"Well, it certainly makes a nice change from the usual tired old tricks deployed by the alarmist establishment — the ad hominem, the Appeal to Authority, etc. And it seems to have been quite effective, too: for a while yesterday, Weather Girl Kait’s attack was the number one item on Reddit, and I’ve received several tweets from impressionable SJW types brimming with righteous indignation at my climate-denying ignorance. Also, I know that several other organisations — including AOL — are keen to join Parker in sticking the boot in. This I find very flattering, because when the liberal media joins forces to try to humiliate you, it means they consider you a very powerful threat."
"Human Rights. Human. Rights. Delegates of the U.N. Human Rights Council opened a meeting in Geneva on Monday by standing silently with heads bowed, after the delegation of Venezuela’s leftist government requested a minute’s silence to “honor” the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Spokesmen for the HRC Secretariat and for U.N. Human Rights Commissioner Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein did not respond by press time to queries about the appropriateness of the minute’s silence for the leader of a communist regime with a grim human rights record. ...The U.N. is a useless institution run by a coalition of Rain Men. They’re better off counting toothpicks than running the world..."
Top 10 'real' news stories that turned out to be fake - Washington Times
Since “fake news” is all the rage within the mainstream media, here’s the top 10 “real” news stories they reported on — and some downright propagandized — that turned out to be, well, fake.
It’s the reason this new narrative of “fake news” will never catch on, and why Americans’ trust in the press is at an all-time low. 1. If you like your health care plan, you can keep it... 2. Hands Up, Don’t Shoot... 3. The Iran deal was negotiated with moderate Iranians, not the radical mullahs... Lots more here!
"So what is the pipeline dispute really about? Political expediency in a White House that does not see itself as being bound by the rule of law. The Obama administration has decided to build a political legacy rather than lead the country. It is facilitating an illegal occupation that has grown wildly out of control. That the economy depends on a consistent and predictable permitting regime seems never to have crossed the president’s mind."
U.S. Students Falling Flat on Math, Science and Reading Scores | U.S. News | US News:
WASHINGTON (AP) — American students have a math problem.
The latest global snapshot of student performance shows declining math scores in the U.S. and stagnant performance in science and reading.
"We're losing ground — a troubling prospect when, in today's knowledge-based economy, the best jobs can go anywhere in the world," said Education Secretary John B. King Jr. "Students in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Minnesota aren't just vying for great jobs along with their neighbors or across state lines, they must be competitive with peers in Finland, Germany, and Japan."
Math was a stubborn concern. "This pattern that we're seeing in mathematics seems to be consistent with what we've seen in previous assessments ... everything is just going down," said Peggy Carr, acting commissioner at the National Center for Education Statistics.
The 2015 Program for International Student Assessment, or PISA, study is the latest to document that American students are underperforming their peers in several Asian nations. The U.S. was below the international average in math and about average in science and reading. Singapore was the top performer in all three subjects on the PISA test..."

Activists Launch Monthly Fee System For Whites To Pay Blacks | The Daily Caller "Liberal black activists have launched a monthly “subscription box” designed for white people “to not only financially support Black femme freedom fighters, but also complete measurable tasks in the fight against white supremacy.” The subscription service is called Safety Pin Box and was launched last week. Wearing a safety pin has recently become a symbol within the liberal community for one to show solidarity with minorities. The group is headed by Leslie Mac and Marissa Jenae Johnson. Johnson is one of the Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during a speech in Seattle last year. There are four different types of subscriptions offered by the group.
The “e-ally box” is $25 a month and is “an electronic form of solidarity.”It comes with “exclusive ‘calls to action’ when urgent ally services are needed in times of crisis.” Ally is a term used by Black Lives Matter activists to describe white comrades.
There is then the “pin pals box” which is a box shared by two white people for $100 total. Lucky subscribers get a “physical ‘safety pin’ box shipped to one address with guided two-person tasks for the month.”
There is then the “premiere” box subscription which costs $100 a month. This includes a “physical ‘safety pin’ box shipped to you with guided ally tasks for the month.
Tasks will vary in scope from individual to group assignments, and task categories include data collection, personal development, influencing your networks, and showing radical compassion.”Safety Pin Box did not respond immediately to an inquiry about the amount of subscribers they have.
Another option they offer besides subscription is the one-time “Revenge Box” which costs $50. The description says: “Send this box to a Trump supporter, bigot, or white supremacist of our choice.”The recipient of one of these boxes gets “a link to a website that features highlights of the current movement for Black lives and stories of Black excellence.”
This is not the first online effort seeking donations from guilty white people. A black woman launched a reparations website in August."
Report: Secret Pentagon study found $125B in wasted spending | Washington Examiner "A Pentagon-commissioned study in 2015 found the Defense headquarters wasted $125 billion.
But upon learning of the study's results, military leaders ordered the findings never be released to the press or public, according to a report published Monday evening.
