Obama Paid for Terrorism With $400 Million in Untraceable Cash | Glenn Beck

Obama Paid for Terrorism With $400 Million in Untraceable Cash | Glenn Beck:

"How stupid do they think we are?

Obama paid the number one sponsor of terror $400 million dollars in cash under the cover of night. Nothing nefarious about that, right? How about the fact that it wasn’t paid from an account with frozen Iranian assets as we were led to believe, but with U.S. tax dollars?"

Clinton calls Iran 'ransom' story 'old news' | Washington Examiner:

"Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton dismissed reports this week that the U.S. State Department gave Iran $400 million at the same time that it released American hostages as "old news."

"The White House has addressed this," she said in an interview Wednesday with a Colorado-based NBC News affiliate. "This is kind of old news.""

Bill Clinton Got Money From Big Sharia Law Education Firm

Bill Clinton Got Money From Big Sharia Law Education Firm | The Daily Caller:
"Former President Bill Clinton collected $5.6 million in fees from GEMS Education, a Dubai-based company that teaches Sharia Law through its network of more than 100 schools in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.
The company’s finances strictly adhere to “Sharia Finance,” which includes giving “zakat,” a religious tax of which one-eighth of the proceeds is dedicated to funding Islamic jihad.
The company also contributed millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.

Obama’s Cash for Iran’s Hostages

Obama’s Cash for Iran’s Hostages - WSJ:
"When is a payment for hostages not a ransom?
When the Obama Administration says so.
Image result for obama gangster governmentThat’s how the State Department has tried to spin a $1.7 billion settlement the U.S. reached with Tehran in January, when the nuclear deal was finalized and Tehran released five American hostages, including Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian.
The Administration insists the payment merely settled a separate dispute related to the aborted sale of military equipment to the Shah of Iran in 1979.
New reporting by the Journal’s Jay Solomon and Carol Lee blows apart this story.
On the day the U.S. hostages came home from Iran, an unmarked cargo plane landed in Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport with cash amounting to $400 million of euros, Swiss francs and other currencies.
U.S. law forbids direct dollar transactions with Iran, and the $400 million in cash wasn’t disclosed to Congress.
Justice Department officials objected but were overruled.
One reason the Administration is keen to deny that the cash was ransom is because it had already paid a high price by freeing seven Iranians charged or convicted of U.S. crimes and dropping extradition requests for 14 others.
But the Iranians weren’t satisfied..."

Those Hacked DNC Emails——-It Was NSA, Not Putin

Those Hacked DNC Emails——-It Was NSA, Not Putin | David Stockman's Contra Corner:
"On the eve of the Democratic National Convention, WikiLeaks — the courageous international organization dedicated to governmental transparency — exposed hundreds of internal emails circulated among senior staff of the Democratic National Committee during the past 18 months.
At a time when Democratic Party officials were publicly professing neutrality during the party’s presidential primaries, the DNC’s internal emails showed a pattern of distinct bias toward the candidacy of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a marked prejudice toward the candidacy of Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Some of the emails were raw in their tone, and some could fairly be characterized as failing to respect Sanders’ Jewish heritage.
...In order to take everyone’s eyes off this intrusive and uncomfortable bouncing ball, the leadership of the DNC, in conjunction with officials of the Clinton campaign, blamed the release of the DNC emails on hackers employed by Russian intelligence agents.
Many in the media picked up this juicy story and repeated it all last week.
Clinton promptly named Wasserman Schultz as a campaign consultant and complained that the Russians are trying to influence the presidential election. She did not complain about the unfairness manifested in the emails, complete with their religious prejudice; she only complained about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s helping Donald Trump.
But the Russians had nothing to do with it.
Last week, William Binney, a 30-year career official at the National Security Agency turned whistleblower, revealed the unthinkable.
Binney, who devised the software that the NSA has used to capture the contents of emails and cellphone conversations of all in America but resigned from the NSA because of the unlawful and unconstitutional manner in which the software was used, told a Philadelphia radio audience that the DNC hacking was most likely done by NSA agents.
Why would the NSA hack into DNC computers, and why would the NSA leak what its agents saw?
Here is where the deep state meets the political world.
The deep state consists of intelligence, military, law enforcement and administrative agency personnel who aggressively protect their own interests, which transcend elections.
Stated differently, many of these folks remain in opaque positions of power, and th
...The deep state stays in power by a variety of means, some of which are lawful and not the least of which was visited upon the DNC last week.
Binney knows the inside workings of NSA computers because he designed them.
He knows how easy it would have been for any of the NSA’s 60,000 agents, many of whom have great antipathy toward Clinton, to employ their skills to frustrate her drive toward the presidency..."

