Daily Wire reporter Michael Knowles spoke out after being attacked by liberal protesters during a campus event at the University of Missouri-Kansas City during a Friday episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
Disgraced New Yorker Fact-Checker: ‘When Did The Memory Of 9/11 Become Sacred?’ | Daily Wire
"Back in July of last year, Talia Lavin was fired from her job as a fact-checker for the New Yorker after she misidentified a wounded Marine's elbow tattoo as a Nazi "Iron Cross," and convinced much of the left that the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency had hired an actual white supremacist to work on their abuse task force. Saturday, she was at it again.
The self-described "expert" on white supremacy, in an effort to defend Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who flippantly referred to the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in a speech as "some people did something," Lavin asked whether we're supposed to believe that 9/11 is "sacred." Talia Lavin ✔@chick_in_kiev when did the memory of 9/11 become “sacred”? in what way? and to whom?
The tweet was a reaction to, of all people, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who referred to September 11 as "sacred ground," taking both Omar and President Donald Trump — who posted video of the attacks as a way of reminding Omar why 9/11 commands so much respect — to task.
Lavin, who now works as a reporter for Media Matters tracking "white nationalism," and will teach a course on journalism this summer at New York University, doubled down.
One Missouri clinic has seen more than six times as many cases in the first few months of 2019 compared with the same period last year.
"...Pregnant women, young men and teens are all part of the rapidly growing number of syphilis patients coming to the Choices Medical Services clinic in the rural southwestern corner of the state. She can barely keep the antibiotic treatment for syphilis, penicillin G benzathine, stocked on her shelves.
Public health officials say rural counties across the Midwest and West are becoming the new battleground.
While syphilis is still concentrated in cities such as San Francisco, Atlanta and Las Vegas, its continued spread into places like Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma creates a new set of challenges..." Read all!
National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd claimed Sunday that it is “absolutely legal” for the federal government to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities.
Judd argued during a “Fox & Friends” segment that President Donald Trump’s proposed plan to do just that was “brilliant” and should have been cheered by people on both sides.
California may ban hotels from giving guests tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion | fox5sandiego.com
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KOVR) — Hotels in California may no longer be able to provide guests with tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or other personal care products.
Assembly Bill 1162 passed the Natural Resources committee on Monday by a vote of 6-3 (two Assemblymembers did not vote.)
The bill would ban “lodging establishments”, including hotels, motels, resorts, bed and breakfasts, and vacation rentals, from offering small plastic bottles holding 12 ounces or under of product in rooms or public spaces.
Instead, the establishments could offer “bulk dispensers” that could be used by a number of people. The goal is to cut down on the amount of plastic containers thrown away by guests and operators..." Read on.

Yes, we need to probe the Russia collusion probers:
Attorney General William Barr dared to use the “s” word.
He said in congressional testimony that the Trump campaign had been spied on by the American government. Pressed by incredulous Senate Democrats, he clarified: “I think spying did occur. The question is whether it was adequately predicated.”
“Spying” has a negative connotation, so perhaps “surveilling” would have been the better way to put it. But a key question is indeed whether there was improper surveillance of the campaign, as Barr stated at another point in the hearing.
Worse than Watergate "For most of my lifetime, “Watergate” has been used as the measuring stick for political corruption. What exactly was the Watergate scandal?
On June 17, 1972, five men were arrested for burglarizing the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D. C. It was never alleged that President Richard M. Nixon knew about the burglary prior to the attempt, but that he tried to use the power of the presidency to obstruct justice in order to protect members of his administration and his reelection committee from facing criminal charges.
The great irony is that Nixon was going to crush McGovern in the general election without any illegal help. Nothing that could have been stolen from the Democrats could have helped the Republican Party win any bigger in 1972 -- Nixon claimed 520 electoral votes and carried 49 states. The break-in was stupid and unnecessary.
And most importantly, it was illegal.
...In a delicious irony, this week Attorney General William Barr implied that a new bar might have been set (pun intended) during the 2016 election cycle when he announced that he believes President Trump’s political campaign was spied upon by the federal government.
Just let that sink in for a moment and noodle around in your brain.
In 1972, Republicans were caught using former CIA operatives to spy on their political rivals.
In 2016, Democrats have now been caught using active FBI and senior Department of Justice employees to spy on President Trump.
It is no longer debatable whether or not it happened, because A. G. Barr just told us it happened. The only question that remains is whether or not they had any sort of justifiable reason for doing so..." Read all!!
Student: What White Privilege Lessons Did to My High School | Intellectual Takeout
"During my last year in high school, all seniors were required to write a speech about the topic of their choice and present this speech to the student body and faculty.
My essay, titled “Division”, dealt with how identity politics ruined the last few years at the high school that I attended. It was summarized well here.
...During my sophomore year of high school, a mandatory lesson for the entire school was scheduled regarding the concept of being an ally towards those who were labeled as being marginalized.
All homeroom teachers were required to discuss the idea that “privileged” people need to stand up for the minority students and ensure their safety and well-being.
Minority students included anyone that was not white, straight, and Christian.
The absurdity is how, within an instant, we were all separated into groups that we had not recognized prior to this.
Some were labeled as victims while others had a superior position just by being born. From then on, relationships changed.
It was so insulting to suggest that one group of people should feel guilty for their “privilege” and the other group forced to have the mindset that they need help from the privileged..." Read all!
Tucker Explains Democrats’ Reactions To Trump Sanctuary Idea: ‘It Sounds A Little … Racist!’ | The Daily Caller:
Fox News Host Tucker Carlson asserted that Democrats don’t really have a welcoming attitude towards illegal aliens during the opening monologue of Friday’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
“The left really couldn’t be clearer on this question. All immigration is good. More immigration is better. There is no distinction between legal and illegal varieties of immigration. And if you disagree with any of this, you are a white nationalist. That’s what they say almost every day for the past two years but we watch carefully, so have you,” Tucker said, after showing a number Democrats saying on the record that they wanted to welcome illegal immigrants.
The Dirty Little Secret Behind Clean Energy Jobs - American Experiment "Renewable energy advocacy groups like Clean Energy Economy Minnesota (CEEM) often claim that “clean” energy is a major jobs engine for our state. ...When you think of “clean energy” jobs, what kind of jobs do you visualize? Most people probably think of someone installing a solar panel or a wind turbine, but 46,191 (approximately 76 percent) of the jobs counted as “clean energy” jobs in the CEEM report are jobs in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry, and people who build and install energy-efficient doors, windows, appliances and lighting..." In the annals of U.S. law enforcement, no individual has reached such depths of disgrace as James “Cardinal” Comey. The “Cardinal” was a sobriquet that FBI agents used to denigrate their leader. As Deputy Attorney General, he was called “drama queen.” Known for his pomposity and self-regard, Comey cut a swath of arrogance unmatched in the histories of either of those illustrious organizations. He was the cult of personality. He surrounded himself with sycophants, people dedicated to his promotion and their advancement. The Bureau and the public became the losers.
Not only were the students she approached ecstatic to sign it, but one member of UCLA’s student government encouraged her to change the language to “diversity” and “sensitivity training” to hide their real intentions so the administration would approve it.
Lawmakers in Illinois have advanced legislation that would require President Trump to release five years of his tax returns in order to appear on the state’s 2020 presidential ballot.
The Illinois state Senate voted 36-19 on Thursday to pass the bill, which will now move to the state’s Democrat-controlled House, according to Chicago radio station WBEZ..."