In January 2015, the Pentagon learned it could cut $125 billion in administrative costs at the Arlington, Va., facility over the next five years.
But Defense leaders chose to keep the report secret in fear lawmakers would cut funding, the Washington Post found..."
Donora, Pennsylvania police say 27-year-old Matthew Pugh was having an “election argument” with a fellow resident of the Donora Towers high-rise apartment complex when he “reportedly became enraged,” the Observer-Reporter reports.
“He allegedly picked up a chair and hit the woman over the head, knocking her to the floor,” according to the paper.
The chair gashed the woman on the head and she “bled severely.” She suffered other injuries during the fall and was taken to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.
According to police, Pugh left the scene, but was apprehended a short time later.
Donora police say Pugh is a Hillary Clinton supporter and was triggered when “the woman apparently made a comment either against Clinton or in support of Trump,” Donora police Officer Keith Charlton tells the paper.
The Herald Standard newspaper identifies the victim as 69-year-old Maureen Zubrick.
“Both Zubrick and Pugh took a side on the recent presidential election,” Charlton wrote in an affidavit..."
"The heads of two Ivy League universities are refusing calls to label their schools “sanctuary campuses,” saying the concept has “no basis in law.”
Princeton University President Chris Eisgruber said in a statement that since the election of immigration hardliner Donald Trump, he’s received calls from various students and faculty members asking him to declare Princeton a “sanctuary campus,” a term applied to colleges and universities that do not comply with federal immigration law in favor of providing a safe haven for illegal immigrants."
McDonald's Hits Back at #FightFor15 Hard With Touching Ad Campaign:
McDonald’s really does respond to #FightFor15 in the best way possible with their new spot, America’s Best First Job.
If you’ve been keeping up with the movement, you likely noticed a pattern among the activists. Leftists pushing a $15 minimum wage seem to have locked onto McDonald’s as their main target (see Minimum Wage Hikes Result in McDonalds Closing Doors. We Told You…).
Well, McDonald’s has an answer for whiny protesters.
And it’s awesome…
McDonald’s just McMelted the faces off of liberals worldwide.
The company made its point in a not so subtle way, sure, but they kept it positive.
Grilling meat byproduct and pink chicken ooze at McDonald’s isn’t meant to be a career, it’s supposed to be a stepping stone on your way to a grown up job.
The thing about minimum wage jobs is they require minimum skills.
McDonald’s gets it, you and I get it, even James Franco gets it.
The only ones not getting it?
Soppy leftist milquetoasts..."

It is really getting tiring to see so much hate being
generated and encouraged by the Left. If
they truly embraced tolerance, as they claim they do, they wouldn’t be trying
to destroy those who do not share their beliefs. We have learned, all too well, over the
course of the past eight years, that there is a double standard when it comes
to tolerance, our rights and freedoms.
The scandal ridden Obama administration is full of examples
of how individuals were targeted for having differing opinions or beliefs. It is also full of examples of how beliefs,
and apparently rights were far from equal.
The rule of man, rather than law, began to establish itself during this
administration. It became transparently
clear that your rights were limited if you didn’t agree with the ruling party.
Lives and livelihoods were destroyed as a war was launched
against American citizens as attempts were made to rule by fear and with an
iron fist. There were continuous efforts
to hijack our founding principles and our government, as established in our
U.S. Constitution. The fundamental transformation
of America was well underway. And, they
may have gotten away with it, had it not been for the will of the American
people......
University of Louisville’s head women’s basketball coach, Jeff Walz, recently ripped into the participation trophy mentality of Millennials, and a video of his epic rant is going viral online.
In a video posted to YouTube by Elite Basketball Training, Walz explained his take on the problem and why he thinks kids should learn how to lose during a press conference following a recent loss to Maryland.
“You gotta have a will,” Waltz said.
“ … Right now the generation of kids that are coming through everybody gets a damn trophy, okay. You finish last, you come home with a trophy. Are you kidding me? What’s that teaching kids? It’s okay to lose,” he said.
“And unfortunately, it’s our society. It’s what we’re building for and it’s not just in basketball, it’s in life. Everybody thinks they should get a job. Everybody thinks they should get a good job. No, that’s not how it works, but unfortunately that’s what we’re preparing for,” Walz continued.
“Because you finish fifth, you walk home with this nice trophy and parents are all excited? No. Not to be too blunt, but you’re a loser. Like we’re losers. We got beat. We lost. There is no trophy for us. But unfortunately the ways these kids are brought up today, there is a trophy. Because nobody wants anybody to have hurt feelings. Nobody wants to get their feelings hurt,” he said.
“Unfortunately, in the real world – and I don’t know how it is with your all’s jobs – but with mine if you lose enough you get fired. And that’s just the way it is. I’m trying to explain to our kids like hey, I’m trying to prepare you for the real world, because when you go to get a job there’s competition. And what are you going to do to stand out? Unfortunately, we’re not preparing these kids, before they get to us at least, to be ready for that.”