Look at Norton Shores!!-----Detroit Was Just the Beginning: The Crisis of City Pension Systems in Michigan

Detroit Was Just the Beginning: The Crisis of City Pension Systems in Michigan [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
In 2014, Detroit retirees learned the consequences of waiting too long to reform pensions. Retirees took a $1.3 billion hit to their pensions because of a mismanaged and underfunded system. Michigan taxpayers had to pay $200 million to clean up the problem.
But other municipalities around Michigan have underfunded systems, too, and only some are taking concrete steps to solve the problem.
Michigan Capitol Confidential looked at Michigan’s 100 largest cities and found that 80 of the systems were underfunded. Combined, these 80 cities and townships have only saved 62 percent of what they will need to pay the pensions of future retirees. Even after Detroit's recent bankruptcy settlement, their total unfunded liability equaled $4.6 billion.
Five cities contributed the most to this liability, responsible for over half the total. Detroit comes in at the top of the list with a $1.6 billion liability. Flint’s unfunded liability is $285 million, Lansing’s is $246 million, Warren’s is $207 million and Sterling Heights' is $166 million. The total unfunded liability of these four cities is $2.5 billion.
Of the 20 cities that are not considered underfunded, most (14) offer a defined contribution retirement plan instead of a defined benefit pension plan.
Of the remaining six cities, five have closed their defined benefit plan and are paying off accrued liabilities, while all new employees join a defined contribution plan. Only Kalamazoo has a defined benefit plan that is fully funded and still open to new employees.
Rochester Hills, the 21st-largest city in Michigan, has never offered a defined benefit pension plan to its employees. Since its incorporation in 1984, the city has never had any retiree liabilities and Mayor Bryan Barnett says this has allowed it to fund other priorities.
"Maintaining a defined contribution program has allowed us the financial freedom to invest in our infrastructure as well as quality-of-life components our residents enjoy,” Barnett said. “Strong conservative fiscal management has positioned our city in the top 5 percent for financial stability in the state and certainly is one of the reasons we've been named one of the top ten places to live in America."
Pension problems vary in severity across Michigan. Grand Rapids, the state’s second-largest city, closed its plan to new employees in 2014 and is now 97 percent funded.
Ann Arbor and Dearborn are funded at 88 and 89 percent, respectively. Ann Arbor has a liability of $65 million while Dearborn is underfunded by $20 million.
Some cities are much worse off. Taylor, Saginaw and East Lansing are funded at less than 60 percent, meaning they’ve only put aside a bit more than half of what will be needed...

Venezuela -- Starvation & Economic Collapse Have Led to Citizens' Enslavement | National Review

Venezuela -- Starvation & Economic Collapse Have Led to Citizens' Enslavement | National Review:

"Violence is always at the end of the socialist enterprise, as the poor people of Venezuela are discovering. Our friends on the Left assured us for many years that Boss Hugo and his epigones in the regime of Nicolás Maduro were democratic socialists, not the mean Stalinist type, and the praises of that so-called democratic-socialist regime were sung by everyone from Democratic congressmen such as Chaka Fattah of Philadelphia to progressive celebrities such as Sean Penn.

The democratic socialists in Venezuela have just introduced slavery into their workers’ paradise."

White Americans need not apply-----Illegal immigrant lands nearly $300,000 in college scholarships

Illegal immigrant lands nearly $300,000 in college scholarships | EAGnews.org:
"CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A recent Chattanooga high school graduate is heading off to the University of Chicago with nearly $300,000 in scholarships and is working to raise more money for living expenses.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press published a glowing profile about a high-performing undocumented student at a local high school who was brought to America illegally by his parents when he was 5 years old.
The news site did not use the student’s real name, and shielded his parents’ identity, but supposedly confirmed that the teen graduated from a Chattanooga high school at the top of his class with a background in social justice activism that appealed to the university.
“I became active in Black Lives Matter two years ago, became an LGBT rights activist, campaigned for Bernie Sanders,” the student, identified as David Rodriquez, told the Times Free Press..."

Ami Horowitz's Republican National Convention Findings

Ami Horowitz's Republican National Convention Findings | National Review:
"Filmmaker Ami Horowitz conducted an interesting experiment at the Republican National Convention this year.
He stood outside the convention area holding an “I Love Hillary” sign to see what would happen. People were a little amused but surprisingly nice to a guy who seemed to be in the wrong place.
When he tried the same experiment at the Democratic National Convention, people weren’t so friendly. Horowitz hit up Philadelphia and stood outside holding an “I Love Trump” sign.
The responses were less than kind and it wasn’t long before he was spit up on and called a racist, surrounded by a bullying group of haters.

