Earlier in the week, president-elect Donald Trump tweeted that:

"It is for the American people to make up their minds as to the truth."

And now we have the answer.

When CNBC's Podesta-panderer and Trump-denier John Harwood asked the question yesterday "who do you believe America?" we suspect he was not expecting the answer he received from over 84,000 American citizens...

It would appear that "We, the people" have spoken once more and only 1 in 6 believe in the elite establishment-delivered narrative.

This merely confirms Lou Dobbs' survey from earlier in the week.

Once again the establishment has learned absolutely nothing from the campaign and election of Donald Trump, and refuses to listen to anything outside of the cozy echo-chamber in which they hamster-wheel their lives away in."

I am talking about the growing minority of students who believe they have a right to be free from being offended. That mentality is unworthy of an American. It’s hardly worthy of a Frenchman. Let’s get something straight right now. You have no right to be unoffended. You have a right to be offended with regularity. It is the price you pay for living in a free society. If you don’t understand that you are confused and dangerously so. In part, I blame your high school teachers for failing to teach you basic civics before you got your diploma. Most of you went to the public high schools, which are a disaster. Don’t tell me that offended you. I went to a public high school.

This is already saturated in so much pure truth it’s guaranteed to give every liberal student in the class a nervous breakdown, which of course, is absolutely fantastic.

It’s what you hope it would be, really.
People are absolutely condemning Cosmo for publishing a story that treats incest as just some run-of-the-mill thing.
Even their little “genetic sexual attraction” (or GSA for short) aims at taking the icky out of incest.

Appearing on “CNN Newsroom” with guest host Ana Cabrera, Lemieux said, “I have to say, I would not describe hate crime as the most comfortable word choice, considering these circumstances.
There’s so much that we do not know about what took place, what motivated this person. We only have the one account of law enforcement.
...“When we use a phrase like ‘hate crime,’ we’re typically referring to crimes against people of color, people of various religious groups, LGBT people, people who have been historically attacked, abused or disenfranchised on the basis of their identity.
To now extend that to the majority group and a group of people that have a history with African-Americans that has been abusive, and we can apply that to either police officers or to Caucasians,
I think gets into very tricky territory...”

Colorado snow country stuff

Waiting for the bus to return us from Copper Mtn back to the Frisco bus lot we chatted with an old geezer in a Copper Mtn. Ambassador outfit.
They're the volunteers who help skiers and others on the mountain.
He made mention that he was once a pilot and Honeybumps bugged me to get more info.
We sat together on the bus so I asked about his life.
Jack was typically modest but admitted he'd retired from the US Army decades ago.
I bugged him for more.
Joined Army in 1950s.
Saw all of Viet Nam.

82nd airborne.
Then a Huey pilot in Nam.
Finished as officer in Office of Inspector General.
85 now.
Quit skiing a couple of years ago after his 2nd bionic part, a new shoulder, but enjoys helping out people at Copper.
Keeps him young, he says.
Wife still an Ambassador and skis like a maniac.
Says they call her the "Silver Tornado".
I imagine they're quite a couple.
It was an honor to sit with this American.
Lots of 'em here.
Lots of 'em all over America.
