal mishandling of classified documents say that it doesn’t matter, that she really did nothing wrong, or nothing significant.
But the real question is not so much what she did as how she has responded to being found out.
Once during the mid-1960s when I was on active duty in the Marine Corps, I was the air liaison officer for a battalion of Marines aboard 11 ships in the Mediterranean.
As the air officer and a senior captain, I had a rotating responsibility for the nuclear code book, kept in the safe in the operations room of the lead amphibious squadron command ship.
I shared that duty with another captain, a squared away young man, liked by all he commanded and the son of a very high-ranking Marine.
On the day our ships were leaving the Mediterranean, we met the new amphibious squadron near Gibraltar and made preparations to transfer security codes and other sensitive material to the incoming Marine battalion.
The young captain was on duty and went to the operations office to pick up the code book.
He was alone in the office.
He removed the code book and placed it on the desk while closing the safe. In a rushed moment, he stepped across the passageway to retrieve something he needed from his quarters.
Seconds later, he stepped back into the operations office and found the operations sergeant having just entered, looking down at the code book.
Against all regulations, the code book had been out of the safe and unattended.
It mattered not that it was unattended for only seconds, that the ship was 5 miles at sea, or that it was certain no one unauthorized had seen the code.
The captain could have explained this to the operations sergeant.
He could have told the sergeant that he “would take care of it.”
He could have hinted that his high-ranking dad could smooth it over.
But the Marine Corps’ values are honor, courage and commitment.
Honor is the bedrock of our character.
The young captain could not ask the sergeant to betray his duty to report the infraction, no matter how small. Instead, the captain simply said, “Let’s go see the colonel....”
Read on and see real honor:

As the air officer and a senior captain, I had a rotating responsibility for the nuclear code book, kept in the safe in the operations room of the lead amphibious squadron command ship.
I shared that duty with another captain, a squared away young man, liked by all he commanded and the son of a very high-ranking Marine.

Electric Bikes Won Over China. Is the US Next?
Electric Bikes Won Over China. Is the US Next? - Slashdot:
"Sales of electric-bike is growing in many parts of the world.
Asia-Pacific region, for instance, is estimated to see 32.8M of them sell this year, and 1.6m of e-bikes are expected to be sold in Western Europe by the end of this year.
In China, in particular, the ban on motorcyle has lead to massive e-bike adoption.
Over the years we've seen many companies such as BG and Pedego dish out models after models, offering bikes ranging from elegant folding versions to flat-tire variants.
Despite all the growth elsewhere in the world, North America and Latin America are estimated to see less than 250,000 inventories move this year.
But going forward, the number is likely to see a major growth.
From a Bloomberg article:
Electrics "finally have legs to be able to take off in the U.S.," because cyclists are feeling safer on the roads, battery and motor technology is improving, and retail prices are dropping, says Todd Grant, president of the National Bicycle Dealers Association.
However, e-bikes have been banned in some U.S. cities because of safety concerns. [...]
The U.S. market could develop "way faster" than Europe's did, says Claus Fleischer, who heads Bosch's e-bike division.
The German multinational began selling motors and batteries for electric bikes in 2011 and now supplies more than 60 brands, primarily in Europe.
It opened a subsidiary in Irvine, Calif., in 2014 and is sponsoring e-bike expos across the U.S., including one in Portland, Ore., that ran for three days in late May."

Gluten-Free Water? A Fad Without a Grain of Sense
Gluten-Free Water? A Fad Without a Grain of Sense - WSJ
"Gluten-free foods have swept across America. Millions of consumers are convinced that a diet devoid of gluten—a protein found in wheat, barley and rye—is the cure-all for everything from dementia and schizophrenia to diabetes and obesity.
This fear has become so widespread that the market for gluten-free foods is estimated to hit $15 billion by the end of this year, according to the research firm Mintel.
Food marketers have even slapped the gluten-free label on products that never would have contained it:
For instance, Hint sells fruit-flavored bottled water that it proclaims as gluten-free.
No kidding.
Countless nutritionists and health reporters have called out the gluten-bashing for what it is: overblown.
Yet the fad speaks to a long-held American tendency to value foods based on what they lack, rather than on, say, their taste, seasonality or overall nutritional value.
That mind-set took hold during the fat-free frenzy of the 1980s and ’90s.
Over time, being bombarded by nutritional claims on labels has taught Americans to reduce foods to tallies, loading up on or avoiding grams of this or that specific nutrient or ingredient.
Gluten is only today’s demon.
Let’s get some numbers out on the table.
According to the National Institutes of Health, about 1% of Americans have celiac disease, a serious immune reaction triggered by gluten that damages the small intestine.
About 6% are estimated to have non-celiac gluten sensitivity, a far less severe condition that is not yet well understood but appears to be associated with symptoms such as diarrhea and constipation, headaches and fatigue, according to the Celiac Disease Foundation.
One more number: Almost a third of Americans are trying to avoid gluten..."

EXPOSED: Truth About Anti-Trump Judge Finally Comes Out... Look Who He REALLY Is:
"The judge in the Trump University case, who has been frequently criticized by Donald Trump’s lawyers for perceived political bias, has been revealed to have been a member of a legal group affiliated with the largest radical Hispanic organization in the United States.
According to a report in The Daily Caller, Judge Gonzalo Curiel revealed that he was a member of La Raza Lawyers of San Diego during a questionnaire before his appointment as a federal judge in 2011.
On the group’s home page, its “community” links include the radical group La Raza.
La Raza, which translates literally as “the race,” has been critical of Trump’s campaign, even going as far as calling “Saturday Night Live” a “platform for hate” when “SNL” allowed Trump to appear on the show last year."

"A former CIA official who specializes in detecting deception is offering his take on on whether former State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told the truth when she claimed she had nothing to do with the “deliberate” editing of a 2013 exchange about the status of U.S. nuclear talks with Iran.
In a piece published at LawNewz on Monday, Phil Houston, now the CEO of QVerity, shared what he first noticed as potentially questionable regarding Psaki’s claims — specifically as it related to Psaki’s June 1 tweet in which she denied having anything to do with the editing."