New York Times Editor Defends Not Covering Clinton’s ‘Misleading’ Statement During Interview | TheBlaze.com:

"An editor at the New York Times defended in a blog post published Tuesday the paper’s decision not to cover an unflattering story about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Liz Spayd, the Times’ public editor, attempted to explain why the publication didn’t cover Clinton’s claim during a recent “Fox News Sunday” interview that FBI Director James Comey said her answers regarding her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state were “truthful.”"

On January 8, 2014, Complainant filed a formal complaint in which he alleged that the Agency subjected him to discrimination on the basis of race (African American) and in reprisal for prior EEO activity when, starting in the fall of 2013, a coworker (C1) repeatedly wore a cap to work with an insignia of the Gadsden Flag, which depicts a coiled rattlesnake and the phrase “Don’t Tread on Me.”

Complainant stated that he found the cap to be racially offensive to African Americans because the flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden, a “slave trader & owner of slaves.” Complainant also alleged that he complained about the cap to management; however, although management assured him C1 would be told not to wear the cap, C1 continued to come to work wearing the offensive cap. Additionally, Complainant alleged that on September 2, 2013, a coworker took a picture of him on the work room floor without his consent. In a decision dated January 29, 2014, the Agency dismissed Complainant’s complaint on the basis it failed to state a claim . . . .

Complainant maintains that the Gadsden Flag is a “historical indicator of white resentment against blacks stemming largely from the Tea Party.”
I seem to recall the Tea Party being founded to protest taxes and spending, not as a racial grievance group."

Supreme Court Sides With Virginia School in Transgender Bathroom Case — For Now | TheBlaze.com

Supreme Court Sides With Virginia School in Transgender Bathroom Case — For Now | TheBlaze.com:

"RICHMOND, Va. (TheBlaze/AP) — The U.S. Supreme Court says a Virginia school board can block a transgender male from using the boy’s bathroom at his school until it decides whether to intervene in his case.

The high court agreed Wednesday to allow the Gloucester County School board to bar Gavin Grimm from the bathroom that matches his gender identity until the justices decide whether to review an appeals court ruling in his case."

Federal Appeals Court Upholds Criminal Charges Against 13 Year Old for Burping in Class

Federal Appeals Court Upholds Criminal Charges Against 13 Year Old for Burping in Class - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
"The scene is Albuquerque's Cleveland Middle School, where a 13-year-old class clown is disrupting things by constantly burping during teaching time.
So the teacher bounces him to the vice principal's office, who has a sneaking suspicion that the kid is involved in selling pot on school grounds.
The boy is made to take his jeans and shoes off but no drugs are found.
The kid—a pain in the ass in all likelihood, let's be honest—is suspended for the rest of the school year.
As over-the-top as that seems, there's worse yet to come.
He's also criminally charged under an impossibly vague statute that reads in part:
"No person shall willfully interfere with the educational process of any public or private school by committing, threatening to commit or inciting others to commit any act which would disrupt, impair, interfere with or obstruct the lawful mission, processes, procedures or functions of a public or private school."
...When you encounter this sort of ridiculous overreaction on the part of school officials—which is then certified by even-more-august authorities—it is no wonder why Americans are losing confidence in major institutions of political, commercial, and civic life.
These are not the actions of authorities who have belief in themselves and the things they run.
They are the behaviors of a society in decline, to be honest, that no longer feels as if it can exercise power at any level except via banishment and extreme action."

Uganda spends cash on a magic internet smut machine

Uganda spends cash on a magic internet smut machine – TechEye:
Image result for stop smut"While it is desperate for cash to pay for a cancer diagnostic machine, the Ugandan government is prepared to waste $88,000 on a magic device which is supposed to tell if people are watching porn on their PCs and mobiles.
Having nude photos on mobile and electronic devices in Uganda can land you in jail for up to 10 years as the government is keen to “stamp pornography out of Ugandan society”.
It even has a Minster of Ethics, Simon Lokodo, who thinks it is ethical to waste money on this device while his country’s hospitals are strapped for tech.
He is clearly impressed with the machine which will arrive in Uganda next month.
It is not clear how it will work but Lokodo said that it will be able to “detect, control, and scrutinize porn on mobile handsets and other electronic devices”...
