Eric Mar, a supervisor in the city, put forth a proposed charter amendment on Tuesday that would allow illegal immigrants who have kids that are 18 years or younger in the public school system the right to vote in local school board elections, Fox News reports.
...The current ballot measure is the third such attempt to give voting rights to illegal immigrants in San Francisco.

This little puppy is particularly tenacious as it copies itself onto any connected storage device or service.
That is network shares and USB drives.
So if another person uses that drive or that network share they get this nasty virus which behaves like a worm and they are out $542 per PC.
For folks running Varonis’ solution there are a few easy steps to at least contain this thing and locate the sources so they can be eliminated and accounts locked preventing the spread of the damned thing.
Now what makes Zcrypt particularly nasty is this Virus aspect it has, typically someone has to trick you into installing Ransomware but with this and an increasing host of virus like Ransomware you may just have to hit the wrong web page or file share.

Flying Dog first came on the scene in 1990, but drew national criticism in 2009 after its Belgian IPA was pushed out of the market by Michigan’s Liquor Control Commission (LCC) over objections to its off-color brand name: Raging Bitch.

"Just 13 percent of the local governments whose retirement systems are administered by a statewide entity have set aside enough money to pay the pensions promised to their workers.
The Municipal Employees’ Retirement System (MERS) administers pension systems for 728 local cities, villages, townships, agencies and more.
But only 97 of those systems have adequately funded their pension obligations, according to the operation’s most recent report that covers up to Dec. 31, 2014.
Local government employees covered by MERS are owed some $12 billion worth of retirement benefits — but their employers have not set aside enough to cover the full amount.
Taxpayers in those communities on the hook for $3.5 billion worth of unfunded liabilities.
..."Pensions are going to be a huge issue nationally," he said.
"Unfunded pension liabilities are estimated to be as high as $4 trillion. 
In 2015, the Treasury Department collected $1.5 trillion in income taxes. 
Thus, to close the pension funding gap, you would have to divert all income taxes toward pensions for nearly three years straight.

"The federal subsidy known as the "Obamaphone" or "Obamanet" program could be losing nearly $500 million to fraud annually, according to a top Republican on the Federal Communications Commission.
Commissioner Ajit Pai made the accusation Wednesday in letter to the Universal Service Administrative Company, referring to the FCC's Universal Service Fund, which provides a monthly $9.95 subsidy for telecom service to low-income consumers.
The subsidy is limited to one per "independent economic household," or IEH, but telecom companies have the ability to override that restriction if applicants check a box stating they represent a separate household, even if they have the same address.
Pai wrote that data obtained by the FCC last month revealed carriers had enrolled nearly 4.3 million subscribers using the IEH override process between October 2014-April 2016, or 35.5 percent of total subscribers for the period.
"It is alarming that over one-third of subscribers — costing taxpayers almost half a billion dollars a year — were registered through an IEH override..."
