"If you ever had any doubt that democrats consider your money theirs, Nancy Pelosi just erased that. According to her, if you are “allowed” to keep the money you earn, that’s really stealing from poor people who didn’t earn it. 
...Now here’s where the House Minority Leader says it is a crime for you to keep your own money. She says the Republicans want to rush through an ObamaCare repeal because they need the money to offer a tax break.
“They’re in a hurry because they need this money to give a tax break to the wealthiest people in our country. This bill will have the biggest transfer of wealth in the history of our country — Robin Hood in reverse. That is the goal of their tax bill, but they need this money from your healthcare in order to do that,” Pelosi said.
Stay with me on this one Nancy: ObamaCare raised taxes and caused most working people to spend more money on shittier coverage. 
Repealing this ridiculous law means that working people will be able to keep more of their money. Also, offering a tax break means that working people will be able to keep even more of that money that they earn.
Poor people are not entitled to the fruits of other people’s labor. 
Letting people keep more of the money they earn is not stealing from poor people because that money was never theirs in the first place..."

Today’s college students are offered a variety of ways to cope with the stress of final exams.

At the University of Pennsylvania, for example, several different student groups offered various study breaks, including a Zumba class, a video game stress reliever, and a “Chocolate and Chocolate Labs” event, the Daily Pennsylvanian reports. 

Student organizers did not respond to The College Fix’s request seeking details.

An annual tradition at the University of Illinois offers students a “Reading Day.” 

“In place of classes, the university hosts a variety of non-mandatory events aimed at helping students study and de-stress,” the Daily Illini reports.
Penn State’s “De-Stress Fest” included origami folding, Wii gaming, “brain massage music” and more, according to the university’s website.

The University of Michigan offered Play-Doh and more in an event billed as a way to de-stress before final exams, according to its Facebook page. 

Other relaxers at the event included glitter bottles, Legos and dominoes..."

You may know me as a political pundit and writer who has spoken publicly about how the Affordable Care Act negatively affected my family.
What you might not know is two years ago, I was a seven-month-pregnant widow with one toddler who got a letter two weeks after my husband died, informing me I’d lost my third or fourth health insurance plan since the Affordable Care Act passed. 
If you’ll remember, the promise was that I could keep my plan if I liked it.
I could not.
I predicted what would happen to my family’s insurance, and to much less fortunate people subjected to the exchanges with us, many of whom have seen doubled premiums and tripled deductibles.
If you’ll remember, the promise was everyone’s premiums would go down.
They did not.
For predicting it, I was routinely called a lying hack in public.
...Most people who aren’t in the individual market, which is the one most affected by ACA, have no idea what the plans look like.
It is a market where the costs of the bill’s mandates are more visible, even when subsidized. When I cite exorbitant deductibles, folks tell me to suck it up and pay $3,000. 
I laugh at a $3,000 deductible. 
What in the old system was considered a very high deductible is now among the lower available, and premiums for any kind of deductible are high, even with subsidies. 
Many families have to hit $12,700, and they’re paying a mortgage-sized premium..."

"More than three quarters of African American births are to unmarried women, nearly double the illegitimacy rate of all other births, according to new federal data.

The National Center for Health Statistics said that in 2015, 77.3 percent of non-immigrant black births were illegitimate. 

The national non-immigrant average is 42 percent, and it was 30 percent for whites.

The new numbers were in a Center for Immigration Studies analysis on the births to immigrants. 

That total is 32.7 percent, but to Hispanic immigrants it is 48.9 percent, according to Steven Camarota, the director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies.

Camarota calculated a huge rise in births to single Hispanic immigrants, something that could have a societal impact..."