Walz explained that when he played basketball, winners took the trophy and the glory and the loser went home. Consolation brackets for losers didn’t exist.
“When you play three or four … games in one day and you lose three of them and win the last one and everyone goes home happy. You’re one in three,” Walz said. “I know it’s a long time ago, but … days we played when you lost you went home. There was no friendship bracket. Oh, let’s go on the left side to the friendship games so everybody can play two more games. No, you went home. You went home a loser and you worked at it if you wanted to be good.”
The video received well over 38,000 views in the four days since it was posted to YouTube. It’s also been shared nearly 4,000 times on Facebook.
Of course, the vast majority of folks on Facebook commended Walz for highlighting the issue.
“My oldest son, 9, plays baseball. We had him in a league that gave participation trophies. This year we moved him to one that doesn’t and when the season ended and he didn’t get one he asked me why and I told him they didn’t win it all and only winners got a trophy,” Patrick Gordon posted. “He says to me in the infinite wisdom that children often have ‘well, you know dad that makes more sense.’ Kids get it.”
“That’s what’s wrong with these crybabies today,” John Beauford added. “They all expect to be rewarded.”
“These kids have been coddled,” Connie Kiser wrote. “If you want to win, play harder and do the best you can. That’s how people get ahead. Teach kids to have some initiative. We’ve got spoiled brats who have no idea how to work and don’t want to work because it’s all been handed to them.”
University's 'Whiteness Forum' takes 'critical look at whiteness' - The College Fix:
"Students at Cal State San Marcos on Thursday hosted a “Whiteness Forum” as part of a communications class they are enrolled in, setting up more than a dozen displays that highlighted what they contend is how white privilege has oppressed people of color in a variety of ways.
A “white beauty standard” display stated “we are studying the white hegemonic ideals of the beauty industry.”
Another asked “who does whiteness say that you are,” noting “whiteness studies” is defined as “the study of the system of white dominion in our society with a focus on ideologies of white supremacy as collective, rather than white individuals.”
A “Make America White Again” display included an image of Donald Trump’s baseball hat and argued his campaign has led to a wave of hate crimes.
A “Whiteness in the Court” project explained “the law is a tool used by dominant groups, those that have the social, political and economic power, to represent their interests and reflect their values to maintain their privileged position over subordinate groups.”
It cited stats that “blacks are five times more likely to go to prison over whites of similar conviction” and “Latinos are three times more likely to go to prison over whites of similar conviction.”
Other displays: “Gentrification is the new Colonialism,” “Stand up for Standing Rock” and a “Wheel of Whiteness.”
During the two-hour event, students who created the displays talked to guests about their projects, explaining their studies and quizzing passersby on facts and figures relating to race.
One group had guests spin the “Wheel of Whiteness.”
Another passed out “gentrification is the new colonialism” stickers..."
"If confirmed, Tom Price will be the best qualified HHS secretary in a generation. His nomination has been received enthusiastically by the health care industry, and he has received endorsements from the American Medical Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. Moreover, unlike Kathleen Sebelius and Sylvia Burwell, he spent twenty years actually treating patients. He knows the system and why Obamacare isn’t working. If the Democrats successfully Bork him, it means that they can’t be trusted with even a modicum of power."
Only 30 Percent of Aliens Admitted Under Obama “Minors” Program Are Minors "Only 480 (or 30 percent) of the 1,600 aliens who have traveled to the United States under the Obama administration’s Central American Minors (CAM) program are actually minors — that is, under the age of 18. ...The report from State also noted that, so far, more than 10,600 Central Americans from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador have applied for refugee status or humanitarian parole under the CAM program.
...When it was first created, the stated goal of CAM was bring Central American minors safely to their parents in the United States.
This was sold as a humanitarian measure, designed to eliminate the need for these minors to make the long, dangerous trek all the way through Mexico to the U.S. border.
However, noted CIS, the expansion of the program created an entirely new situation:
In other words, individuals from El Salvador, Guatemala, or Honduras who made it to the U.S. — illegally for the most part — can now have their extended family members flown to them with U.S. taxpayers’ money. And those on the other side, who considered crossing here illegally, could be spared the trouble and given legal status. This seems to be this administration's idea of enforcing immigration laws.
The MRCTV report, citing an e-mail from the State Department, noted that more than 10,600 Central Americans from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador have applied for refugee status or humanitarian parole under the CAM program, to date.
If the current ratio of adults-to-children continues, 7,400 of those will be adults and not minors, for whom the program was originally created.
And the so called, tolerant Hollywood left, who claim to be gay rights advocates, yet have no problem flooding America with hundreds of thousands of 7th century savages in the name of diversity and compassion... say what?
Crickets!
Unfortunately a lot more of the LGBTQ community will have to be sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalism before the progs are even willing to discuss the possibility that Islam just might, perhaps, be a tad bit homophobic and intolerant, not to mention... unable to "Coexist" with anyone other than Muslims..."
